Fresh tasty food, such a friendly warm team as well. We visited with a dog and we were allowed to sit indoors, doggie got spoilt with cuddles, a bowl of water and some treats. We had the chicken wings and calamari, burger and a lovely open sandwich. Great portions and really tasty!

The UK sucks for service in bars, restaurants and even basic shops these days in general however, The bear has a good team of staff and in particular a gentleman working there who has been there for a good few years and he has single handedly restored my faith in the UK service sector. His name is Terry and if he’s working in your establishment rest assured that your facility is in good hands. He is super kind, extremely professional and an absolute top notch outstanding guy. The Bears food is also sublime, the chef must also be a legend of sorts. Burgers are top top quality! All the staff are always really friendly and accommodating! Highly recommend to anyone hungry or gasping!

DECEMBER 2023 UPDATE Still amazing - excellent service and delicious food. They were so accommodating in getting our kids' food out early so we didn't have hangry little ones. Whoever thought to offer a melted camembert on the burgers needs a medal! 🤤 MARCH 2023 Had Mothers' Day lunch here with my mum. The roasts were absolutely amazing - great portion sizes, loads of gravy and everything was cooked well. The Biscoff cheesecake was to die for. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great atmosphere too - nicely busy, without being absolutely packed in. Our food arrived pretty quickly. I will definitely be back and highly recommend it.

Stopped for a beer in the sunshine! Very friendly staff, casual, relaxed. Good selection of lagers available on draft. Table next to us had food which looked amazing and there were no left overs so must have been good

only real ale on was the awful Doombar, so had to drink Lager...need to modernise and put some micro brews or some good keg pale beers on.

Great food, decent prices and lovely atmosphere

I booked a table here on a recommendation. But very disappointed. Food nothing special not good value for money .I was not aware the pub had been taken over in December .I looked on Web site to see the food they did not have any of what I wanted on there menu apparently the site still has old menus from previous owners very disappointed will not return .they need to update web site to let people know

Food service is slow and food isn’t great. Could do better with a better attitude and friendliness towards customers. Felt unwelcome

We went to the Bear for a Mother's Day treat for my lovely Mum whom is 90 yrs young,somehow when I called to book the table it wasn't written down & when we arrived they didn't have a table for the five of us,but the manager was so good & quickly managed to sort a table out for us without to much trouble, the meal was outstanding, so delicious,the staff were busy but attentive,my Mum had a wonderful time, we would definitely recommend & go back there again 😀

Stopped here on a saturday afternoon for a few drinks and some food. Food was really good - great size portions and the staff were happy to banter, and attentive - just how a great British pub should be!! Well done!

Stopped here today for a cheeky lunch out and pint. Service and food was all really good. Very enjoyable. Went inside to use the loo and lovely ambiance inside and nicely decorated etc... Good vibe to this pub.

Beef burger with skinny fries, no tomato or sauce. - good beef, would get sauce next time - fries were crisp and didn't require any extra seasoning, the quantity of salt was perfect Chicken parmigiana. - the chicken was moist with a fantastic layer of breadcrumbs. The chicken and tomato blend had a good texture and didn't feel or taste greasy - the chips were perfect, an amazing crunch without feeling fatty Would visit again, the outside area is a nice touch on a sunny day

Went there yesterday and found the experience a rushed. We were harassed into ordering with no time to look at the drinks menu to decide what we wanted. Then a waitress came over and mumbled something to us, the only thing we heard was, ‘do you want another drink?’. We decided to ordered another drink which seem to annoy the waitress as we were both still trying to work out want it was all about. The drinks arrived, after 5 mins or so to our disbelief the bill arrived. We thought maybe it was closing time but it was only 9:22! Nether less we carrying on with our drinks, only to find the staff packing away! In conclusion it was not a relaxing experience and will not want to come back because of it!

My daughter in law and grandson had a wonderful lunchtime meal. The oak smoked salmon salad was amazing. Definatelly go back.

A great pub with a real friendly atmosphere. Food is excellent and the grand children love it , always asking can we go to the Bear!!! Not to mention the outstanding service. The kids like Jasmine too!!!

Nice place for a drink and to people watch. And the service was great, especially Dee dee who was very charismatic and attentive, and nothing was too much trouble. And she even gave my wife a rhubarb recipe to go with duck.

Best pub in Camberley Town itself in my opinion. Amazing selection of beers and ales, also serve some delicious food. Always receive great service in there.

Fabulous food, the tapas selection is great and the fish and chips is simply divine ! Great service from Sam and Terry who are a pleasure to deal with. The chef is always very adviceful and very considerate to any dietary needs or special requests. Thanks !
