Had a lovely christmas eve meal, staff were friendly, food was delicious, cocktails were AMAZING!! There is something on the menu for everyone (however id recommend the lemon posset for dessert, it's delightful)

A lovely pub, staff were very accommodating and helpful. We had 2 roast dinners and ordered food for our Dog from their doggy menu. Food was fantastic. We would definitely go back.

I have been a regular since 1977. It was originally called the Rising Sun. The name Belvedere was first used in the 70's when it was an upmarket 'gangsters' club. Officially a posh restaurant. It became a night club in 1977 and was the place to go. Even the doorman had an amazing history. Ken had been a driver for the Krays, no one argued with him when time to leave... In recent time it has gone back to being a 'pub'. It is a gastro pub with a varied menu and lots of seating inside and out. It still has regular pub goers and is just the perfect place to have a Pimms after a visit to the Polo at Smith's Lawn. Great place to find sunshine and cooling shade under the magnificent willows. Enoy!

Popped in for lunch today after a long walk around Virginia Water. Excellent fish and chips for starter and the chocolate bomb for dessert was amazing. Definitely worth the money. Inside of the restaurant has been done up very well and much better than it used to be. Highly recommend a visit.

Always such a friendly greeting from all the staff. Service is good and helpful and not intrusive. Freshly cooked food that arrived at the same time for all seven of us even when we had all ordered different dishes. Everyone loved their meal and desserts. Drinks were served exactly how we liked them. Live music too! A great evening out.

Went for a late lunch after working at Ascot racecourse, this place wasn't far down the road. The pub/ restaurant has tasty food and a good tap selection. All the staff are super polite/ friendly and were very helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone if you are in the area. It has lots of parking and a fair sized garden at the front.

Lovely venue, spacious and well designed, the service was very friendly however it felt the staff were either all new or needed some more training. We waited quite a while at the waiting area when it was completely quiet on a week day afternoon before I finally managed to flag down 1 of 3 waitresses to get a table. She had to ask her manager where we could be seated in the 90% empty venue which was a bit odd. Sadly the ordering experience was not much better and of our meals was missed so we had to wait for it and I ended up going to get condiments from the bar (like a Wetherspoons I guess) as it we were tired of waiting for it. The food was good, but price to value it didn’t feel worth it especially with the other issues mentioned. I hope this review does get read by management as I think with the service fixed it’ll be a 5 star restaurant.

Great visit for a Sunday afternoon catch-up with friends. Very friendly staff and food was on a very good level. London Pride on cask.

Went in as a walking group of 12. Nicole arranged our booking and was very understanding. Good food, promptly served and Luca did an excellent job of sorting out our individual bills. We’ll go again.

We just had Christmas lunch here today. I chose this venue due to previous visits being very enjoyable. Sadly it was disappointing from start to finish. We arrived 5 minutes before our reservation and were told to wait max 5mins whilst they prepare our table. We then were taken to a table in the bar! I told the lady that I had booked a table in the restaurant, she advised that if I wanted that table I would need to wait 15 mins maybe more as the previous guests were still eating. This was quite annoying and not really my problem....they really should be more organised and maybe if they have booked seatings every two hours they need to inform the guests at the beginning then maybe 20 minutes before the table needs to be vacated so that the next guests are not sat waiting. I was also quite annoyed that we were taken to the table in the bar in hope that we would not notice.! It was only because I mentioned I had booked a restaurant table that we were told to wait. Very poor organisation and poor service! Customers should simply get what they have booked and not given something else in hope that they don't notice! When we got to the table it was just awful! The only sign of Christmas was two crackers...I noticed that some of the tables had Christmas runners and looked more festive. They should have done the same for all tables. I've been to normal pubs where it is more festive and inviting. The table was not clean. We had to wait for ages to get a wine list which when arrived was dirty and sticky. We finally received our started which was basic, the main was ok but no stuffing and a tiny amount of gravy. I saw some tables with a nice bread basket but we were just given two small pieces of toasted bread. Then to complete the disastrous Christmas lunch my dessert arrived and the presentation was so poor! I wouldn't serve this at home. The meal was expensive and the whole experience was disappointing. I will not be visiting this pub again and especially not for Christmas....they really need to smarten up the staff, the presentation of the food and the table decorations. Disappointed that I booked here, next year I will go to one of the hotels.

Siblings and I attended for their bottomless brunch. I was nervous that the service would be slow and wouldn’t get our moneys worth but Luca proved us wrong! Luca was wonderful and super accommodating. He kept his eye on us all afternoon especially that we were the only ones it seemed doing “bottomless bubbles”. The food was delicious. 34.95 with a 2 course menu that included prawns as a starter and main for us seemed extremely generous. Highly recommend. Thank you Luca for a wonderful afternoon

It was a real pleasure to come back to this wonderful place, enjoying our incredible lunch among nice staff, very good service, and admire the central fireplace, which brought Christmas's warm atmosphere earlier. Loved the new look of the pub. You won’t regret trying it!🤩

We came for a Sunday roast and the duo of beef was divine. Lovely to pair with a walk around Virgina Water. Usually scallops are my favourite but I wasn't keen on the accompaniments.

The food here is lovely. A tad towards the pricey side but this is expected for the outskirts of Ascot and a venue that takes pride in its menu as well as the ambience. Great place for a special occasion.

Fantastic location, great atmosphere, great service and lovely food. My boys have declared the dirty burger the ‘best burger in the world’! We often walk around Virgina Water and then grab lunch. It’s our favourite place.

Lovely location with great access to the park for a walk. The food was average nothing special, we were surprised at the "billionaire fries" see photo attached. Not exactly what you would expect personally

The service was excellent! We arrived a little bit early for our reservation and was shown to our table without any issues at all! The food was outstanding the best roast dinner we've had for a very long time.

We had a 3-course dinner in Belvedere Arms on New Year's day. I was blown away by how delicious and we presented the dishes were. The chef deserves a lot of credit for his work. Service was impeccable with friendy and attentive staff. Our waitress, Maria, was really great. All in all, it was one of the best experiences we had with eating out post-Covid.

Great place for Sunday lunch. Food was spot on - good selection and excellent quality. Friendly attentive staff - thank you to Olivia & Maria. Lovely warm surroundings and relaxed atmosphere. We’ll be back! Recommended.

We had a lovely dinner at the Belvedere Arms. I had requested a table by the fireplace and when we arrived they seated us right next to it. All of the food was good for pub food. If you are in the area it is worth a visit but you don’t need to go out of your way. Our server Olivia was attentive and made our evening delightful!

Fantastic place for a drink and quality food. Staff are polite and professional, incredibly hard working and appear to be managed well. Even better is they are dog friendly which is perfect for us. We will be visiting a lot more!

I visited yesterday with a few of my friends. Had a G and T, the duck parfait and the general manager Nicole who we exchanged a few words with recommended the beef roast. The food and drinks were awesome but the service was immaculate. Special thanks to Dan and Kieron who took care of us throughout our visit. Will definitely be back. I am beyond impressed!!

Great food, drinks and service. Child friendly Nice location near to Virginia Water park. Big car park. Felt a bit empty but that’s probably due to the social distancing. Keen to go back when it’s back to normal :)

Am so sorry, that first review of 1 star was a mistake. Think my phone was accidentally pressed only realised when I received the notification. I genuinely enjoyed my time and the food was lovely. Your staff are well manned and friendly with a warm smile and very helpful... It's A+++ from me.

Absolutely stunning food and service. Really enjoyed all aspects of our meal. We are new to the area and this place came highly recommended to us. All I can say is we we’re definitely not disappointed. We were served by the wonderful manager Nicole who recommended the pork belly and scallops which was absolutely delicious. She made us feel very warm and welcome even though it was very busy on the bank holiday weekend and we didn’t book. I cannot wait to come back!

Lovely meal. Nice quiet location. Service quick and polite waiters. Food came piping hot. Seated and served at our table. Social distancing and face masks worn by staff and us as we entered. Hand sanitisation areas at entrance. Really enjoyed the evening and yummy food. Thanks will come again.

Fantastic lunch over the weekend at The Belvedere Arms. My wife and I took our daughter and her small dog for a bite to eat. The service was great, had a very smiley waiting team who couldn’t do enough for us. The food & drinks selections were vast, and everything arrived as you’d expect at a very fast pace considering how busy they were. My daughter and I had the Dirty burger which was lovely, and my Wife had a Nourish bowl which she enjoyed greatly. We are coming back in a few weeks and I already know what I’m going for!! Thanks again to the team at the Belvedere

After traipsing round the area for over 45 minutes looking for a pub we had been to before, we found the Belvedere and decided to try it. Very pleasantly rewarded by fabulous 21 day aged roast beef and all the trimmings. Following that was a fantastic choice of naughty desserts. We fell for the smaller version of fruit crumble with a coffee. The service was excellent and friendly. Would definitely return.

Lovely outdoor setting. A good roast, could do with more gravy. I would happily come again.

Lovely pub, outside area is spacious and there are always plenty of places to sit. Inside seating is very nice, not too close to other tables. Staff are very welcoming and friendly. Food is excellent, good quality and tasty. Attached photos from recent visits. Service is excellent, Helen is absolutely lovely, very attentive, nothing is too-much trouble.

So happy i popped in here. Thank you Zoe and Daisy for your amazing service. Which could not be any better than that. So, I will be coming back. The chef made a delicious dirty burger which I demolished and I topped it all off with a cheesecake.

We had a really nice Sunday roasts and puddings. Child and dog friendly. Car park was full and had to wait until a car left before we could park. Obviously very popular for Sunday lunch.

Had a lovely evening at Belvedere Arms, it was our first time there. Sat outside and enjoyed the live music. Tom our waiter was very friendly and the food was amazing. Ordered a few dishes from the “small plates” menu and sides. Everything was delicious. Husband would have liked a greater selection of ales but was happy with the London Pride that he got. All in all, would definitely go back in future.

One of those Mitchells and Butlers pubs, their menus are all similar and their wine lists are almost identical. Location is good because of the area. Food is as good as other Mitchells and Butlers pubs I have been to. Service is ok, friendly enough but under staffed. Food 8/10, service 7/10, ambience 7/10, value for money 8/10.

Lovely food and friendly staff, just unfortunately let down by a rude member of the front of house staff. Really reasonably priced and delicious sunday roast.

My daughter and I had a fantastic time, especially thanks to Zoe, our waitress who was extremely friendly and professional. Definitely recommend. The kids menu has lots to choose from, and my daughter was especially impressed with the pasta. I had the plant based burger which was fantastic. I would strongly recommend the chocolate bomb, probably one of the best desserts I have enjoyed in a long time. Well done to all the staff.

First time visiting this lovely pub. We were served by Maria and the food and service was exceptional. The pizza in particular was outstanding! Will definitely visit again. On a date night, next time. Our 13 year old will be jealous if we go without her though, the plant based burger she ordered and demolished was delicious. Thank you Maria for paying attention to my cocktail preferences. My cocktail was so very good. Thanks all. 😊
