Walked into Hour Glass over the weekend without any expectation, mainly for a quick browse but ended up staying for a good while. Assisted by Rain who is absolutely fantastic! Rain is extremely knowledgeable, helpful and patient, which made the experience very very enjoyable. In addition, I never felt rushed and Rain was very encouraging in showing me many watches. Another awesome feature was that they had plenty of different types of Rolex and some Patek which you could admire and try on (for example I was always intrigued by the James Cameron Deepsea, but only after trying it on did I realize it was a bit too large for me). The entire experience is what you would expect and hope for in a luxury watch store, and a lovely change from walking into stores with empty displays. Had an amazing Friday afternoon at this store and we were warmly welcomed by Peter Yeoh. A young gentleman who is truly passionate about watches, very knowledgeable and had shown us the highest level of customer service possible. He was extremely friendly and patient, assisted us with trying on different exhibition pieces while sharing many interesting stories of Rolex with us. Although our desired Rolex watch is unavailable, but he did not leave us disappointed. We will return for sure.

I could not believe my eyes when they were met with cases full of display Rolex models from every single collection. As somebody who has been in the hobby for several years now, but was yet to even look at, let alone hold and wear some of the pieces of my dreams - my experience at The Hour Glass was like being a kid in a candy store. I was also notified that all displays will be permanent! This is a huge step in the right direction that I hope will be adopted by all Rolex authorised dealers. Alex was great - he tentatively listened and took notes of my interests, though most of my time was spent breathlessly admiring some of my grail pieces. After a lengthy discussion with Alex, I felt confident that all of the pieces sold at The Hour Glass were finding the wrists of the right customers.

I reckon it is safe to say that it is the right time to write a review. I have been into multiple other watch outlets and was never treated the same way as the amazing team in The Hour Glass. I am very pleased and thankful for everyone in The Hour Glass for taking their time to slowly show me all the amazing watches that were displayed in the store, and don't get me wrong, there were tons of watches to view through. Sifting through all of the amazing watches, Jericho, which was hands down one of the most knowledgeable and down to earth sales representative that I am proud to be able to call a friend, talked to me patiently for hours about my passion for watches which made my time there extremely pleasurable. I made an enquiry to the Hour Glass(Tudor Boutique)online re the Gilt BB58 , and was pleasantly surprised when I received a courtesy call back within 24 Hrs. Logan introduced himself, asked me a few questions about preferences, and alternatives, and honestly explained the current demand for my preferred choice. However, true to his word, sometime later I received a call to say that a watch was available. The best part is that when I went to collect my watch, I felt welcome in the store, and that my business was valued. I went in to the Hour Glass' store on the weekend with my fiance to look at Rolex's after having a positive experience buying a Tudor from them, and receiving a recommendation from a friend. I didn't have high hopes due to the current state of the Rolex supply issues, however the experience I had was fantastic. The service received from Rita was amazing. It was refreshing to interact with a passionate staff member who had the best interests of her potential customers at heart. She made the entire experience a positive one, and definitely made the possibility of a lengthy weight less daunting, and almost something to look forward to. If you are to visit an authorized dealer for any of the watch brands The Hour Glass represent, I would strongly suggest a visit. Both experiences I have had have been 10/10 and I won't look elsewhere in the future. Rita from Rolex is one of the most valuable assets the company has, and I look forward to our next interaction. EDIT BELOW Following my initial consult with Rita, I had checked in to see whether there was any progress. Unfortunately it was revealed that she was no longer with THG, and I feared my place in the ever extending line for a watch had extended. I was seen by Josh, who was an amazing staff member, and he filled me with confidence that there would be no change to the timing of when I could expect a watch, to which he delivered on his promise. Josh called me on a Sunday and advised the watch had come in not long after my second visit. It shows that the dedicated staff and THG are committed to delivering to customers. I couldn't be happier with his service and the THG for making this happen. A perfect watch for every occasion. Whether in the office or out on site.

My dad and I spent the day going around the city stopping by many dealerships and The Hour Glass was our last stop. We had the pleasure with speaking with Alex and Makhosi and immediately you could you tell that these guys were really passionate about watches. The dealers were honest with us about stock and wait times, and we felt like we could be honest as well and not beat around the bush. This was a space that we didn't feel judged or looked down on unlike other dealerships. It was also a great place to just nerd out about the history and amazing technology these watches have. We were in the area and wanted to try some watches so stepped in Hourglass, from the time of entering the store I was greeted by the doorman and then Fina helped us look at some watches. I registered my interest in a Rolex DateJust, and he has managed to source that for me in a short period of time. LUXURY AND CLASS ON ALL LEVELS. I am an avid collector of watches, but I have never bought from an AD before. I did my research and picked out The Hour Glass solely on the fact that they actually have watches to look at and try on. I was greeted by Daniel, and I knew within 60seconds I had made the right choice as sophistication, knowledge, enthusiasm and professionalism just oozed out of him. Staff at store entry and those I passed were all polite and welcoming. Daniel showed me the Rolex pieces I came to enquire on, and we spent a good hour talking about the watches, as I tried them on. There was no rushing, the store was very busy, but every customer was given their time. Daniel showed a level of professionalism and courtesy that you dont come across often, it was a cut above. Once I registered my interest on a couple of pieces I am missing from my collection, I was ready to leave, but on the way out Daniel pointed out the Tudor pieces they had in stock, as I mentioned I had a Tudor Chrono. I liked the look of one and told Daniel I would think about it. There was no pushiness, Daniel gave me his card and I was on my way. I messaged Daniel the next morning and told him I would buy the Tudor I looked at and would be in the next day. I visited today after regular communication with Daniel and not only did I buy the watch, he also assisted me with arranging a service for my Daytona and based on how well he gauged my watch interests from our chat, he picked out another special Tudor piece to show me, which I immediately loved and bought too. All in all, I spent around 3 hours with Daniel and every minute was enjoyable and a personal experience. Definitely the start of a long term relationship. I wont be going anywhere else when I do my yearly watch purchase....thanks to the entire staff.
