The best place to take kids for Christmas to see Father Christmas and enjoy a whole day of activities. We went for the first time and it was magical. Half of the experience consist of played interactive shows for the kids and second half you get to spend 1.5h in the Christmas village with shops and ice skating ring. Food at the village is surprisingly good for a fast food type with tasty pizza, burgers and hot dogs. At the end you're taken to see Father Christmas. We will be back next year! :)

We've just got back from a family evening out and the children LOVED it. It is a little early to be in the Christmas spirit but after school in November was £79 a ticket - much cheaper than closer to Christmas when booking for a family of five. On arrival we were shown to the parking space. We were worried about the number of people there given how packed the car park was but everybody is at different stages of the visit. The acts were great and the staff were amazingly cheery given how many times a day they must be repeating the acts. Being there in the dark made it extra magical and everything is timed to reduce numbers in one place at one time. We had a 15 minutes wait to see the main man which wasn't too bad. I suspect they have an army of them to get everybody through their visits quickly. The toy made was a wooden bear, this was turned into a cuddly bear using magic and given to an adult discreetly when picking up the photo. Tips - 1) Covid tests - do a lateral flow within 72 hours and get the results recorded on the app. They don't accept actual LFT result sticks. You can provide proof of double jab instead but I'm not sure what point that is as you can still have / transmit Covid. Should you forget all of this you can just fill out your details on a piece of paper instead but this can result in a bit of a queue to get in. 2) It can take a while to get parked and walk to the entrance and the act starts before you go through the door to start your session so get there with plenty of time to spare. 3) Don't worry about buying jingles in advance, you can get them at the post office and the food place / shops took cards anyway. (If purchased, 'Jingles' were just loaded onto a cardboard coin with a barcode.) 4) One photo was free and this includes the digital download. We paid £25 for a book of four. 5) It's an amazing day out but I would only do it once. To get the most out of it wait until children can used the ice rink. Ours were 8 and 6 - the 6 year old didn't question anything but the 8 year olds insisted the snow wasn't real etc. They still loved the day out though. 6) Don't take children in the bauble shop as we heard a lot of smashing going on while we were there! Lastly, embrace it, the magic only works if the 'big folk' go along with it too.

After booking tickets back in March, the wait was over. We managed to get to Lapland slightly earlier than expected but had no issues on arrival. There was plenty of parking although slightly muddy. After unpacking the kids, it was a short walk through the forest to the entrance. Our allotted time was 12 and we were there slightly before 11:30 so decided to have a hot chocolate before going in. At this point it went slightly downhill as we had to wait for our drinks although we had ordered them before other people that were there. At this point we felt quite rushed as we couldn't enjoy our drinks and were too hot for the kids to enjoy. We entered the main area where we were split into 2 groups: the reindeers and the huskies. We then went through to the first section which was a bit of wasted time. The next section we entered the toy factory where the kids were able to make a bunny. They then went to Mrs Christmas kitchen where they decorated gingerbread men. They could take it home or demolish the biscuits there. Once we were done in the kitchen we entered the Elves village. In the village you had the opportunity to ice skate, write and post a letter to Santa, grab a bit to eat or buy something from the shops. The negative about the Elves village was that we were not given enough time to enjoy it with the kids and felt rushed. By the time we went round the ice rink, we had to quickly visit the other sections before it was our time to queue for Santa with no time to be able to eat anything. While queuing to see Santa, there were various areas and opportunities to take photos including seeing the reindeer. Once we got to the Santa section, our kids names where called out and we followed the allocated elf to meet the big man. At this point, the kids were super excited and even received a gift. Once we finished it was time to walk back to the main hall to buy the photos taken and visit the gift shop before exiting back to the car park. Overall, it was a very good experience for the family that you should do once. The kids enjoyed it and the activities were fun for them not to be bored. I would have expected a bit more time to look around and maybe a cafe at the end just to be able to grab a bite before going home. Also for the price paid (over £630 for 5 of us), I would have expected at least a free drink for the adults. I don't see it as an annual thing, for us anyway, but would recommend going at least once.

Truly magical! The attention to detail was just incredible - every costume, set and tiny corner of the experience was just perfect! Of course the staff & actors completely made the experience - every single one was perfect! Worth every penny & more! Made for the most perfect Christmas Eve!

Beautiful attraction and feels very magical. Actors/ actresses are really good and are clearly passionate about their job. Parking can be difficult and there is a bit of a long wait between last activity and meeting Santa which can be difficult to entertain small children. Food seating area is also a little small and hard to get a table.

They did this so well and would recommend you book for next year. Read the website to see what you get. Don't expect the world though, yes it's expensive but in my opinion well worth it. Both big and small people had fun 😀 Reading about the wait for Santa on other reviews, I think we waited no more than 15 minutes. Maybe they had an issue on one day but for us it was fine.

This place is amazing! You must buy tickets in March, follow their instagram for a release date. They get booked quickly, I was in the queue for hours. It’s worth it! The tickets are expensive. Go during the school day if you can, less people & cheaper. Parking is available & free. Well organised. You enter, kids get special passports. Loads of different activities. There’s a village with ice skating & food, you get to eat here but you don’t have much time to see shops & to make the best of it, as you get 1.5 hour for the village, after you have done the activities. Food is fairly expensive but edible. Once you leave the village, you get to see Santa - who’s amazing, the best Santa yet. He hands over a toy - husky, but it changes. You then go through the shop & at the end you are given a special Xmas gift = soft toy rabbit to put secretly under the Xmas tree. It’s magical, kids couldn’t believe it on Christmas Day. Lovely experience. Definitely worth the money. My kids were 7&11, I would have preferred 6&10 but I wouldn’t bring 2/3 year olds, it’s too much walking & they get fed up/knackered. Personally I think older kids enjoy it more. Parents have loved it too. It does get muddy, bring wellies if wet & leave clean shoes in the car. Enjoy!

What a great place to visit !!!!! My partner booked for us and our 8 year old daughter as a birthday treat.. the standard of acting of all the characters was brilliant. Food and drink was on the high side but was expected. Ice-skating was good until i fell on my bum... we travelled from Shropshire and stayed overnight at Legoland Resort so surprise number 2 overall a great place to visit

I am 24 hours post visit, and can genuinely say hand on heart that I have Lapland UK blues. This was by far the most immersive, magical and spectacular Christmas experience I have ever had the pleasure of witnessing. The actors are incredibly attentive, caring and you can tell all have a wonderful culture instilled into them by the owners and directors of this experience. From toy making to ginger bread decorating, ice skating, posting your unique letter to Santa and meeting the one and only himself your kids will be forever grateful for taking you to Lapland UK and I advise to have your camera ready, as you won’t want to miss a single shot! 🎅🏼

I've wanted to go for years but hadn't been able to for one reason or another. We were finally able to go this year and I couldn't wait, only to come away feeling slightly disappointed with it. My views... ⛄ The theatrical parts, the Toy Factory and Mother Christmas are really good, and the kids enjoyed them, although it did feel a little rushed going through from one part to the next. If I'm being nitpicky I'd probably prefer an extra show or activity in there though as it felt like it was over too quickly. I was just a bit "like, oh, that's it?" as we left Mother Christmas's kitchen. 🎄The sets and scenery look amazing, so much attention to detail. ⛄ The elves were all amazing, they really do give it 100% 🎄 A big downside for me... The paths are absolutely horrible. Trudging through mud really spoils it when you've got the lovely snowy scenery around it which is a real shame when you consider how much effort goes into the rest of the 'set'. You end up focusing more on dodging big muddy puddles than soaking up the fantastic scenery, and I think it ruins the overall aesthetic. There really should be bark down the pathways the same as the village IMO. ⛄ The village was very underwhelming. The ice rink was really busy every time we looked so we didn't even attempt it, overall I thought there was no atmosphere to it and it felt a bit disconnected I guess. I imagine it's probably much better when it gets dark so you've got the impact of the lights, but it didn't feel very magical to us at all However.... The important part... 🎅🏻 Our Father Christmas was absolutely incredible. For me, he was the very epitome of FC. The boys were mesmerised and I actually filled up several times as he interacted with them. My 9 year old 'Santa skeptic' has come away truly believing again! I was really worried about this after seeing some of the early reviews from this year but honestly he was just incredible. Overall though, the place itself didn't live up to the hype of what I'd anticipated from following for the last 4/5 years or so. I do think it's quite overpriced too if I'm being totally honest, especially given that some days/times are £150+ per person. I also don't think it is worth a long journey if you're not close by. We travelled from the North East and I wish we'd made a weekend trip out of and visited some other places, as it was too far to travel for what it was.

A five star experience with attention needed in places We didn't know what to expect really, our friends all had great experiences, but we didn't really know how muddy it would be. Well turns out that we didn't need to worry about the mud. Everything was incredibly well stage managed and flowed incredibly well. At no time did we feel crammed or rushed, and everything was under cover. Remarkable really when you realise that before and after there is no trace of the place and it's just a wonder ful forest. The buildings and stages are all amazing and no attention has been spared in packing the place with furniture and props This experience is a winner and I hope it inspires others on how to do it properly and to make it as magical and enchanting as this. It is expensive, but then I've never ever had an experience as complete as this. It's well worth it and I hope it gets more amazing every year. Some attention to muddy paths is needed. On the whole they were covered well in bark chippings, but there were gaps. The food is average but not great. The pizza we had was not good. Overall 5 stars, but room for tweaks.

We loved it! Yes, it’s expensive but it really is your call on whether or not it’s affordable for your family and circumstances. It was our first time visiting and we found it to be an entirely enchanting experience that everyone from grandparents to children thoroughly enjoyed. I was a little worried that my 10 and 8 year old nieces would perhaps be a little too old for the experience but I couldn’t have been more wrong… they were transported to a magical, Christmas wonderland that they could not stop talking about afterwards. Our family of 8 all found it to be very well organised and it did not feel crowded at any point - this was due to the great organisation from all of the team. All of the staff working there (the elves) were brilliant and stayed in character at all times. We were blown away by the intricacies of the decor and little touches that made it such a special experience. Father Christmas was also excellent and our girls loved the fact that that he knew so much about them… in fact, they were amazed. A few more food options would have been nice in the Elf Village but not a massive issue. All in all, it’s a wonderful day of festive fun for all of the family and certainly one that my family will always remember- thank you Lapland UK!

It's the most magical place. Even I got caught up in all the magic! Attention to detail is incredible. Every single team member including car parking attendees are so polite, helpful and rescue me from my dad's silly comments like "is the snow real" from running my 8 year olds beliefs!

There was a moment towards the end of our visit that summed up the LaplandUK experience perfectly. We had quality time with the big man himself, un-rushed, all set within the thoroughly charming room packed with details and festive magic; directed by the friendly elf to follow the green lights through the magical forest, sweet children merrily clutching early presents of fluffy husky dog toys hand gifted by Santa himself. Turning the final fairy light corner, you enter a new covered space, yet another another shop, filled handily with accessories to buy allowing you to upgrade your child’s brand new toy gift! LaplandUK is absolutely packed with festive spirit and magical experiences for children and, let’s be honest, their big people too. But It’s a fine balance between the festive fun and barefaced hard retail, that, if you’re anything like me, leaned a little to much on the shopping. We’re encouraged before we go to get into the Christmas fable LaplandUK have created, meeting the characters of the story via the invites and the app. During our visit Mother Christmas tells us a tale of husky’s rescuing Santa and the toy makers describe children’s wishes as magical lights. Naturally there’s plenty of opportunity to buy soft toys and costumes of the elves, the hardback husky story book and husky toys, not forgetting a magic wish jar! How could any child not be excited! There are positives, and lots of them. The venue and staging is excellent, we visited as it got dark and the lighting added a super special Christmas feeling. The sets, rooms and stages were all excellently themed throughout, from the entrance hall, through to the oak tree stage, into the winter village and finally Santas house. They all felt authentic and well thought out. The actors too, all bright with enthusiasm and brought excitement to proceedings helping build the story of our magical visit, taking time to chat and have photos with the kids. A character we meet early on in the visit is named Eeko. A rhyming elf who spends time telling guests to be kind and to look out for the forest and our wider environment. I wonder if she should have a word with the marketing team who perhaps miss the irony of both sharing this eco message and pushing the sale of so many plastic based imported toys, costumes and trinkets? Is it magical, yes for sure, but it also feels like a little to much “(enter AND) exit through gift shop” for my taste.

Difficult to put into words how amazing this experience is. The attention to detail is exceptional, the sets, costumes, characters, lighting, you can’t fault it. My daughter had a fantastic time and seeing her excitement made it even more enjoyable.

Been wanting to visit for years and 2023 was our year to travel to this magical place with our 10 year old daughter and 2.5 year old son. What can I say - this place is worth EVERY penny that you pay. For the kids and the adults it's just the most magical attraction & absolutely gets you into the Christmas Spirit! Don't want to go into much detail as I can ruin it for all but if you are hesitant because of the price - don't be. Seeing the kids faces through the whole 4.5 hours we were there was priceless. Food and drink are not overpriced at all! The hot chocolates & Mulled wine is to die for! Thank you Lapland UK for keeping the magic alive!

Excellent day out. We went in the evening and it was magic with all the lights on. The elves are brilliant and the most joyfully creatures you will ever meet. Expensive to get there and expensive when you are there but in my opinion woth it. Our younfest is 7 and maybe next year he will be too old for it but this year he loved it. And the Santa at the end is brilliant! Definitely the real one 😉

📍LaplandUK WOW, what a magnificent day. Magical and inspiring for all the “small folk”. A mystical world of storytelling that fuses the spectacle of a filmset with the performance of theatre, all experienced within the intimacy of our own family. Fantastic time and seeing my youngest daughters excitement made it even more enjoyable. Yes, it’s expensive but it’s worth every penny. From start to finish it was everything we hoped it would be and more! Thank you 📍LaplandUK. 11 November 2023. 🫶🎄

Lapland UK is incredible, not only does it look and feel like the most magical Christmas wonderland but the staff and elves that work there are amazing. Nothing was too much and they took time to engage with my two boys who loved every second. Santa was great (as usual) and he remembered me which was a nice.

Really enjoyed this magical day out, we booked back in march and have been looking forward to it since then. The attention to detail is amazing and the work that goes in to making the magic feel so real is incredible. We took our two kids aged 5 and 9 and they both had an amazing time. When we first arrived we were checked in at the desk by really friendly staff and then taken through the different parts of the tour, we went to a wodland glen first and watched the elves, next to make the toys with the elves and finally to Mrs Claus bakery to decorate biscuits, all these activities are done as a huskies or reindeer group, to be honest they are a bit rushed and we had to spend time explaining to our kids what was going on. After this structured part of the day you get an hour and half in the elven village. In the elven village you can ice skate (skates are available to hire for free). There's food and snacks and hot choclates in the stalls around the village, there's an elf post office for your letter to Santa and a toy and sweet shop to explore. There are also huskies to have photo ops but we found the queue for this too long. The elven village is really beautiful and we would have liked a bit longer to explore there. As with all these kinds of events the food and drinks were expensive. Everyone gets a time slot to see Santa and so we headed down for ours at the correct time, there was a bit of a wait but the queue kept moving and there were lots of stops for photo ops or to see reindeers which kept the kids entertained. The reindeer looked happy and cared for and had a decent size enclosure, allthough I'd say it could have been bigger. Santa claus - I've never seen such a brilliant Santa, he was so friendly and had such a calm and warm presence about him, he used all the memorable information we had provided and blew my kids minds, it was amazing and for all of my family the best part of the day. After Santa there's a shop to buy more toys ( expensive ones at that, just incase you've not quite emptied your bank account) and pick up your printed picture. When getting your pictures you are discreetly handed a toy that your child has made earlier in the day ready to be left from Santa on Christmas morning. I joined this queue for the pictures while my partner distracted the kids choosing a souvenir, I think if you were a solo adult this could be a bit tricky, however the team in the shop are helpful so it wouldn't be a problem. All in all we had an absolutely amazing day, it was beautiful - everywhere you look there is attention to detail and it all feels lovingly put together. It's very expensive, but the kids do get a lot, not just the toy and the bell, but the magic that comes with the whole day. Tickets are a lot of money but I get the production and running costs to keep the experience feeling so 'real'. Both my kids got a toy from Santa when we visited, and the secret toy to put under the tree, we also got a family photo included in the entry price. We found all the staff so friendly and helpful. All in all we left feeling like the kids had had a brilliant experience and that's all we wanted, it turns out magic is real - you just have to pay for it ;) I'd highly recommend going here, even if you only go once your kids will never forget it.

We went on Superstar day and it was the best day! The Elves were so good with our little folk and really made the experience special. We really hope to return again. The work and attention to detail that went into the whole place and the daily events is incredible. Magical memories we will treasure forever.

We had a lovely visit, the actors make the experience amazing. The paths were a bit muddy but we went prepared so it didn’t affect the day. Our boys loved it, they especially enjoyed seeing Santa as he chatted about things in their lives (from the info we provided). The shop was a bit pricey considering how expensive it is to go but where isn’t. It was a very magical 4 hours!

There is no more magical place to take your child/children to visit Father Christmas. It is definitely the DisneyLand of Father Christmas experiences, there is truly nothing like it. Absolutely incredible for both Child and Adult. I cannot recommend this place enough, saying they go the extra mile is an understatement. I cannot wait to visit again later this year with my son. Thank you Lapland UK.

A wonderful experience, lots to see and do. Beautiful settings for both day and night visiting. Nice calming flow through the whole experience with little queuing times for the different areas. Took about 5 hours in total and you feel like you get your money's worth. Overall a great day out. Definitely recommend

EVERYTHING is just as you could hope for with the whole experience. The staging is phenomenonal and the staff are extremely talented and clearly love their jobs. The only downside......the food and drink is expensive and not particularly brilliant so plan to eat before or after the visit.

After reading rewiews had a mixed feelings but can confirm that place is absolutely awesome. Eye to detail make all difference. Excellent organisation. Generally we and kids very happy. Visit to santa brilliant it took long time and it was not rushed. The only thing the shows are little bit boring and hard to follow for smaller kids, shall be maybe less talking and some more actions. Also me personally would not pay the top price ( can't afford). For the price that I paid was woth it but not sure if you paid top price. I like the fact that you will get 2 toys per child , gingerbread and photo included in price.

Absolutely magical! This was our second visit and it was equally magical as the first. The children totally loved every minute. Actors were amazing and engaging and the whole place was beautiful. Organisation was excellent and there was no wait or queue for anything, despite going the week before Christmas. Father Christmas was wonderful and had the children spellbound. I would recommend going as early in the day as possible - we went at 7.30 and it was wonderfully quiet. Couldn’t recommend highly enough.

Worth every penny. Yes, it’s not cheap but, in this case, you get what you pay for. It’s a fantastic Christmas experience, our 6 year old loved it and was utterly convinced the FC was the real deal. Lapland UK do it all very well and with class. All the players are great and it’s really a perfect way to get your family into the spirit leading up to Christmas. Highly recommended. 5 stars.

The journey through Lapland and the stories were great. They tried really hard to create this magical world for the kids and it was appreciated. Never felt rushed or that there were too many people when we went. Ice skating was a fun addition. Got a good amount of time with Santa 🎅 and he played the part brilliantly, giving our son plenty of time to talk to him. Overall, well recommended.

Magical. My 4 year old son was in awe. Right from the start we were made to feel welcome and the staff were fantastic. My son has some Sen issues, he doesn't like really loud noises and struggled at first but then then I was delighted that a staff member playing Cinnamon the elf noticed he was in slight distress and came and spoke to him at length l, it really calmed him down and he was able to really enjoy the rest of the experience. Can't wait to return next year
