We just finished eating here this evening, celebrating our 2 year anniversary of moving to Portugal. This was, by far, the best meal we have had in Portugal and one of our top 3-4 meals we have EVER had. It was perfect from start to finish, from the intimate Chef’s Table experience, to the music playlist, to chatting with the other diners, and best of all - THE FOOD!! Often times with tasting menus there might be 1-2 courses that you don’t love, or even maybe dislike. Not here. Every course was incredible - from presentation to flavor and balance. It was so difficult until to pick a favorite moment because they were all so good, but perhaps the suckling pig was the winner. Amazing. On top of all of this, Andre and Marta were wonderful - warm, engaging, informative and incredibly talented. We cannot wait to go back again. They change their menu every few months so we will go for the next iteration. It is impossible to say enough good things about this experience. It was incredible for every minute of the ~3 hr meal. Thank you!

For my 30th birthday we went for dinner here and this has got to be one of the best dinners I have had in my entire life. As everyone knows I love love food. I love experiencing food and trying new things. This was such an amazing amazing experience. Honestly such talent i I was just speechless and such love for the food. You can tell they spent hours preparing things. It’s like nothing I have experienced before. If you’re in Lisbon and you want an amazing experience it’s a definite must visit place. Such a new and fresh idea of serving only nine people personally. Just exquisite ❤️❤️❤️❤️Thank you for all the love n the experience I will never forget this. Amago was an excellent example of a fine dining experience. The food was absolutely delicious, with a variety of options to choose from. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was comfortable and inviting. The presentation of the food was impressive, with each plate looking like a work of art. The prices were reasonable, making it a great value for the quality of the food. All in all, Amago was a fantastic experience and definitely worth the visit.

Incredible dining experience at a fraction of the price. This amazing couple has transformed their love of food into inspired local dishes, all with an amazing twist. Their ability to see past the obvious with their ingredients was delightful. Their creations were truly inspired. I cannot wait to return in a few months to see what else they have come up with ! I’ll definitely be recommending this to everyone I know who will be passing through Lisboa.

Very intimate dinner. Tried coming here when I was in Lisbon in 2022 but couldn't get reservations. Finally was able to eat here during this trip to Lisbon and by far was one of my memorable meals. Every dish on the tasting menu was delicious! The chef couple were very informative of each dish they served and it was treat to see them plate every dish. Along side with their incredible hospitality! I will definitely be back the next time I'm in Lisbon!

Best food experience I've had in Lisbon. It's a 10 seat restaurant and those ten seats are around ONE table in an intentionally designed space. The food is gastronomic, elevated, creative and beautifully presented, but the connection with the chefs, the other diners and the kitchen feels like family around a table in someone's home. The connection is a wonderful part of the experience. It's an authentic, local, fine dining experience. Pro tip: Do not skip the wine pairing.

Amazing experience! Definitely go and visit Amago, you won't be disappointed. You can see the love and care put into the food when you have a chefs table view, with great hosts Marta and Andre looking after you impeccably. The food is on par with Michelin starred restaurants we have been to!

Exceptional meal, service and experience. The chefs — Andy and Marta - are so passionate about their craft and they take their time to share their inspiration for Âmago and the meals you eat throughout the night. We had so many unique combinations of ingredients, in total there were about 10 dishes! It is intentionally a one table restaurant and it makes for a unique social experience where you can connect with the other 4-8 people around the table. Thank you for such a special evening!

One of the best dinner experiences I ever had and exceptional value given the caliber of food and cost per person ($85). It's a must go if you can get a reservation while in Lisbon. Restaurant delivers a multi course meal that is grounded in Portuguese flavors but also explores European and Asian profiles. The setting is an 8 person table where you meet the other guests which I found refreshing and memorable.

What a great expierence and a marvellous story of the two owners/chefs. 8 people enjoying a splendid dinner at one table, with extraoordinary dishes purely made from local & seasonal products, complemented with a stunning wine selection of small vinyards. What a lovely dining experience at Âmago. Marta and André warmly invite you in to their special dinner party in an intimate space off a quiet street. It was a joy to hear of their history and how their restaurant came to be. The flavors of each dish were tasty and unique—the kimchi mango tart bite was one of the best of our trip. We were their last service before their wedding, so congratulations on love. We look forward to returning and trying that ice cream (someday)!

This is the first time I’m leaving a google review. Âmago is a must experience when in Lisbon. As a local, I’m proud to have a dining experience like this that I can impress my friends and visitors with. Chef André and Marta make it look so easy but as a two-person team, it’s quite magical what they do every evening. And I’ve dined at quite a few top restaurants in the world to know what goes on behind the scenes. This team is on top of their game. As soon as you enter, you feel like you’re in someone’s home for dinner (single dining table). But unlike a home cooked meal, the meal that you’re about to have might make your question everything you know about locally sourced, Portuguese food. The wine selection is impeccable. The presentation is wildly impressive - no idea how Chef Marta can have a full conversation and plate like that at the same time! Anyway, I booked my second night with them before my meal was even over. So that’s saying something. Can’t wait for round two!

Delicious 30th birthday celebration with friends. Every course was amazing but my favourites were the fish (the best I've had) and the snacks. Great wine pairings and knowledgeable and warm hosts. I was traveling in Portugal for 8 days and my highlight by far was my visit to âmago. It was super familiar, a cozy ambience and an unforgettable culinary experience. I will come again at any time! 10 out of 10!

I was here yesterday with my wife. It was the first experience of such a form for us. There were 8 people at the table, a very pleasant company, the atmosphere was very warm and not pretentious at all. The food was amazing and literally the most delicious we have ever had in our lives! We will definitely come here again and bring all our friends with us!
