We came here based on the reviews of the food and we were impressed. A classic inner Melbourne pub with friendly, helpful staff and outstanding food. The 550gm ribeye was medium rare perfection and those chips, wow. The Asian prawn noodle salad had beautiful balanced flavours and quality ingredients. If you appreciate high quality pub food, this place is a must go.

Chilled day at the Three Crowns Hotel pub in West Melbourne. Hung out with friends and we didn't hold back on the food front! 🍔 Burgers, mac and cheese croquettes, ribs, and so much more lined our table. Personally went for the Asian Noodle Salad and it didn't disappoint - especially loved that fried tofu on top. 🍜 Great food, better company.

It's a great pub, with a generous serving size. There's a beer garden out the back, and good week night deals. It's located on the corner of Errol and Victoria Street, with plenty of side parking available. The service is good, and food generally comes out pretty quick after ordering. Stopped in for dinner on Boxing Day. Despite a busy night, the service was friendly and efficient, the food was fabulous and excellent value for money. Couldn’t have hoped for anything better. The reviews on this spot were accurate. Totally recommend this. We had the chicken burger, cheese burger, schnitzel and Parmesan chicken. All hit the mark!!

Fantastic local pub with a great vibe, fantastic food and some great beers! We’ve been coming here for years, the food is fantastic. I love the burgers but the ribs are probably my favorite, make sure you try the waffle fries and spicy sauce! There’s a beer garden out the back and another on the side road out the front, grab a beer and soak up the sunshine.

Foods great, beer is reasonably priced and fresh and the vibe is spot on. Nice blend of modern and old school feel to it.

As you all would have worked out by now, I only review a place that is worth a review. My partner and I had dinner here. Entree was Cheese and Mac Croquettes. Awesome. For Dinner. My partner had the 300g Angus beef steak with Garlic Chats( Kefler potato sections cooked in skin) Red wine Jus ( Full bodied flavour, thick, should be bottled) and par cooked green veg which was kissed by the grill. Beautiful. I had the Jerk chicken with apple slaw, both awesome. Beer battered fries, which some where covered with the full flavoured jerk juices. The chicken, when I peeled it open, was juicy and perfectly cooked. Apple slaw was delicious. And the house made peri-peri sauce is perfect. Banana leaf was a nice touch. Small pub on the corner. Big in service and food. A definite MUST to visit.

Nice place. Does a little bit of everything really well. Classic Australian pub style that’s not often found in inner Melbourne. Food good, although nothing thus far has blown me away, but is fairly priced. Staff were very good and the 10 odd taps strike a good balance between traditional easy going beers and more adventurous craft. For me the best pub in North Melbourne.

Great hotel, good selection of beer and food. Food was fairly priced, portions generous.. loved the ginger beer on tap.. great atmosphere and a cool place to hangout.. another thing which was great was tables had selection of hot suaces to choose from.. will go again

First time patron. Food was excellent. The Chicken Parma and the fish of the day slightly over cooked. Not a golden brown. The red from Heathcote was excellent. Staff made us feel like we were the only patrons at the pub. Keep up the good work

Yummy food great service cool old school pub with a twist. At face value may not appear kid friendly however they were very accommodating and patient with my 4 year old. Even had some colouring activity for her. Great night had by all!

Fantastic pub. It was really nice to go to a proper pub for a change. Staff are friendly, there are lots of beers on tap, daily specials are affordable and it seems to be student friendly too. It also has decent outdoor seating. I would happily return here.

An absolute antidote to the usual overpriced pretension of the Melbourne pub scene. Traditional pub food done brilliantly, a steak to satisfy the fussiest carnivore and excellent veg options for the rest. Cold beers, friendly staff and well priced. My new home away from home! Atmosphere is classic pub style, has a cool pool table, lots of good tables and good staff. The food is fantastic, wish we could come back and try more! Had the buttermilk chicken burger and was so completely satisfied. Fries were also amazing.

Popped in for a quick beer with some mates. All good but the live music made it hard for us old blokes to talk! Otherwise all good.

Visited three crowns tonight. We are not from the area & found comfort when the bar staff were so welcoming. Aidan was very charming & suggested drinks & additional venues to visit in the area. This review is for the restaurant/pub and not the accommodation. Had a dinner at Three Crowns pub yesterday with family. Apart from the drinks, we ordered 4 dishes, as follows : 1. Chicken Burger. Just ignore all the praises and fancy words written on the menu. It was a substandard burger with chicken inside dry as a cardboard. On first bite, we decided to return it. The replacement was edible. I would rather eat three burgers at Hungary jack with better quality. 2. Fish and Chips. While the chips were great, the fish was totally dripping with oil. The coating was dark brown and not visually appealing. Frankly, I would rather have it at any fish and chip shop for one third the price; and double the quality. Replacement was promptly done when asked, but it was again below par. 3. Third dish was a mushroom burger. There was nothing wrong with the taste apparently, but the person who had it, had a bout of diahorrea all night. 4. The fourth dish, a Calamari salad was excellent. Good luck to this pub.

Great food and atmosphere. The staff are quick and friendly. The food is amazing, especially the buffalo chicken wings.

The Parma is a generous size for the price, was very impressed on the serving size of chips and slaw (all included). Selection of sauces on the table. Didn't have to ask for tom sauce for my chippies OMG. Make sure you book a table fills up fast.

2 people on GF Eve for lunch is not enough staff, waited 15 minutes to order whilst our bartender ran food and cleared tables. Not sure who decided 2 people is the right number but looking around they were short by at least another 2 to 3 people. Food was top notch and I’m hoping to experience the place again when they aren’t so short staffed

A simple pub that shows the footy and has really good food options (some of the best burgers in Melbourne 👌🏻). The only negative is that the place stinks like rotting beer. I think it’s time to clean out the drainage system!

Best value parma in North Melbourne, good beers and down to earth feel. Not the fanciest restaurant but for a chill Sunday evening or to watch the footy it's great.

Come here often for work lunches, no frills great hearty pub food, good range of beers with many craft options and a couple of solid non alc ones too, never a disappointing meal here

The hotel has such a welcoming vibe as the live music plays and friendly staff great you with smiles, this venue makes you feel comfortable as soon as you walk in. Variety of great food (definitely recommend the parma!) and the experienced bar staff can make you whatever you like, I loved the range of beers on tap and they made a great espresso martini. We played pool and had a few drinks in the beer garden, overall a great experience!

What a great pub! I went there for the 1st time today as I am staying at a Motel only 3 or 4 min away. The guy behind the bar was so helpful after I asked about the trams and he told me about the tram app to download. It was happy hour (4-6pm) and pints were $7 wow what a bargain! I intend to return there for dinner tonight as when I left I saw a few meals come out that looked absolutely delicious. There is a tram stop less than 100m from the door. This pub is recommended by me!

Food was ok. Interior could use a much needed reno. Atmosphere wasn't created. Wouldn't order the special again as the amount was more of an entree than a main.

Great meal on a Saturday night, and probably lucky to get a table in a popular pub. Staff were busy but very friendly and helpful. Good people. Food was sensational. We had chicken wings at a dollar each, and bao buns at $4 each. Really good value for money, especially as the meat is proper smoked out the back. This is a real Aussie pub. Highly recommend

Beautiful rustic pub. Friendly staff. Pool table. Dart board. Food I tried was delicious. $6/per steamed bao.. I ordered 3, so $18 for a starter which will do me for dinner! Outdoor beer garden. I assume there's rooms upstairs. The staff member who I spoke to briefly said that on Fridays they have live music, usually just a 2 piece group, due to lack of usable space for a whole band. I love it. The sort of pub I dream of one day owning and running.

Famished? The best spot for Sunday Roast specials, parmas and steak sandwiches. Ticked all the boxes for us every time we’ve dined here. Even their water tastes filtered! Love this place.

Fantastic, friendly service. Great food and large servings. I only wanted waffle fries and apple slaw, and the waiter/server was very accommodating. Plenty of staff, who were kept busy, but still managed to ensure that everything was okay with our meals. Very quick to clear away dishes etc. A bit loud, but everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. I'd definitely recommend the food and staff here.

So this photo may not do this justice, but it’s hard not to dive right into the Tuesday night Parma special! The chips are phenomenal and the Parma itself will satisfy the hungriest of punters. Do yourself a favour - plus before 6pm you still get happy hour bar prices on drinks.

Great pub atmosphere, and honestly the best pub food I think I've ever had! My partner and I both got a burger, and we were both extremely pleasantly surprised by just how flavourful they were. Service is good, staff are nice, would definitely hit this place up for dinner again.

Love this place, and was awesome throughout lockdowns! I got take-away tonight and Cheese Burger and Chips were perfect, but have recently changed the Wing recipe, and not nearly enough hot sauce.

Terrific food and friendly service, classic pub fare. Highly recommend the buffalo wings which are $1 each in batches of $6 (get extra, they go fine in the oven the next day) and the waffle fries are great.

Hands down the best vegan cheeseburger I have ever had. And I’ve had a lot. Staff are friendly. Atmosphere is great. But seriously, go there for the vegan burger, you will not regret!

Nice pub with some cool food options. The Three Crows Lager was pretty good during our quick stop over for a drink. Will be back to try some of the unique food they offer.

This bar and restaurant is my new favorite place to go and have a drink or a meal. Their steak has a taste of heaven 🤤 you know it's delicious when you forget about the sauce
