Lovely lady running the place. The chef is also all smiles(and laughs). The food flavours are simply beautiful. No frills seating. But amazing ambience from hosts.

Visited this kitchen during a weekend attending a military reunion event. I love Curry Goat and thought I'd try them out. Absolutely outstanding!. Amazing flavours. On the bone in the traditional style and a truly enjoyable experience. Generous serving, a warm welcome. Went back again on the following day for more.

A fantastic find, we were looking for a place to eat on the way home from a trip. Five of us had lunch & all enjoyed it. The staff are wonderful as was the food. The goat curry was superb.

Amazing experience. Super friendly staff, very reasonable prices and totally delicious food. We had oxtail with rice and jerk chicken with sweet potatoes chips. Couldn't be any better! Highly recommended.

We do like the food BUT if there will be no improvements on the service then, the customers' time is ours and it's up to us if we will keep embracing the queue. I care about your business hence I put the concern forward. The options to improve the service are the following: First, spot in Google which time you are busy, you will also know through experience what times you are generally busy, once identified, either you hire a temporary person for few hours or the gentleman inside may help you, at least take the order or process the payment. The waiting is truly horrible, 45 minutes the last time, in case the awareness was not identified. For one person to deal with all the people flocking in your store, it's too much. Check the clock and put a poll about the service timings then you will come to know how your customers feel about it. I hope you could recognise the genuine concern on your business, if not, then, at least I cared about your business ----- Food is good, the waiting is something they should improve. Too many times it happens so it’s worth to tell the owners. Pls take on a positive view

Cycled 12 miles and waited in the long queue on a Friday night to be served by the kindest lady and when I got home my curry goat, rice/peas and lamb patty was totally worth it. X

Holy moly! Found this place on maps and ended up coming 3 days in a row! So unbelievably good! Queue out of the door was a great sign and the atmosphere was so friendly and welcoming. I asked for recommendations and had a different thing each day, all of which were incredible and a great price! Recommend to everyone!

A very welcoming place with fantastic food at an amazing prices. I had the stewed beef and Jerk Pork combo. The meat melts in your mouth and is so full of flavor . A must try if your in the aera.

Well.. if you are looking for some real soul food that is DELICIOUS and has your tastebuds partying (no pun intended) LOOK NO FURTHER! Ive been here several times over the years and Kelly and her husband never fail to produce delicious food! Everything I have tried from the curry goat to the stewed beef to the fried chicken are all bursting with flavour. The best Caribbean cuisine for miles and miles for real. The portion sizes are very generous for the price so not only are you getting quality your getting quantity for the price paid - win win! All of the staff are really friendly also. Do not hesitate to pop in and grab some serious food, you will not regret it!

Amazing Jamaican restaurant. Nothing else like it in the area. Place does get very busy so expect a decent wait (10-15 mins to just be served is average) but the food is incredible and well worth the wait. Would highly recommend

I was pleased with the warm way in which we were greeted as soon as we entered this restaurant. The woman was extremely friendly and gave excellent recommendations. The portions are generous and the service was efficient. The rice and peas dish was lovely and had a great taste. I would also recommend the Jerk Chicken.

Literally the best ribs and coleslaw around and that's just because thats what i chose from the incredible menu offered! Travelled from London because we'd heard so many great things and was not disappointed! Highly recommended. Would suggest getting there earlier than later if you want a good choice of foods!!

Not had a goat curry that I've not cooked myself for the best part of 20 years. Living in Yorkshire we don't have the luxury of eating Caribbean cuisine. I've got to say it did not disappoint. Full of flavour with the meat falling off the bone. Nice big portion and more than fairly priced. Amazing food, friendly service with a homily atmosphere. I'd highly recommend to anyone passing through aldershot to go grab a bit to eat. Their mac and cheese was spot on too. I'll definitely be back to try the lemon cake!

My favourite 100% best jerk chicken around.I have used taste buds for years now and I’m never disappointed.

The most delicious meats rice and peas, fried chicken, fish, pasta salads, ribs and the jerk chicken is next level!! The most tastiest food. Great service always. Good portion sizes. Just the best post work out meal or anytime! I’d eat it for breakfast!

My favourite place ever! The best Caribbean food I ever tried. Me and my husband drive to this place from another town for 1,5 hours just for this jerk chicken 🍗 no words needed

So glad I discovered this Caribbean restaurant while visiting Aldershot with work. The BBQ Ribs starter (£6) were probably the best I’ve ever had. I also had a Jerk Pork and Jerk Chicken (Mix Meat Meal) with rice (£12). This too was delicious. Although the place has a cafe type feel, don’t let this put you off. ‘Tastebuds’ is all about the food which was AMAZING and in my opinion, great value. The service was fantastic too. We had a good bit of banter with the lady serving us, who was doing a great job during a busy final hour of the day. Highly recommended.

First time ordering here and I can tell you the 5 star rating is well deserved! Curried goat, jerk pork and pil pil prawns with chips - everything was amazing. The flavours and tenderness of the meats were incredible! 100% coming back!

One of the best jerk chicken, rice and peas I have eaten. Honestly they have mastered the flavours and I would highly recommend if you enjoy this cuisine and are in the area! My favourite takeaway since I moved to this area 5 years ago, it's the best! The curry goat, chicken and stewed beef is great and really tender, the Jerk is amazing and the rice and peas is lovely. All the sides are amazing too. I'm always sad when it's all been eaten and want it again straight away!
