I highly recommend this hotel. The staff were so lovely and helpful. The hotel is new, very clean, and extremely well-located. If you're not familiar with the city, the location is fabulous and you can walk everywhere. The most important thing for me was how quiet the room was. It was unbelievably quiet, which is very rare for Melbourne. Thank you so much for the stay, and we will definitely be back :)

Being freshly refurbished the hotel is nice and clean, Rooms are pretty small, but expected at this price point. The location is good and in a quiet area. The only disappointing thing was no iron, which meant crinkled shirts.

Upon arrival at approx 6.30 pm we were met by Connie at reception who was very helpful and friendly. She made us welcome and described attractions and food outlets close to the hotel. The hotel areas and our room were fresh and clean Our bed was very comfortable and the room very well presented. Due to a family Emergency, we had to look for a place to stay last-minute for the night that close to the Royal Melbourne Hospital. I had rung the Hotel late at night which was answered by the kind Connie who told us they had a room available and another needed to be cleaned and set-up - if we didn't mind waiting. Upon arrival at around 11-11.30pm we were welcomed by Connie at Reception who was extremely helpful, friendly and accomodating and offered us bottles of water after seeing how exhausted we were. Connie went above and beyond to make sure we were looked after and comfortable for the night. Her concern and service was very heartfelt. The hotel spaces and our rooms were fresh and clean. Our bed was very comfortable and the rooms were very well presented. It was an absolute pleasure to stay here and are so glad we came across them!

Absolutely delicious food, great wine and beer list, great cocktails. Service was amazing too. Highly recommend this pub. But book ahead! 😁 👍

Very friendly and helpful staff member Patrick, good location, great take out food options, clean and light room and I slept like a log in the comfy bed. Recommend.

Took 45 mins to checkin. Management decision to train a new front of desk person during a busy time was honestly very frustrating. Train them but put someone else on to help.

It is the best various room types. we like it.

The staff were exceptionally friendly & helpful. When I arrived one of the two lifts was broken, and in no time the second one joined in. The fella behind reception let me use the goods lift. The room was nice and big, I had a view of the Grand Hotel. The bathroom was very mouldy, & was comical in size. The door to the shower was 42cm wide. In the shower I could touch the heel of my left foot to the wall behind me, and with my feet heel to toe could touch the opposite wall with the big toe of my right foot. This was also the width of the whole bathroom. My hand spanned the entirety of the basin. It was easier to sit down to pee (I’m a bloke) because there was no where to stand in front of the toilet. I am not a giant.

Loved the location!! Queen Victoria Markets at your doorstep, so many restaurants and eateries close by to choose from. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was big enough for my needs. Bed comfortable. Overall I really enjoyed my stay here.

Beautifully presented and styled rooms, meticulously clean, comfy bed and outstanding service from front staff. Up to date tech, perfect wifi, went over and above to make me comfortable. Cannot fault at all and will definitely return. Management should be proud.

This is a great value hotel. It's like a brand new one. Everything is of a high standard. They attach great importance to the needs of their customers and the price is very cheap. You must not miss a hotel in such a good location. I will definitely visit again!

Very nice motel very clean and very pleasant staff couldn't have been more helpful

So close to Victoria Market, and yet in a quiet residential street. I stayed on the 3rd floor and heard no street noise at all. The doors of adjoining rooms also seemed to be quiet (this is a source of noise in some hotels). The security is really good, you need keycard access to both the front door and the lift. The room was very compact but this suited me just fine as a solo traveller. A stand for my suitcase was provided. The bed was comfortable, the room was spotless and the water pressure was good. I would have liked to open the window for fresh air but perhaps this is not feasible on the 3rd floor. Friendly and helpful staff.

Good value, great service and convenient location! I booked the Queen Bedroom and it was cosy but a good size for what I paid. The building itself and facilities all looked new. The staff were really helpful and able to answer my queries over the phone. They also offered me some water bottles after arriving in Melbourne to check in and held my luggage on my last day there. The location is great with the markets and tram stops nearby. I would recommend this place if you're looking for somewhere convenient to stay in Melbourne CBD without breaking the bank.
