If
you
are
looking
for
good
custom
from
well
mannered,
helpful
staff,
who
understand
that
customers
are,
quite
literally,
their
bread
and
butter,
then
you
need
to
avoid
this
store!!
Having
worked
in
retail
for
a
couple
of
decades,
I
know
the
standards
which
any
customer
should
expect
from
sales
staff
and
management,
sadly
it
seems
a
few
in
this
shop
are
unfamiliar
with
those
requirements.
Of
course,
when
handling
the
public
you
often
find
yourself
confronted
by
an
awkward
customer
but
you
should
know
the
law,
so
that
if
that
customer
is
asking
for
a
refund,
or
replacement
of
goods
because
the
goods
you
sold
were
faulty,
then
they
are
not
being
unnecessarily
rude,
or
deliberately
awkward,
they
are
disappointed
and
frustrated,
after
being
embarrassed
when
their
gift
has
been
opened
and
the
recipient
has
found
it
to
be
faulty!
What's
more,
the
Consumer
rights
act
2015,
should
be
fully
understood
by
any
retail
staff,
serving
customers,
to
avoid
the
disgusting
behaviour
and
manner
in
which
my
son
was
treated
when
returning
Prada
perfume
(£80)
with
a
cracked
bottle
that
had
leaked
all
through
the
inner
packaging,
which
he
bought
for
his
fiance
for
Christmas.
Even
without
a
receipt,
if
the
item
is
broken,
or
faulty,
you
are
entitled
to
a
replacement,
or
full
refund.
My
son
had
lost
his
receipt
but
had
proof
of
purchase
through
his
card
payment,
yet
the
first
couple
of
women
he
encountered
refused
to
refund
or
replace
his
faulty
goods,
showing
their
ignorance
by
first
accusing
him
of
buying
the
goods
from
Boots
then
lying
by
telling
him
that
their
till
system
made
it
impossible
to
check
his
card
payment!
He
left,
intending
on
double
checking
his
consumer
rights.
He
returned
next
day,
was
met
by
a
friendly
enough
women
who
said
she
had
heard
about
him
from
the
girls
the
previous
day.
She
called
for
an
older
women,
who
took
great
delight
in
humiliating
him
in
front
of
other
staff
and
customers,
telling
him
not
to
spk
to
her
in
'that'
manner
and
that
there
was
no
need
to
be
rude,
yet
actually,
under
the
circumstances,
he
hadn't
used
bad
language,
or
even
raised
his
voice
and
was
perfectly
within
his
rights
to
be
angry,
though
was
much
more
restrained
than
I
would
have
been!!
Hence
my
son
will
never
buy
goods
from
this
store
again
and
as
he
has
a
fair
amount
of
influential
friends
and
colleagues,
will
be
advising
them
also
to
avoid
this
store!!

In
answer
to
Marie
Mcjury,
it
is
my
belief
that
as
some
of
your
staff
members
appear
to
be
fully
adept
at
lying,
(your
tills
functioning
differently
to
all
others
in
the
retail
pk,
for
instance)
I
do
not
believe
that
my
son
would
have
sworn
at
them,
though
considering
the
way
he
was
spoken
to,
I
feel
the
situation
would
have
been
exceptionally
trying
for
the
most
patient
person.
However,
I
will
ask
him
but
I
warn
you
Defamation
of
Character
is
a
serious
offence........
*****
I'm
unsure
of
my
sons
next
move
but
he
assures
me
that
the
most
contraversial
thing
he
said
to
your
staff
on
Boxing
day
was
"Excellent
customer
service!"
then
he
left.
He
is
now
furious
with
your
accusation.
I
won't
continue
with
this
form
of
correspondence,
as
it
appears
that
he
may
decide
to
take
this
to
the
next
level
and
quite
frankly
I
don't
blame
him!
