I had read about it and I took the chance we were close by to go and have lunch. It's worth every single star.

Not a great experience, visited last night to receive burnt, rock solid dehydrated chips, small portions and overall terribly cooked food. Very brown in colour, some rock solid and burnt. Please change your oil, this is not how an establishment should be providing food to their paying customers.

Really disappointed to be writing this as we used to love Kim's Plaice, we always thought it was good portions & good quality food. Our last two visits however have been extremely disappointing. The food has been so oily its soaked through all the paper & the fish has dissintergrated when serving. Last visit we thought was a one off hitch but tonight has disappointed again. The attached picture is supposed to be a large cod. Sadly I don't think we'll be returning.

Absolutely Devine! I always feel so disappointed when buying take-out in the UK. But this was tasty and very large portions. Large is definitely large. Fish isn't oily, and there is more fish than batter thankfully. chips are yummy as well as the prawns. Hope they can add Halloumi fingers to the menu. So much better than other fish and chips shops I tried. At other shops they charge me for sweet chilli sauce, and large is more like medium. Definitely going here again.

Now our first choice even though we have to pass 2 other fish and chip shops to get there, always busy, but served quickly, which speaks volume.

They do a song and dance if you ask for the "Fringo Dingo Special". I also really appreciate the choice of having the fish dead or alive. Would recommend.

Lovely fresh chips.. crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside and plenty of flavour. Worth the few minutes wait, friendly service and reasonable price.

Best fish and chips around, the queue outside is a sigh of how good it is! It’s well worth the wait. Good portion sizes. Fresh fish and the lady who serves literally doesn’t stop she’s fab! A lovely Friday treat, a firm fav in our house!

Great food and great service. I had the best fish supper I've had in years and the onion rings were superb. The dipping sauce which came with the onion rings was fantastic.

We've found our new fish and chip shop! So pleased to have found this place in our new neighbourhood. We've ended up coming three weeks in a row! Fair prices, generous portions and delicious food! The fish and chips isnt really greasy but it's full of flavour. Staff always working very hard. I recommend coming early and be prepared to queue, but it's worth it!

Still cross town passing other chippies to get here, ...in need of fish and chips tonight...thankfully they open at 5pm on Mondays. Best chip shop I've EVER been too.

Popular friendly chippy offering well cooked traditional range of fish , pies, etc. Small restaurant is also popular. Long queues at busy times is the only disappointment

Probably the best fish and chip takeaway in the South of England. Worth a detour from anywhere. Huge portions very reasonably priced. Cannot fault them. 11/10 all the way.

Super fast service, queues were long(means it's a great place) but staff were outstanding in handling a lot of big orders. Food is delicious, fish was perfectly cooked!

Lovely Cod & Chips fish is always freshly cooked

Always decent fish and chips from here. Good sized portions and £10 for small cod, chips and mushy peas (£2 for mushy peas seems quite expensive but the meal overall is about the going price). One negative is that plastic bags are used to wrap the food. Fish and chips should never be wrapped in plastic as the trapped steam causes the food to go soggy - please use only paper bags which will also reduce unnecessary plastic waste!

Great local fish and chips. Really good quality fish and chips. The actual shop is dated but most people takeaway from my experience.

We've just moved temporarily with the world's tiniest fridge so storing food is minimal. Ordered chips from here 2 nights ago..and they were so yummy. My partner just bought me a large fish and chips tonight .. and.. OMG... so good. The fish was so.big, tasty.... fresh.. thanks for a lovely.meal.

Was at an event at Farnborough recently and wanted to find some fish and chips on the way back, found this one that had a dine-in area, seemed very popular judging by the queue for takeaway! Had some lovely scampi and chips, which came with salad and coleslaw - very nice and good price, service was excellent!

Best fish and chips on the planet! I've tried all of the chippys in the area and these guys are the best by a mile. Even better than the one I had at the beach!💫🌊🐟🍟

Really good fish and chips and a very quick and efficient service. Come here most Monday evenings now and sometimes sit in for food. Recommended

One of our areas top fish and chip shops, busy so always find food freshly cooked, and whilst I love their fish and chips I some times spoil myself with spam fritter and chips 🙂

  • 5/5 Crumbles 6. 2 years ago on Google
Came across it by chance. 1st class fish & chips, cooked freshly to order. Very reasonable price, will be returning. Only negative is that they need to know how to brew up 🫖.
