A well thought out and curated museum that helps anyone--local or foreigner better understand the history of Cambodia, how far it has come since its more turbulent days and what has to be done to ensure Cambodia holds strong to its beautiful character as it looks to the future. The space is stunning. The open layout of the museum and its Cambodian architecture enhances the experience. I was very impressed by the museum. Well done!

Highlights peace initiatives, resilience, and moving forward rather than the hopelessness and destruction of war. Really good and with many lessons to learn from!! :)

Interesting place with good signs in English and Cambodian. I didn't see a single other person there when I was there on 9 Jan 2023 - no staff, no visitors. But everything was open. I recommend if you are nearby but probably not a destination.

If I could, I'd give it 6 stars. One of the few museums that talk about what happened in Cambodia after the Khmer Rouge. Poignant choice of materials, especially the photos of the young boys and girls practicing traditional dance and music in the refugee camps, the peace walks, the Cambodian women who participated in UN peacekeeping operations in South Sudan, and more. The museum doesn't have a ticket fee and I think it's a shame. It's well worth of a ticket fee and I hope this amazing place remains open. It's also set in 3 buildings in beautifully curated grounds. More people should visit this place, it's a credit to Cambodia ❤️

The management of CPCS may already do it. Otherwise, please include CPCS as part of tour package in Battambang for both local and foreign tourists. Also, please put in the info brochure of Prov. Dept. of Tourism. Blessings to everyone at CPCS. Thanks.

Amazing project and great execution. The history of Cambodia is rooted in pain yet there is more to it than war. This museum focuses on recovery and the engagement of Cambodians in peace efforts throughout the world. Do not miss it!

We heard it was free. Upon arrival we saw several signs saying entrance fee is $5. A4 paper signs so it must be very recent a change. We didn't pay and drove away.

Much could be learned by current politicians in the US,US, POLAND, FRANCE,AUSTRALIA,ISRAEL, Palestine Saudi Arabia, Gabon, Cameroon, SudN,Lebanon,Syria,Italy or in fact any country hell- bent on stressing differences and distinctions between people to promote their own success. The. Real problem is no- one is learning from recent history.... Gandhi was right when he said Western Civilisation would be a very good thing! The world is far too selfish and this ideology must become reviled....

A very nice little museum explains how Cambodia has learned from it's past and tells the stories of the people that have emerged to spread peace throughout Cambodia and the world. Very touching.

A really interesting and informative museum and a refreshing change from learning about Khmer Rouge rule in Cambodian history. The museum is really informative and talks about the UN peace mission in Cambodia. More information about in what ways it was not so successful might be included, however the staff were really knowledgeable and eager to discuss ideas. One even brought me a mug of cold water to sip whilst reading. Definitely worth a visit if you're interested in history and international relations!

Its a small gallery/museum. Very emotive. Shows the strength of the Cambodian population and the mindlessness of wars - still continuing...

A very nice exhibition about the war history of Cambodia, but mostly about the resilience of the people and the way they help others with their strenght.
