We
visited
on
a
Friday
night
a
couple
of
weeks
ago
for
a
relaxed
Friday
night
meal
and
a
drink.
Having
not
checked
out
the
menu
beforehand,
we
were
very
pleasantly
surprised
to
find
that
we
could
order
burgers
for
just
£5,
even
on
a
Friday
evening!
Given
that
we’re
vegetarian,
we
were
also
very
pleased
to
see
we
still
had
some
good
options.
For
drinks,
we
had
a
couple
of
cocktails
-
my
wife
had
a
“Purple
Rain”
and
I
had
a
“Godfather”.
These
were
very
well
priced
also
at
two
for
£8,
which
is
again
very
good
value
for
a
Friday
evening.
We
sat
in
the
eating
area
towards
the
back
of
the
pub
where
it
was
relatively
quiet
and
comfortable.
The
place
could
probably
do
with
a
good
clean
or
refurbishment
though,
or
that
area
at
least.
We
ordered
a
halloumi
burger
and
the
“Moving
Mountains”
burger
to
share,
and
got
both
of
these
for
just
£5
each
which
was
brilliant.
Both
burgers
were
really
good,
and
were
served
incredibly
quickly
as
well.
The
Moving
Mountains
burger
is
tasty,
but
still
doesn’t
beat
the
“Beyond
Meat”
burgers!!
There
was
a
bit
of
a
wait
for
the
drinks,
but
they
did
bring
these
to
the
table
which
was
nice.
The
only
downside
with
the
food
was
the
very
small
amount
of
chips
we
were
given,
which
made
half
of
the
plate
look
very
sparse!
If
we’d
known
that
was
going
to
be
the
case,
we’d
have
happily
paid
a
little
more
for
an
extra
portion
between
us.
All
in
all,
this
was
a
really
good
meal
considering
how
low
the
cost
was,
and
we’d
definitely
look
at
going
back
in
future.
