This restaurant has been a second home during our visit to M’pai Bay. Since the first visit here we’ve always felt fully embraced by the host family, and the community that surrounds it. It’s a family owned restaurant with authentic Khmer cuisine. If you’re looking for a quiet meal, maybe this isn’t for you. Sitting here is always a different experience. The owner has 2 kids helping her with the business. She also has a third kid running around , lighting up the atmosphere by playing around with toys and his siblings whenever they’re free. You can eat here for every meal of the day. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. The only menu they have is the sign out front, facing the street. But some items are not on the menu. For breakfast(or any time of the day(if you feel like it)) they serve for only $2 Omelette with toast, Pancake with Nutella/Honey paired with Banana/Mango They also serve some fruit shakes for $1.5 Banana, Mango, Watermelon and Dragonfruit. For the other meals of the day I recommend the Khmer Curry, as it’s heavenly (especially with chicken). It’s only $2,5 Other than that the fried rice and the fried noodles are great for only $2. I absolutely recommend going here if you are in/ or going to M’pai Bay. It’s the restaurant with the greatest value for your money here and the best food! This was called Little Spicy previously. Small family wooden hut with outdoor seating. Great prices. Excellent chicken lemongrass soup $2.50, curry , bot come with rice , and $1 ice cold beers! Open from sunset for dinner.

4 weeks ago I just passed by this lovely restaurant. The woman/owner/mom was THE cutest! She cooked every meal and was raising her children at the same time (the kids are so adorable.. went there for the food and to have a look to this cute little boy tbh). I ask to friends to come with me and they did enjoy the meal too so we went nearly everyday to that place! Food is super delicious and the prices are cheap/normal. Sitting next to the street was quiet relaxing because there was not much traffic. I would definitely go to her again if Im coming back to this island!! PS: Pancakes are not on the menu but she offers it as breakfast or maybe just ask her whether you can have it as lunch/dinner too because it was my lunch

The sweetest spot on the island. Food is SO good and decently priced. Most of all though the family is adorable and the woman who cooks is incredibly kind and hospitable. I’m so sad to leave Mpai Beach simply because of this little restaurant.

The Khmer curry is absolutely delicious. And the owner and her kids are such happy people. Always greet people who pass by with bright smiles. After the meal, she even gave me a banana for dessert as complimentary. I think this place represents this lovely island so well.

Great place and cheapest place in the island. I loved the fact there’s a limited menu - the lady who runs it is amazing - tiny but powerful! Totally recommend all the dishes as I tried them all - especially loved the chicken lemongrass soup when I was feeling a bit delicate !
