Great experience here which is totally different with the usual escape rooms. We never played VR escape room before but we straight chose the Chernobyl, which was one of the hardest one. The first 10-15 minutes into the game, we were basically familiarising ourselves with the control and the environment. I must say that the graphics were impressive and the gameplay was good. The staff were super friendly and very patient with us even though we started a bit late. Highly recommended if you like to play escape rooms.

We booked out the space for a couple of hours (booked for 24 people) as the first activity for a bucks. It was a fantastic activity for a group of people that had only just met and was really immersive! Sam did a fantastic job facilitating the sessions, and was so easy and seamless to work with. Thank you for letting us connect to your speakers, bring our food and other activities - was an awesome start to the day.

Have been here 3 times now and it’s fabulous! So much fun! The gorgeous guy & gal (we’ve dubbed them “God” and “Queen of Hearts”) are so great at just putting you at total ease if you’re old like me and not a gamer. Fun for all ages. I’m totally addicted now!

We stopped in on a cloudy day last week and had an excellent session at Apsis VR. The place is roomy and clean and comfortable. We had amazing service which was over and above expectations. We will definitely return when we're in the city again and we would (and will) recommend to anyone else.

I’ve been here twice, once last year (which was a lot of fun) and again recently with friends. The venue itself is really bland and barely an experience. The staff seem less excited than they were last time (I did have different people last time though). A little disappointed at the difference in service.

We love this place! The staff are amazing and we always have the best experience here. The VR visuals are insane and they have different game themes and levels to cater to everybody! Definitely a must-do activity if you’re ever in Melbourne! ☺️

I did the Sanctum room with my partner. I've done a lot of escape rooms and if you are going to compare to them, then this one is poor. In my opinion this falls well short of being a good escape room, mostly just 'walking' around trying to find items rather than solving puzzles. However the VR experience is good, but it surprised me you don't actually walk around you just use remotes to move. Probably wouldn't go back.

Fantastic experience! It was fun, we went as a team of 2 and got through it with some help from the incredibly helpful staff. Would definitely visit again.

Best VR experience ever. This was our first time doing it and could not fault. The staff for friendly and very helpful, graphics were that realistic it made you feel right in the game.

Would have loved to give good review, however was given incorrect advice from supervisor to look at a tree close to exit, when this tree was in a completly different location wasted 10-15 min of our time, no support when called after. When frustrated finally had to remove headset to ask what happened, was told the headsets stopped working.. When finally entered a Aesthetically pleasing environment we were given only one minute to explore the environment.. Would have been good if correct information was given and added time to at least explore a good looking room as time was wasted with malfunction. Unfortunately walked out extremely disappointed in experience, would have been happier if they just added 10min but walked out feeling cheated.

I had an absolutely incredible experience at Apsis VR Escape Room! The staff were so welcoming and nice. They went above and beyond to make sure everyone was comfortable with the VR equipment. Their helpful guidance made the whole adventure even more enjoyable. As for the games, they were mind-blowing! The attention to detail, creative puzzles, and immersive environments truly transported me into another world. Definitely one the best VR experiences in Melbourne. Kudos to the team for crafting such an unforgettable adventure!

Amazing place. My 11-year-old enjoyed the hole experience and can't wait to come back for more fun. He enjoyed the arcade games so much. So many different games to choose from. Staff are lovely and very helpful. Will be back definitely.

This was such a cool experience! This was my first VR experience and it was amazing! Even though we didn't make it through 50% of the actual escape room aspect, I honestly didn't care - it was so surreal being "in the game". The graphics were fabulous. At one point I went to lean on the wall, completely forgetting there was actually no wall in front of me! It was spooky, scary, and so much fun. I really can't wait to go back again!

Fantastic! Was easy to move with controllers and pick things up! Great team building exercise for my boyfriend and I :-D we loved it! Excited to come back and try a different challenge 😎 the staff were really helpful and explained everything really well and even gave us a bit of extra time at the end because we were so close to finishing to mission!!

Incredible experience and amazing customer service from the two Apsis staff in our session today. We were welcomed warmly, everything explained really well, and we were offered additional time to finish our mission at no extra cost, or concern to the team as they cheered us on to the finish line. Thank you very much for an awesome day and we will be back!

Had an absolute blast here! We hadn’t done an escape room or virtual reality before but we were super impressed with the whole experience. The staff were super helpful/friendly and they helped us choose a game and then let us play a bit longer when we had run out of time but hadn’t quite finished! Will definitely be doing this again :)

We LOVE Apsis so much! Their games are so much fun and great for escape room lovers who want to try something a bit different! My partner and I had the best time ever and are still raving over our time in the Alice game!! This was so awesome! Took 15 x 11 year olds for a birthday, Sam was amazing so patient and welcoming! The kids played the Christmas game and they all said it was the best thing they’d ever done. And really handy location, 2 mins walk from Flinders Station. Cannot recommend Apsis VR highly enough! Thank you Sam and your team!

Huge fun for kids and families. If you've never done VR before, the staff patiently talk you through the controls and advise on the best game for first-timers. Slightly hard to find the front entrance if you arrive early, but this is minor stuff. And they do kids' birthday parties, so I'm sure we'll be back.

We decided to celebrate my partner’s birthday with a fun escape room. After a quick Google search we found Apsis and decided to go the VR way. The escape room is really well thought. Top notch equipment (HTC vibes) drives the experience and the staff is very friendly to explain everything if this is your first time. There are 3 difficulty levels; we went with the Alice in Wonderland medium and let me tell you, it is a challenge. Our team was conformed of 6 people, 3 experienced gamers and we found it fairly complex. So be prepared to put your brain at work. The graphics are very good, the interface works well and even though we had some technical difficulties, the staff was always there to help us and solve the issue. We will definitely go back to try another puzzle, the price is fair for the experience and the escape room VR twist is fun to try.

We as a family of four enjoyed this new experience and kept on talking about it for weeks. We would really consider performing it again. We do wish there are more outlets around Melbourne.

The GO TO place for genuine extraordinary VR experiences. Second time and incredible to experience another world. We play it as a family and friends. You can't explain it without doing it. The staff are brilliant. The site is so clean and top shelf. Only place I'll ever go to. So much fun.

Wanted to try a new experience with the escape rooms, saw the Google reviews to this place and decided to give it a shot. To my surprise, this was the worst escape room experience I have ever had. When you walk into the building you are greeted by a very dull and bland atmosphere, coupled with rude staff who are so unenthusiastic you want to leave before you begin. When you are put into the vr experience, the visuals are amazing, which is the only reason why this review is not one star. However, from the bugs within the game getting us stuck for 10 minutes without receiving any help from the staff to hearing other groups solving puzzles within the same room, not letting my friends and I hear each other, I cannot stress enough, do not go here, just do a normal escape room.

Experience overall was good. We did the Mission Sigma experience. Graphics were impressive, but having played Zero Latency a number of times, perhaps my expectations are too high fro VR experiences. Our session also felt rushed as soon as we got there & went for around 40 mins despite being advertised for one hour. Still a nice experience but not sure I would go back to be honest.

I really love escape rooms. When I heard about this new VR escape room I had to try it. My friend went with me and i had a great time. We weren’t sure which game to choose so Wes helped us and recommended Alice, which was amazing. All the elements and colors in the game made the experience. Although I struggled a bit during the game, my friend was smashing it and helped me pass all the levels. We defeated the queen of hearts in the end 😎

We had an amazing time playing Alice! The graphics were insane, it made me feel like I was teleported to a new world. I would also like to thank Wes, our game master, who was great and helped us when we needed, in order to finish the game successfully! 100% recommend and can’t wait to try another game 🤟

Absolutely awesome experience. This was given as a gift and honestly we didn’t realise it was VR. I was momentarily scared to move off the “box”; I was standing on, even though I knew I was on solid ground! So much fun! Five star recommendation, I’ll be going again soon. The staff were so helpful!

Took the kids there for the first time VR escape room. They all loved it. Hearing them discussing clues and laughing mad me and the other moms so wanted to try. We then added another session for us and extended the kids'. Very different experience and definitely worth a try. The graphics and atmosphere was really real. For s scared cat like me, the Sanctum game felt so real and chill. But kinda excited. But too bad that it was our first time and we were so inexperienced to look for clues so we didn't finish the game. Will definitely try next time.

I played Sanctum and I really enjoyed this game. The staff were so nice and helpful, I never played VR games before so I was pretty nervous. They talked me through all the games I was interested in and I followed their advice for beginners so I would have the best experience, and I did. This activity is great to do alone or with a group. I will be coming back for more games!

Thanks Dean for running us through the game options and helping us decide on playing 'Alice', an awesome Alice in wonderland puzzle adventure! The set up at Apsis is great with overhead VR wires so they don't get in the way during the game! I had an issue or two with controller disconnects during my session but Dean quickly helped me into another space and added on 10 minutes for the inconvenience which was needed as it turned out! Keen to try one of the 'intense' experiences on my next visit!

Absolutely amazing experience! So fun and exhilarating. Went with 7 friends and we separated into 2 teams played the same game to try and beat each other's escape time. Great that it was sectioned off from running into people. Staff was very informative and recommended me a very fun game for a first time player. Will definitely go back and try the harder games. Total recommend!

We did the easiest set to have fun for our first time. And we had great fun. Will go back when saved up a bit to afford it again.
