Bookshops are great. Waterstones are great bookshops. This one has been fighting its corner on Chatham High Street for years and long may it do so. It cannot be easy. Sometimes I think they could put a little coffee shop upstairs like the branch in Maidstone.... might improve footfall.... I wish them success.

Fantastic service! Saved a desparte mother four days before Christmas! They found the book I had forgotten to order locally, couldn't find it ANYWHERE else. Shipped it out to me UPS the next day. Can't beat that!!! Thank you so, so much.

Plenty of stock here and friendly people. I was able to get the things I wanted very easily. I will be back soon.

Great book shop, with loads of genres, and also games to play, however it is a bit more expensive than buying things online, but good none the less.

Went in for some language books, long story short I managed to get a couple of foreign dictionaries but the Internet is still a better place to get the kit from, though YouTube and ticktock are fast becoming your best bet as a lot of native speakers are using those platforms to try and help people learn for free as even they are tired of poor level learning aids being sold to people 🤣

Great selection of books for young and old. That have a good selection of items to get people interested in reading to.

I do like taking the time to browse through bookstores, there's always so much to offer in this one and always well presented, making it easy to find what you're looking for. I remember the gentleman working here had recommended a book, which I thoroughly enjoyed (Thank you!) "The confessions of Frannie Lanngton" by Sara Collins. It's a small interaction but lead to it being my preferred store.

Nice selection of books for a store this size and very helpful, friendly staff. I asked a bout a new title the other day and the staff member sold me the only copy they had, which was one he'd set aside for himself.

Love this store . Always well kept and organised . Helpful staff . Good selection of graphic novels is a major plus point for me . Update : consistency is key and that's what you get. Even with the odd new face over the years, staff are always great here. Thought I'd up my review as I think on every visit I've found something. The graphic novel section has taken a hit but not without fair explanation from one of the staff. More DC graphic novels please.

Despite my desired book not being in stock, they were able to order me a copy at no extra cost. The staff were friendly, approachable and knowledgeable. I made a different purchase from a similar author I also read.

Good store for meeting authors, and picking up signed copies of popular books. Not as busy as some other branches near here. Good range of stock and very helpful staff.
