It was an awesome experience. I booked onaboat for my birthday and invited my girlfriends. All of us were so happy. The boat I booked was the deluxe with self skipper and the team decorated the boat beautifully with cushions and blankets. Six of us definitely sat comfortably on a boat. As I booked it early September, on that day the weather changed several times from sunny to drizzle and back to sunny, the blankets were useful. With six of us on the boat, some of us could stand and dance, others enjoyed the views and we had two skippers. Of course we said hi to all people waved at us. It was a fun ride, I’d say! The team were helpful in explaining us how to drive the boat. Even after we left, one of the team, I think his name was Callum (sorry if I make typo), called me that I left accidentally some stuffs on the boat. Much appreciated for that. Excellent service from the team! I will definitely book again in coming months this year. If you’d like to have awesome experiences enjoying the atmosphere on the boat that easily driven then you should look into this. I highly recommend onaboat. Cannot wait for the next trip.

Another Bucket list item ticked off for us!! After many years being envious of others, cruising down the Yarra in a private boat on a lovely day, we did it! From the start of our experience using On A Boat, we were welcomed by Will, for a safety/instruction briefing. (Lovely English Lad! ) We were off down the beautiful Yarra. Fabulous Afternoon! Also we arrived early and one of the boys from On A Boat recommended a place nearby to eat, a Vietnamese restaurant just around the corner, which was another 5 star recommendation!

A wonderful experience along the Yarra. Great views, relaxing and seeing Melbourne in a whole new light. Thoroughly enjoyed ‘on a boat’ ride and Justin was great with all the tips and tricks of how to navigate the river!!

Great boating experience. Easy to steer with the driving wheel v the actual motor handle where it’s opposite turn to direction (like other providers), Bluetooth music easy to connect to get tunes going (with good sound quality), comfy seats and great friendly staff. Anyone over 18 can skipper the boat (unlike other providers where only the paying person can skipper) so loved the flexibility and sharing of skipper duties. Highly recommend

On a Boat was fantastic! The staff we're super friendly, helpful and patient. The boats are large, comfortable and equipped with everything (including built-in speakers!) and in a really lovely location. It was a great afternoon for our entire team and would recommend. 10/10

Even as a long-time Melbourne resident, this was worth doing. Seeing the city from the river gives a lovely perspective. The boats go at a gentle pace, affording a leisurely cruise. We took our own picnic and was a delight to do so. (Only negative would be it feels a bit garish being in a heavily Aperol-branded boat, but oh well, I can understand the reasoning.)

Absolutely loved this experience, so much fun, the boat was easy to drive and navigate. They had a speaker on the boat so we could put some music on and cruise with tunes. We sat back and enjoyed the experience. A must do on a sunny, clear day. We had a interstate guest visiting and we literally booked it in the car on the way to the city, booking was a breeze and the staff were really friendly and helpful. I will do this again and i highly recommend. Good price too.

We went to celebrate a birthday with friends. It was one of the best things we decided to spend quality time with friends. Carry some beers/wine and nibbles and you are all set. Amazing experience riding the boat. We accidentally, booked it for the previous day, but the manager, Charlie understood the significance of the occasion and let us use our expired booking on the day of our arrival. Awesome customer service. Recommend this experience highly if you haven't tried this. Its a different perspective to visit around the beautiful city. Do ensure that its a bright sunny day to make the best of your time

We had such a great experience. We'd not booked in advance, and were lucky enough to be able to make a Sunday afternoon booking as we were walking past. The boats are easy to use and get in and out of, and the staff were so helpful and friendly. The deluxe boat was great, padded seats and very clean. Highly recommend at least 1.5hrs as the time goes quick with so much to see! We timed our booking well with a lovely afternoon sunset. Can't wait to book again.

we sailed out last saturday on the most beautiful day! on a boat was fantastic at providing us training before hand. the boats are so easy to use and a great speed to cruise along the yarra. 1.5 hours is a great amount of time as we had a stunning sunset and enjoyed the water and views. definitely would recommend!

Brilliant experience with On a Boat yesterday. Such a great way to spend a gorgeous day. Will definitely be going back with a bigger group in the future to try it out again, maybe next time we'll try the deluxe boats. We had a great experience cruising along the Yarra River with On A Boat. Staff was very friendly and patient to explain all the impt point. Steering the boat was easy and because it’s off peak we had the river all to ourselves 😁 I will definitely recommend this activity for family and friends when they visit Melbourne.

Bring a speaker, some snacks and drinks and enjoy a cruise along the Murray. 1.5 hours was plenty of time to do the whole stretch down the the botanical gardens and back.

Had a great cruise on a beautiful sunny Sunday. Boats were tricky to steer but easy to get the hang of. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Thus us a great way to see the sites of the Yarra from West Gate Bridge to south bank.

We had beautiful cruise experience on valentine's day and celebrated our anniversary on boat! Time flies 2 hours look like not enough for us. Crew are awesome love the smile on their face while assisting us. We probably rebook again for 3hours💕🥰

My family had a fantastic afternoon cruising along the Yarra. The boat was very comfortable and decked out beautifully with flowers, pillows, throws, ice bucket and nibbles. The boat was easy to steer and we felt safe the whole time. Even our dogs had a great time.

Booked the boat for my Husband's surprise experience. I did reschedule my book as the weather was tricky and I have a bad fear of the rivers, so at least I try to make sure the weather is not too scary as well 😂 but the ‘On a Boat’ staff was helpful and very understanding of my situation. They are very helpful and easy to contact and they will contact you as well for any changes in the arrangement. Other than that, The boat is clean, it has Bluetooth speakers, easy to operate and yes they rescued us when we accidentally went in the direction they were not recommended. They watching your safety as well 👏 You won't regret this experience to enjoy the city.

A little surprise for hubby's birthday. Great way to spend a couple of hours! Recommend 2 hours as it goes by rather quickly. We brought the eskie with drinks and a grazing box, and the dog! Staff were great, the bluetooth speaker and seat cushions were a bonus. Loved it!

Great day out with the work girls. Sun was shining, loads of Melbourne sights to take in as we headed towards Richmond. Easy to navigate and drive and 2 hours was plenty of time to even have a small stop halfway.
