Be very cautious about buy fish from southmorang betparn as they have no knowledge of whitespot and the tank was full of it, then staff became very arrogant and rude when they were notified of it..thankyou bayleigh for your service (NOT)

Went to petbarn to set up a new tropical fish tank. Our first visit went somewhat smoothly when it came to buying the tank and the initial setup. Weekly water testing went okay with us always following the advice the staff gave us, however 5 weeks into the cycling we tested our water at a dedicated fish shop. We told the staff there our process as to what we were doing, the staff told us 90% of the cycling information and care info that we were given was wrong and not accurate. The information given to us by Petbarn was doing us more harm than good. With the information we wouldn’t be getting fish for atleast another couple months. Petbarn is good for buying a beginner tank and decoration but that’s about it.

Great store with staff that just adore pets. Always friendly. The greencross vets attached are also amazing.

My own personal experience is that it helped me build a great home for my pet pray mantis. Shes a very satisfied insect at the moment. Great store for just about any pet you’d like to make happy.

Very friendly staff. When my kitty needed wound guard, they were the only place I could order, click and collect to provide immediate aid to my cat. They were willing to check stock and put my details on record to notify when what I needed became available. A+ experience.

The staff were pretty helpful, items nicely displayed and there is a vet right next door. Some shoppers were in there with their doggies, so pets definitely welcome!

Great pet store and the majority of the staff are friendly and very helpful, BUT DON'T BOTHER WITH JENNY! She is rude, disrespectful and made my friend feel like he was an utter burden and nuisance! She did come back afterwards and say that she's under the pump and she basically didn't know if she was coming or going, but this is no excuse and by then it was far too late anyway, the damage was done. Come on Petbarn South Morang, YOU CAN DO BETTER THAN THIS! 😐

Absolutely lovely here, aside from the treatment of the Betta fish. They should not be kept in such small and confining tanks and should have live plants. If you’re going to sell these fish, please treat them right and have less in the shop to account for better living spaces! Other than that, staff seem really friendly especially in regards to the adoptable pets available and pet food is great

The store might resemble your typical PetBarn or any otherPet Supplies outlet in terms of inventory, but what truly sets it apart is the exceptional staff. They are not only courteous and polite, but they genuinely care. When placing an online order for toys or treats, there might be a slight delay. However, when it comes to food, they prioritize swift delivery, keeping in mind that a hungry four-legged friend could be eagerly waiting. And when you have a query about a product, their primary concern is always the well-being of our pets. Thank you for your genuine care and concern. Kudos to the entire team!

The grooming service is a joke. You book 2 months in advance and they cancel 48 hours prior to the appointment. Every other place is now booked till at least 1 month from now, and my pet is very prone to overheating due to her age. This is not how a decent business is run. If you cancel late, you must provide an out-of-queue appointment in your other stores within 1 or 2 weeks. Don't recommend wasting your time on Petbarn.

We just finished our 5-week puppy school training and Graduated thanks to the amazing Clare who was so patient with Lia from the very first day and brought her completely out of her shell, helped build up her confidence and bring her social anxiety right down. Could not recommend more. She goes the extra mile and truly loves dogs.

Pet barn is a pet warehouse which sells a wide range of accessories and food. The main reason I went was to use the self dog wash in store with my small elderly dog. As hoped the room was warm and wash itself (almost exactly like the K9000 you find at service stations) was excellent. The soaps in the wash are good but I purchased some specific pet hair washing conditioning products to suit my dog’s skin and hair. I combed the conditioned through before rinsing and blow drying which led to a great result for her tangle prone hair. Pet Barn is a bit expensive. I’m marking down slightly by one extra star because I love my local stockfeeds and want to continue to support the buy small buy local mantra compared to big box chain stores.

some of the workers are rude/judgemental but maybe I just caught them on a bad day. what really irked me was when I bought my 6 guppies one day, a lady took the fish out for me but she didn't do it properly, she just scooped them up and dumped them into the plastic bag not even trying to be careful which would've stressed them out. 3 stars only because they have a good range of products but I would go somewhere else when it comes to more experienced staff

I've just purchased an inexpensive Hessian mat for my Anatolian (Osprey) who is also my Assistance Dog. Epping, Victoria shoppers are familiar with us. I needed the mat for a public sidewalk training session as I don't want her sitting on dirty areas. Petbarn organised the mat quickly, the checkout & home delivery were terrific.

Bridgett always does an amazing job with Alfie. Her grooming skills are amazing. Highly recommend.

basically have everything you might need dog wise (we don't have cats anymore so didn't look for cat things), only thing to watch out for is price. you should do your usual price match online before going, also CALL before travelling.

found all the products wee needed for our new family member (dog harness and new dog tag) with the store being well set out and the suff where very helpful.
