Terrible customer service. Picked up 2 items that were on sale and staff tried to charge me full price. Even after giving them the sale tag and showing them the item on their website, they couldn't put the right price. Ended up not buying what I eanted because of this. Better off going to Best Friends Pet, knowledgeable and friendly staff every time.

I would give 100 stars for Thomastown pet ban the fix me up with things to keep 2 week old kitten I found give me discount on milk an went in today an had 30$ to my name they give me a bag full of spot on an heaps of other stuff an lord Smith would not help me less had $300 to do enything to my cat other wise do nothing petbarn give free im on disability support pension so no money at all struggle to eat cat comes first petbarn save me this week thanks heaps😁🧡❤💖👌👍

Very friendly staff and good prices

Went into the store Thursday 28/12/23, two lovely gentleman assisted me with everything, and even offered to carry the large bag of dog food I purchased out. Very polite and knowledgeable staff, I trust this pet barn and their staff over other locations.

The store manager was extremely helpful with product knowledge and our kittens love their new food.

Prices were a little different at the checkout ($5-$10 difference) than what was advertised but other than that, I'm happy with the service provided! Received my order the next morning and the box was finally the right size and not overly large for the product size.

I'm not sure which Petbarn this review is for (it just says Petbarn) & I've been to 3 different ones recently but they all have great service. If you want to see if that store has what you want go online store, select click & collect location, add the product you want to your cart, once added go to your cart and it will show you if that product is in stock at your selected Petbarn. That way you're not wasting petrol & time if they don't have what you want in stock.

I shop at the Eltham store and to be fair I've never come across a team of people that are so helpful and so professional congratulations to the store manager Emily for having such a well organised shop and such happy employees willing to go out of their way to help with anything you ask of them 2 thumbs up.

It's alright. Located in business Park close to freeway. It was quiet. Came for live fish, quite pricey compared to local aquarium shots.

Good range of products however far too overpriced. The same products can be bought 30%-50% cheaper elsewhere. Particularly online pet stores. For example 5kg Hills Science diet puppy dry food at Petbarn is $150 dollars. Online at Pet circle it's $110. A simple aluminium dog bowl 15 dollars at pet barn, at kmart the EXACT same one is 3 dollars.

Amazing service from Gaylene and the team with my training and lead questions. Even encouraged me to bring my dog back in so they could show me how to fit and use a halti. CHECK YOUR RECEIPT! I don't know if it's all Pet Barns or just this one, but they continuously overcharge me. I don't think it's intentional, but for whatever reason their tickets don't match what comes up on the computer at the register but it's pretty poor business practice. Won't be shopping here again, especially due to the lackadaisical apology on the 3rd time in a row this happened.

A little on the expensive side for some items but the dog beds were very fairly priced, especially the outdoor beds. I ended up paying less than half for a bed than what I thought I was going to have to spend. Staff are friendly and very helpful

The last 2 times I have attended this store, I have noticed staff are very opinionated with their advice! On neither occasion did I ask for any advice, I asked where the product was that I was looking for. The advice I was given was not at all right! I would hate it to happen to someone that is actually looking for guidance and advice. On both occasions it was the younger staff. I find the staff there have no experience or expertise too offer.

Very helpful and friendly staff always ready to help you. I was running out of pet food and had to buy some urgently only to found out that the 2kg bag cost the same as a 4kg bag elsewhere. Disappointed. Friendly staff but not friendly prices.
