We had a fantastic time during our stay, with incredible hosts and amazing food! The service was fantastic and the history of the hacienda was fascinating. Lots of places nearby to explore also, with some nice hikes and rivers to check out. From relaxing by the pool to breakfast at the bar with a great view, I wish I could have stayed for weeks! Thank you to all those that made our stay magical, I can’t wait to come back! Ps. the creamy vege soup was absolutely delicious!!!

Lovely old (circa 1648) estancia just to the south of the village of Camargo. The rooms are arranged around a central courtyard while around the outside of the building there are lovely flower bedecked terraces with views to the farmland and mountains beyond. The room we had was large, with a comfortable bed and en suite shower. There are some of the usual Latin American eccentricities like poorly fitting doors and not much in the way of curtains, but that's just the way it is. Dinner was delicious, using produce from the farm. I can highly recommend the vegetable soup, but beware the portions are huge. After dinner we were given a tour of some of the family's private rooms, which was interesting, especially given their long history with the building. Fabiana was a super host (and her excellent English was a bonus), with an infectious enthusiasm for both the farm and the surrounding area, which is perhaps less visited than it should be. Highly recommended.
