We came just for the shadow puppet performance and enjoyed it so, so much! They've just started back up since covid and we were the only two people in the audience, but these talented young men gave such an earnest, professional, and personalized performance that I was deeply moved. $12 entry fee gets you a ticket and a cold drink--and a wonderful hour-long performance. The night we went they did a short theater/dance number about modern plastic use. It was relevant and very powerful. The second act was a traditional shadow-puppet show and was much lighter--slapstick comedy style. All this to say...you can't miss it! It was such a magical night for us and I wish these young performers much success. The show starts at 8:30 pm and you can reserve a spot by messaging them on their Facebook page.

A Buffalo Story is recommended as it shows about local life and it’s funny which suitable for all ages especially if you come with family with kid.

We were lucky to see this show 1st March 2023 as they have just reopened post Covid. If you are in Siem Reap I highly recommend this show. A funny and enjoyable show performed by amazing artists and musicians using the shadow puppet style. Using both Khmer and English it was easy to follow the story and our children (4 & 6years) loved it too! At the end we were given the opportunity to have a play with the puppets and instruments ourselves. Go and make an evening of it, the area it is in has many wonderful local restaurants nearby. You will be glad you did!

Mala and John really have a nice venue. Fire ring, soft mood lighting made a tranquil atmosphere. This is a great place to just chill and enjoy a beer. The shows were unique. Snaps/Decoded showed the evolution of the temples with a model and historic photos. "Rhythms" all girl drummers had the beat. "Shadow Theatre" was really funny. Highly recommended!

To keep the Cambodian art thriving and spread the word to the world , this is the stage... The artists are good at their performance and if you are lucky you get to meet archie, the house puppy . He is just a charm

The show was good but the price for Cambodians and Foreigners is the same, $12, which exclude most local people from experiencing their own culture.
