Quite a large marina on the Llangollen canal with a selection of hire boats, mixed with short and long-term moorings. Toilets snd showers are available for moorers and Diesel is available either on the canal side or in the marina. I have only ever encountered frurndly and very helpful staff at the marina. This applies to the Brokerage sales staff and the marina office staff. There are a large number of highly competent independant contractirs and businesses adjacent to the marina. Thise I have used proved to be most helpful and reliable to be left a job to be completed in turn with other previously booked work.

I needed to moor up NB Rowan for a couple of days to give my batteries a bit of a winter boost. I found the staff to be very helpful in every way in a genuine willingness to help. The rates and charges seemed reasonable. I can also recommend the free range eggs and local ice creams on sale in the office.

A well kept, easy to navigate marina with a laundry facility. You buy tokens from the marina office on the other side of the marina opposite the showers, toilet, and laundry block. The office also sells a small range of narrowboat essentials such as windlasses and laundry supplies. Pies, ice cream, bread, milk, and eggs are also sold. Very impressed.

We had over-winter moorings for our small Narrowboat this winter (Nov-Mar). The Marina is very clean & tidy throughout. Toilet & Shower blocks are spotless. Staff are always friendly & helpful...So its 10/10 from us...well done Swanley Bridge Marina.

Moored here for a few weeks after purchasing our first narrowboat. Toilet, shower and laundry is spotless and a beautiful location. The team in the office are very helpful and the on site workshops are superb.

Beautifully situated in the English countryside very near the picturesque town of Nantwich. The staff are very friendly and they all feel like old friends.

Lovely peaceful and well run Marina. All the facilities available from major repair work to a classy paint job! There's a laundry and toilet/shower block which always seems to be clean and fresh, and the girls in the Marina office are helpful too!

We moored our boat here for 4 weeks whilst we went to Canada and the staff were so friendly and helpful from our booking in to leaving. Would highly recommend and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. Particular thanks to Barbara for your help 😁

Bought my first Narrowboat here in September and can't thank enough for the warm welcome, support and absolutely lovely people who made my first venture into canal life so easy and enjoyable. Stayed in the marina for 2 months enjoyed the pleasant surroundings and chatty folk.

Having bought a narrowboat from Swanley Bridge Marina. I was expecting to just sail way into the sunset but it hasn’t quite worked out that way. An operation appointment at a Leeds hospital meant that I went cap in hand to the office and asked to stay a bit longer so my family could have a base and security to look after my dog and boat while I was away and from there the story unfolded. Andy and Malcolm from the brokerage not only shared all their expert knowledge and information when selling the boat but moved heaven and earth to allow me to stay a few extra weeks. The ladies in the office were amazingly efficient at juggling the moorings around. The site is exceptionally well kept and there is a wonderful real sense of community. The showers and laundry facilities are clean and tidy but it doesn’t stop there. The team have contacts for a brilliant boat mechanic who not only serviced the engine but also piloted my boat into the different moorings when needed. I can’t sing their praises enough, a superb team of lovely people who not only run a successful business but really really care about the customer. Many many thanks folks.

We had a lovely winter stay at this marina. I was happy our Narrowboat was on a safe mooring while we were away from it. The staff and fellow boaters were all friendly and helpful. The facility were clean and in good order. The marina is well maintained and in a peaceful spot but near enough to the town of Nantwich for shopping etc. If we happen to be back this way again and in need of a mooring we would definitely stay here again.

Great Marina with all mod cons, staff are very helpful and thoughtful, I really appreciate the effort the staff go to to make your stay long or short, memorable.

Just a review as a visitor, and a heads up to other boaters, they're charging £1.30 for diesel...if you float past 200 yards there's a fuel boat... it's £1.05 there. No other way to put it... they're extracting the urine.
