Lovely walk along the river beautiful scenery only marred by the few selfish dog owners that feel they are not obligated to pick up their own dog's mess.

Lovely place for a walk or a run, or maybe a bike ride! Riverside walk stretches past on either side. Free parking available. Nature reserve with access to Sandhurst Memorial Park, playing fields, play area and cafe.

Cycle through on a regular basis as I live close by, usually stop to either watch the cows in the adjacent field or the wildlife, very relaxing when not too busy.

Nice to walk, take about 1 hour plus to walk around. Winter season. 👍

Good place to walk dogs, cycle, see the river. Some paths are well surfaced, some are wet / muddy. Update - paths good in dry weather, the nettles have grown well ... Saw a young dear there today (thankfully the dogs didn't)

A great place to go for a walk with children, dogs or bicycles. Cows are in one paddock on a seasonal basis.

Spacious grass and wooded area with a variety of paths popular with casual and dog walkers. Several parking areas with benches scattered around. Large pond for ducks and others close to play area and cafe towards sandhurst. Close to Meadows if you want to avoid the shopping trip!

Wearing walking boots at the moment (April). The ground gets very boggy during rainy season. There aren't clear walking paths so be prepared for some slippy slidey moments. Parking is free, though, and your dog will enjoy the area. Ditches are full of water, but it's not flowing water and a little stagnant so don't let your dog enter it.

Nice gentle walk. Stretch of river always adds interest to any place

Nice for a walk but can be very wet if the river level is high
