Spent
some
reflective
time
here,
the
museum
dedicated
to
St
Mary
MacKillop
is
truly
humbling.
I
am
always
in
awe
of
people
that
have
such
a
deep
faith
and
demonstrate
it
by
being
totally
and
unreservedly
in
service
to
marginalised
people
who
deserve
respect
and
dignity.
To
think
that
Mary
MacKillop
started
her
life's
work
in
the
late
1800's
and
her
work
and
vision
still
continues
today
because
people
who
also
believed
in
her
calling,
are
still
of
service
to
people
and
communities
around
the
world
today.
This
is
why
I
truly
believe
that
the
world
is
a
much
better
place,
for
without
people
like
Mary
MacKillop
and
those
who
have
followed
in
her
foot
steps,
we
would
be
much,
much
poorer.
I
have
been
told
since
my
childhood,
"God
helps
those
that
help
themselves".
In
this
case
it
is
clearly
demonstrated
by
Mary
Mackillop's
devotion
to
God.
If
you
have
some
time,
visit
the
museum,
the
chapel.
Read,
sit,
reflect
and
allow
the
grace
of
St
Mary
MacKillop
to
be
with
you.
