There are a bunch of different salads to choose from so there is a huge variety, including vegetarian and possibly vegan options. I ordered the regular size and picked three different salads (max amount) including the chicken avocado, crumbed chicken pasta and the falafel salad. The avocado was smooth and creamy and the chicken was still crunchy in the salad. The flavours blended very well together and you can choose balsamic vinegar, lemon and other dressing options on top too for extra flavour. However, the majority of the salad was green leaves and very few falafel on the falafel salad and same goes with the chicken pasta, very few chicken pieces but a lot of creamy pasta. I think this is something they can definitely improve on as their salads aren’t exactly cheap (around $10) so they should definitely add more meat instead of filler ingredients, then I may consider going back if they improve on this. Otherwise, its not worth it and I don’t think I’ll be going back again. Great service! The lady serving me was really bubbly nice and friendly and explained how the process of picking three different salads work. She did say she gave me a fork in the bag but when I check there was none, so luckily I went back as I hadn’t gone far, but this was just an accident on their part and things like this happen. There was also not enough avocado for a salad called avocado chicken it was mostly green leaves so wont be back but the service and flavour is still good!!

Soul origin food is fine no great but no safety measures are taken while cleaning the staff was cleaning next to open food. All cleaning equipments were used next to open sandwiches and salad. Cross contamination of food and detergent or sprays

Soul origin at Melb c downstairs - The staff member, pictured not wearing correct uniform, that served me should be fired asap. To begin with they were rolling their eyes at me making my order and just seemed like they didn’t want to be there. I got a crumbed chicken salad and they put like 4 bits of chicken so I asked for more and they acted like I asked for their life savings and first born child. I then paid cash and the server DROPPED the money into one of the salads and used her fingers, no gloves, to fish the money out of the salad, looked at me like it was my fault then continued with work. Didn’t wash their hands after or throw out the salad and then happily sold it to other customers. This is so disgusting.

Thank you for the worst cup of coffee this year. After paying 6 AUD for a medium coffee, the first order was wrong, and extra hot soy latte (2nd time) was cold, dreadful and possibly the worst I haf this year. At the same time, l saw the barista spilled the milk and fixed with their finger which was really not good.

would i go here again no never ! not worth paying $10 for this tinsy bitsy bowl of salad. i ordered the cripsy chicken salad. thats the name on the tag. But i got a pasta salad with few chicken pieces in my bowl. when i asked why there is more pasta and only few chicken pieces she said thats how it is. and i asked her to add more chicken she said pay $4 more. Please have a look at the portion size and be the judge. NOT WORTH $10 FOR a REALLY DECEIVING SALAD!

Watery lindor hot Chocolate. Staff really slow To acknowledge. Much more interested at 2:30pm in cleaning down display cabinets than acknowledging customers. Give it a miss

I expected there would be a big bowl of meat but finally i got a bowl of veg...as the first time i tried this at southern cross station two days ago, i was so surprised that i could get such delicious meat salad with only $10, can‘t help waiting to try the second time… but…

Very friendly and excellent service – Future is a delight. We ordered the Salmon Baguette and Schnitzel Baguette and had them lightly toasted. The serving size is generous, and the ingredients are fresh. It just needed more evenly-spread condiments (e.g. mayo).

At 12pm I Ordered Chicken & Avocado salad. The young man kept filling with only greens and hardly any Chicken and Avocado. I had to ask twice ‘Can I pls have more Chicken & Avocado??’ And each time he kept putting more greens, his excuse was ‘they won’t be enough for other ppl’ Really?? I wasn’t asking for EXTRAS! IF I WANTED GREENS I WOULD HAVE BOUGHT A BAG OF GREENS FROM COLES FOR $5. I visit this place regularly and have introduced my work colleagues too. Sometimes it’s just too hard…I won’t be returning.

Really lovely staff members, but dear Soul Origin, if you’re going to charge $5.70 for a regular coffee with a milk alternative, please make sure that your baristas are adequately qualified because for that price I’m expecting one of the best coffees I’ll ever have. Nearly $6 for a disgusting coffee that I had to bin after two sips is ridiculous. I’ve had lovely coffee from Soul Origin before but it’s definitely a hit and miss and definitely not worth the risk for that steep price.

I had the chai latte and chicken schnitzel baguette. The staff was friendly and the baguette wasn't bad. As the location was in the food court, there are plenty of seats, though a bit dirty.

I ordered a chicken schnitzel. They toasted the whole sandwich and it was soggy. They aren't meant to toast the whole thing with the tomatoes and that. It actually made me extremely sick. I believe I got food poisoning 🤢.

Home of amazing fresh salads and pre made sandwiches and wrap Would usually come here to get a fresh salad but i was after something different today so i had the chicken schnitzel panini. Had it lightly toasted and i really enjoyed it

Tuscan pasta - veg was undercooked and hard, it was tasteless as a whole, it looked like there were herbs but you sure couldn't taste a thing. Wasn't even asked if I wanted dressing, I had to go back up and ask. Won't bother next time, $10 for flavourless poorly cooked food.

I owe this one to this guys. Great coffee, friendly guys, healthy good food. I sometimes get to the centre only to grab my coffee on my break, or some salads from there at their station shop on my way home. Good job guys.

Arrived at 8:30am on Sunday, both Google AND your own website says open at 8am. The store is not open. Update/correct your opening hours! I understand Google isn't always correct but your own website should be.

I order chicken and avocado salad take away and they gave me the beef one which was hidden inside told them that I don’t eat beef even though It has never happen before but this time it was worst have to throw everything

I ordered a latte with a cake. Then I asked the lady to change my cake with a banana bread just after I did pay. she said she cannot. why? I got my latte. it was just milk without any tase of spresso. why? It was my first time & last time.

Charged me twice! After I had tapped my card to pay and the machine beeped and had the green tick, girl said their wifi cut out and the payment didn’t go through and wanted me to pay again. Saying this problem happens all the time. I checked my account and payment already came out and she promised me it would be refunded. So I had paid. And guess what? Both payments came out of my account. I lodged a complaint on Soul Origin’s website and asked for a refund and received no response. I used to buy 2 large salads every Sunday. Now I am taking my business elsewhere.

I don’t usually write reviews but I was served by the sweetest girl today (I think she is South Asian maybe?? She has a brown complexion), she made an excellent coffee and was sweet enough to compliment my hair after I had just gotten off a bad day at work, really needed that!

Ordered avo chicken salad and chicken pasta! All i see is pasta and veggies just one piece chicken, one piece avocado,! These guys are extremely stingy with chicken and avocado! Please dont waste your money go the next shop buy good portion of chicken for the same price!

I have had a much different experience compared to Soul Origin in Maribyrnong. Service was ok but toppings were very limited on my pasta. I feel like I got mostly pasta with a significantly small amount of crumbed chicken & avocado. I'll probably still eat here again.

I liked the choice of salad they offer. I had a Medium sized salad which gets me 3 combinations of salads. I took falafel, roasted veggies, and buffalo chicken. I enjoyed the meal. Will visit again!

It taste really good and only cost 10 dollars for a meal, their Lime Mayo is the best dressing.

Ice latte always is my favorite to make my day But today my ice latte with ice and ice melted water from the fridge So today my latte wasn’t good Hope next time I can get it better again

The lower ground soul origin: food was good as always. Sadly The service was lacking. I put it down to the lady having a bad day, but she was rude and almost rolling her eyes at me. Might need a refresher in customer service (I've worked in customer service many years and I'd definitely retrain my staff if they treated customers like this)

I visit this place mostly when I am in the office.. as they give a good mix and a variety of healthy options to choose from.. but considering the price they should increase the amount of meat/chicken in the servings.. as its not cheap…

Coffee was terrible. Extremely weak. They might as well have just served warm milk.
