If you are looking at the building from the outside, you would not know that there are so many stores, cinemas, and restaurants in the building. It's a nice place to be at Redditch. All the major retail shops are in there. Shops like Primark, Tk max, Wilko, Superdrug, etc.

Calmer than most shopping centres. Has most of the shops that you need. All round great experience. Cheap parking is a bonus. Highly recommended if you’re in the area and environs

Only went to the Vue cinema so cannot comment on the Kingfisher centre. Parked in car park 1, which is narrow parking bays on all floors. Only two operating lifts that we found so very long wait until they come. On the floor you exit for the cinema, it is very dark paint and could do with a refresh. Car parking charge not too bad, did pay via a QR code as couldn't find any machines to pay. If people don't have a smartphone, you could struggle.

Nice mall at the heart of redditch. Has plenty of shopping places and some nice coffee shops.

This centre is constantly changing!!! For a while it used to feel like just phone shops, then card shops then coffee shops!! For a while we had a great selection of department stores and various smaller treasures, now they have all either moved out again or gone out of business. It is still a bonus being able to stay local, but we must try harder to keep better brands and support small businesses. Centre management should be supporting subsidised rents for locals and keeping services in the centre instead of outside retail parks.

Strange shape as I feel like I was walking round the same bit! Security guy was helpful as there was no directory and we don't live here so had no idea where stuff was! Found the cinema and McDonald's so that was good! Nice clean place, no hassle with other customers so it was a good experience. Love the app for parking and the contactless payment machines, im all for reducing paper waste! Fast and responsive were the pay machines but better signage saying the car park reference number would be handy and bigger signs showing exit would be useful! But other than that a nice car park!

I visit the centre regularly. I'm getting fed up with the volume of the music on the tannoy which in places is too loud. Also drivers ignoring road signs in car park 2 and driving against directions. Dangerous for pedestrians and other drivers. There doesn't appear to be anyone checking the way cars are parked either. Upkeep of the car park is poor. It's starting to get very busy especially at weekends. That's when I will be avoiding and going elsewhere.

I recently explored this impressive shopping mall, and it truly had everything I needed. The vast selection of shops catered to every taste and preference, from fashion and electronics to home goods and entertainment. Navigating through the mall was a breeze, thanks to clear signage and spacious walkways. The mall also boasted a diverse range of dining options, allowing for a delightful culinary experience. With its extensive offerings and convenient layout, this shopping mall provided a one-stop destination for all my shopping needs.

Used to go here once a week but sadly its not what it used to be, shops disappearing but that's the sign of the times I think, what shops are left are decent though, a big Next, lots of coffee shops, eateries, Big New look, the usual really. Always looks clean, bright and airy 👍

Not brilliant. Such a pity we have lost so many good shops that bought customers into the centre. Maybe if the rents were lowered the owners of the centre would be able to fill all the empty units. Because before long it's probably going to become a ghost town. It is getting to the point where a lot of people are travelling to other places such as Stratford, Birmingham and Worcester to get the shopping experience they want.

Took my mother shopping here who relies on her Walker. I went to car park 4 with her blue badge as I find this quieter than 2 and right on the level to shop she needed. Parking rates are decent too

Its not bad for a local shopping centre and has an ok range of shops however a lot of shops have been lost over covid/lockdown times and theres a lot less choice there now. It does seem to be picking back up though and has a big primark, boots ,tk maxx, wilko, sports direct, JD sports, starbucks, next and range so fairly decent range of shops.

Mall is OK, i didn't like the car park, such a mess and very confusing. They still use the old plastic coin system so I dred to think how easily covid can spread using those coins. No one is wearing masks in the mall so my pregnant wife felt unsafe. We use to like this mall but not so much these days.

Always enjoy visiting the kingfisher centre as its nice to be indoors while shopping. Plenty of shops to find what you need but not too big or too busy to walk around. Lots of nice places to eat and nice clean toilets available which also have good accessibility for families, baby change rooms and disability access.

Decline in orogress after covid Rents may be too high and the advent of out of town stores doesn't help. But clean and well maintained

This is still a great place to visit for shopping. Decent range of shops, plenty of places for food & drink and toilets are clean. There are a few empty shops which isn’t surprising as it’s like everywhere else and hope these are occupied again soon. It’s was clean and atmosphere was relaxed.

Excellent shopping mall in Redditch. All undercover Ample parking ,pay before leaving, easy to do by machines. Good places to eat and refreshments. Good Primark and TKmax. Excellent gift and card shops too. Good toilet facilities too.

Not enough stores in the centre. Too many coffee & phone shops. People will start using alternative shopping centres. I dont see the point in renovating the appearance of the Kingfisher Shopping Centre from the railway station when there's no decent shops in the place. Redditch will end up being a ghost town.

Had a very enjoyable day here, under cover from the pouring rain in the multi storey car park. There are lots of different stores & we had a lovely coffee & lunch at the main Costa. Great day out!

I would like to say a massive thank you to the help desk staff at Kingfisher centre for helping me find my lost car keys. I was in such a panic and they helped me in everyway possible. You are all so kind and helpful, thanks again!

A great place to shop for everyone. There is a wide range of shops for all your needs. There are lots of places to park and all the shops are under one roof. There is also a vue cinema and many places to eat, drink and have a coffee. There are a few shops just outside the centre and a few more places to eat and drink. The centre is right by the train station bus station.

OMG! Absolutely GINORMOUS! Certainly recommend putting aside a whole day if going for the first time. Most of the shops I use (and there were many), are rather larger than you would think they could be, so I'm going to go for at least half a day on my next visit

  • 3/5 Steven G. 3 months ago on Google New
It's ok it needs more choice of shops for a center this size you would think you would be able to find anything that you require it's not the case

  • 3/5 Alan M. 5 months ago on Google
At a time when shopkeepers are struggling for business, and shoppers are watching their pennies, free parking would be a boost to everyone, except perhaps the Kingfisher centre management company. If they must charge for parking to prevent abuse by non-shoppers, perhaps offering it free for those who spend a certain amount, such as £5 or £10, in one of the centre shops, would help the centre's tenants and shoppers alike. Paid parking is otherwise a deterrent for shoppers.

Vision Express by name and nature…….!❤️ My recent visit to ‘Vision Express’ in the Kingfisher Centre, Redditch was filled with a pleasant experience from beginning to end. Upon booking my appointment the staff member was both attentive and engaging. The young lady sourced my records swiftly and stated I wasn’t due another test until January 24. However, when I mentioned that I’d been having blurred vision in one eye she said let’s get you in ASAP. Having arrived on the examination day, I was warmly received and opted for a deeper more exploratory examination, for a small fee. This involved taking images behind the eyes which could identify any underling health issues. Three skilled individuals separately used sophisticated machinery to evaluate, via X-rays, that there were anomalies they were not pleased with. With all my questions answered, I left clutching my new eye prescription with possible costings and a assurance that I’d be contacted within a few days as a result of their referral, with an appointment at the eye unit at Kidderminster hospital. Vision express lived up to their name. They showed empathy, concern and diligence. Their well trained staff expressed themselves in two key ways ! Firstly, listening and acting accordingly. Secondly, activating a super quick appointment at ‘Express’ speed. I highly recommend this company and have done so to both family, colleagues and friends. Tony Mclarty.

Good for essential bits, mostly mainstream shops, as this is redditchs 'high street' wish there were some more independent shops. It has lost its main store which was Debenhams and no sign of a replacement. Handy cinema with a few restaurants at one end of the centre. Good parking and reasonable charge and felt safe, used car park 2 but multiple choices.

Huge shopping centre with plenty of choices in shops! Toilet and car park facilities. Car parking relatively cheap in comparison to others shopping centres I have been to. Could do with arrows on the floor or more signs as it is easy to get lost in the centre!

A good shopping center with plenty off outlets on site-it has an adequate carpark toilets and is situated above a bus terminus and the railway station is just over the road with a pedestrian crossing there's lifts for the disabled

Many shops closed, many remaining are little tatty junk shops. Hasn't been decorated since I can remember. Serious investment is required in this center.

  • 3/5 Sunny J. 2 years ago on Google
Solid 3 stars. Easily accessible and some good shops. To be blunt and quite Frank about it, there generally needs to be more different shops (too much coffee/tea, Food, Phone shops, there all very similar and very bland. I prefer shopping elsewhere.

Good shoping options. Covers most areas that you may want to look in. Some space for local market style tables. Can be busy but there are plenty of food places to duck into to get out the way for a bit.

Huge shopping centre in the middle of this small town, parking was £1.50 for two hours. Plenty of shops and very pleasant staff, the centre was not too crowded and easy to navigate.

Not a shadow of its former success when the centre was vibrant. I had a walk round and was disappointed with the number of closed businesses. Hopefully, a forward-thinking manager can make a difference.

Lots of shops and places to get a hot drink. Had no idea but there are mosaics on the walls done by some famous fella who is such a titan of the arts that I can't remember his name. Anyway, they're cool.

Shopping centre is getting emptier every week . Shops closing down . Rent should be cheaper to get the shops filled. Better to get some rent than have empty shops.

Quite a big shopping centre we went on a Saturday which was quite pleasant as wasent that busy, the only problem was finding the toilets as not very clearly sign posted so in the end we had to ask several people, the lady's toilets were pleasant & fresh smelling. Plenty of choice for food places, had your main shops plus they have a large primark so big bonus.

This place is brilliant even if they have got rid of the palm trees ( no one under forty will know what I'm going on about!) 😚. Loads of great shops and coffee places. Parking is easy and well priced. Toilets, cash machines and sanitizer stations are all available for those that need them. Well worth a visit.

I'm put off by the smoking outside the main doors. It's a big turn off it really is. Why not make it a smoke free ZONE? need more shops aimed for young people, fashion etc. Always clean and the toilets are spotless

Let's face it the High St is struggling these days, lots of empty units. Fave places there are the range, coffee 1, tk max & waterstone's. Paying for carpark was a nightmare, cash only & we dont carry, as most places use ring go... had to find a cash point draw cash for the machine to then refuse the £10 note!... can we please enter the current century & offer card payments...

  • 1/5 Natalie C. 2 years ago on Google
Would of been ok if they hadn't got rid of the disks for parking as some elderly was struggling to remember their registrations. Also the only 1 machine for cash payments isn't giving change. So making 50p per customer if they only had pound coins. 😡

It's a lovely clean place . Lots to choose from . BUT if you need to hire a wheel chair for a loved one you need all forms of ID so be prepared. I couldn't get one so my poor mother had to struggle .

It is a shame that Debenhams, Bodyshop and Marks and Spencer have vacated the centre. It has made a difference to the number of times I shop there. There seems less customers there now but that might also be due to Covid. A supermarket in the centre would make an big difference. I think it would attract more customers. There is still a reasonable selection if shops, including Humphries which has an excellent range of shoes from many different quality companies.

  • 5/5 Vicky B. 2 years ago on Google
This shopping centre's got possibly every store and service you could wish for under one roof. Fashion, lifestyle, plenty of health & beauty shops and food places. It's got even more variety and stores than Dudley's Merry Hill Centre.

Straightforward, well-signposted & convenient access by car, bus or rail, with great value car parking as an added bonus making a longer visit both relaxing and enjoyable, unlike many other more expensive city centre shopping centres. There are numerous, well-known big-brand stores to visit without having to leave the warmth & comfort of the Kingfisher Centre. The malls in particular, but all access areas generally too, are kept well lit, clean & comfortable, with plenty of cafes & eating establishments to choose from. The hygenic toilets & discrete Covid-19 hand washing stations, 2m separation signs & circulation floor markings etc. all contribute to an overwhelming sense of relaxation & peace of mind/personal comfort. A most enjoyable day out complimented by the great quality clothes and value for money domestic items that I purchased. The whole experience was thoroughly enjoyable, & I will be paying another visit very soon!

Good shopping Center right in the town Center. Parking is a bit expensive and payment machines are easy to operate and close to the shops. There are some disabled spaces on the same level as the shops, but always very busy. There are spaces on other floors too and the lifts are reliable and clean. (Best shop - Coffee 1)

  • 4/5 wackymarek H. 1 year ago on Google
We use it regular for the cinema which is good enough but half price compared to Stratford and when you ave a five year old son a cinema visit can easily end up costing you and your wife £50 plus.🤣🤣

I wouldn't say I like shopping centres at the best of times, but I was at a loose end in Redditch, and it was an excellent place to waste time. I visited both Costas, Boots, Vue, and a few other shops to browse. It's a strange layout in the building; it's not well designed for shopping, but it attracts plenty of people. If you live in the area, it's probably welcomed, but for me, it was merely a good spot for free wifi to watch Netflix and drink coffee!

  • 2/5 Scarlett S. 2 years ago on Google
The car park is ridiculous and needs to be sign posted properly. I actually got stuck in there for 20 mins and had a full blown anxiety attack. Sort it out. The centre itself is great 5 stars but that car park is a joke

  • 4/5 Nicola G. 2 years ago on Google
Love this small shopping centre but feel its now lacking people . Think people need to return to shopping there some great shops and great food places to grab lunch as we as cinema all under one roof , With coffee shops too . Staff in shops in Redditch come across all very polite , cheerful and willing to help .

The centre is clean and well kept, unfortunately it seems to be dying on its feet. All major retailers are either closing down or moving elsewhere. Wilko's will be closing, how long until the next one. Are the rents and rates to high? All town centre are struggling due to online and out of town shopping centres. Soon there will not be anywhere where we can see before you buy.

  • 4/5 Emma F. 2 years ago on Google
Lifts mostly out of service so bit crowded in lifts and people ignoring signs to use one family at a time. I waited for a quieter lift. Signs need to be clearer on levels too as we are always getting lost - I.e when you arrive at the US level could do with putt cinema level etc…

  • 4/5 Tee 2 years ago on Google
Good variety of shops, some more wheelchair accessible than others. Disabled parking available in a car park that has a lift that takes you straight to the shops. The centre was clean and tidy and quite a few staff dotted about to help with queries. Toilet facilities were decent. It was fairly busy but we were able to freely go wherever we chose. I imagine this is different during weekends and leading up to Christmas. Very easy reach of public transport with a train station a stones throw away from the centre and a bus station directly underneath. The town centre is just outside the centre. Pleasurable shopping experience. Will definitely go again to look round at more of the centre and possibly the town

  • 4/5 David C. 2 years ago on Google
A lovely clean indoor shopping centre, looked fairly new and a very helpful Kingfisher member of staff helped us as we were new to the area. Highly recommendable with plenty of nice shops including three charity shops. We walked from our hotel Abbey to the shopping centre which took approximately 55 minutes via a housing estate. It was a good walk which plenty to look at on route. Would definitely re-visit this shopping centre.

A good local shopping centre ,clean with a variety of shopping opportunities (theropy) In addition there are numerous coffee shops and food outlets together with a cinema and banking .The parking is excellent with disability facilities and scooter hire I assume .With direct access into the centre. I have used this centre since the early 1970s when it opened ,sadly I miss the palm trees 🌴 now a coffee and snack bar Times change and floor area use also change. A great place under cover to experience some retail therapy.
