Me and the missus went here for our first holiday abroad together. The room itself was easily big enough for two of us. We went all inclusive and was not disappointed with the food. Lovely staff and really friendly. Spent 2 days round the pool and did not have any issues. Entertainment at night catered for Spanish/English and this is the only area I think they could improve on. But all in all I would definitely visit here again.

I'm so glad we booked this hotel. Staff are overall very nice and the food is good, overall its a decent selection. Location is great near to some lovely beaches and plenty to see and do, especially with younger children. However, you don't really need to leave the hotel, the pools are nice, although more umbrellas would be good, there is a nice little play area, daily activities and evening entertainment which is all good. The rooms are on the smaller side but again not a problem. It's very likely we will be back as the transfer from the airport to the hotel was also really good.

Family holiday with the grandchildren Rooms clean but very small, lack of storage. Good food choices and well presented dining room Pool small but adequate Our rooms faced the outdoor entertainment area which was really noisy if you needed to sleep ( early morning flight) There was also a cat sanctuary adjacent to this area and the stench of cat piss was overwhelming 15/20 minute walk to beach I have given it 3 stars as it has its good and its bad points Don’t think we Will be returning

Do not come here with your family,if you do expect to carry pram and buggy up the stairs,as people ate too lazy to use the stairs, expect to clean your room properly as the clearers don't do a good job, there ant's on the balcony as well, the hotel allows you to take your towels to the sunbeds next to the pool and leave for breakfast so there all takin so as a family of 4,with two young children you have no chance of getting near it for the day, free soft drinks are flat as well great if you drink alcohol but we don't as we have young kids. The foods ok breakfast is about the best meal of the day,as evening come for dinner its too salty for us very disappointed,I've also had to put plates back up on the counter as they are still dirty plus baby chair twice iv had to lift a bucket full of god noise what out of the baby chair and clean it my self for my child this was up in the top right corner of the dining area, our standard are minimal but this hotel just dose not meet them. £3.400 for 7 night all-inclusive it's just not worth it people, staff are nice but that's about it,if its your birthday they will wish you happy birthday and give you a €1.99 bottle of wine. As a family it's not for us our money and your money would be better spent else where.

The staff are excellent. Great fun, hospitable and can't do more for you. We've had a great time. Food is varied and there's something for everyone. Booze is quality and included. A great place that's value for money. At the end of the day, you get what you pay for (plus a little more here).

Great hotel for a 3 star. Rooms clean and tidy, modern looking and lovely views on to the pool from the balcony. One problem it seems that my shower is leaking so I’ve had a caretaker coming to the room literally straight after my shower as I’m guessing the room below is leaking. Certainly no big deal for myself. The poolside all inclusive bar is great and the rum slushes are so nice but very lethal 😂😂😵‍💫🥴

The hotel is ok for the cost, would not recommend for family, rooms are small, five in a room that is only really for three, they are NoT family rooms. Check in day arrived at 10 told room not ready till 2pm has a luggage room but had 4 hours to walk round salou , this is the norm with all guest arriving, one couple arrived at 2 and told 5pm before room ready. Pool area far too small for the amount of guest in rooms so no chance of a sun bed. Food was good, but hotel doesn't have good air con so apart from reception hotel very humid, activity and lounge rooms in hotel are kept in darkness, they don’t want you in there, if you ask for air con to be turned on in room get feeling they are put out. Outside bar serves drinks in flimsy paper cups that if you don’t drink the drink quick leak. You are told to leave the outside bar area at 12 can’t sit, and drink, have to go to your room. Lifts there are two very small lifts, but with the amount of guest took ages to get a lift. People with buggies having to carry downstairs. Some staff are friendly, but most are arrogant towards English guest. Will not be returning and not recommend.

If you’re looking to use the hotel pool make sure you’re prepared to queue every morning for hours just to get a sun bed. We stayed for a week and didn’t get to use the pool once as everyone would queue, put their towel on a bed, then nothing would be available all day. It seems many people go for the all inclusive option and stay by the pool all day, and there isn’t much room around the pool either. There were other hotels nearby that had room by the pool all day. There is also a lot of animation that revolves around the pool, and although we found it entertaining watching people sunbathing by the pool being hit by the ball in a water polo game, I wouldn’t say this is ideal if you’re looking to relax. The food is great, we went half board and enjoyed our breakfast every day, and stayed for dinner a couple nights, always a big selection of food available. Food isn’t restaurant quality, but it is a cheap buffet with decent food and everything you could want. Though it takes ages to get served for drinks at the buffet. Cocktails and drink options at the hotel bar were great. We asked for a pool view when we got to the hotel, and they changed our room for no extra charge. Had no problems with room cleaning, and staff were always friendly and helpful, including reception. We were given a towel with a stain one time, and the cleaners were very apologetic and instantly got us clean towels and changed everything. We did however notice a bad smell coming from our shower within the first few days, my partner works in the building industry so he noticed a lot of problems with the bathroom that could cause the bad smell. We speculated the smell was from the sewage and lack of a trap in the bathroom, and if so we were on the 6th floor so it could be worse on lower floors. I have noticed other people mentioning a bad smell in their reviews, and it wasn’t unbearable for us but could be something for the hotel to investigate. Overall, if you want a budget holiday and don’t care about the pool or are happy to queue for it, this hotel is fine other than the bathroom smell.

Just got back from this hotel, the rooms are well decorated and kept clean, only fault was they are very small, basically 2 double beds, a small fridge,t.v, and bathroom with walk in shower, only 1 wardrobe for clothes and a couple of bedside cabinets, for a family you'd struggle with storing clothes, There is a balcony with 2 chairs and a table. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food is a let down because there is plenty to choose from but unfortunately it's all cold, we all ended up with an upset tummy and so did other guests we talked too, the entertainment wasn't very good more like pub singers, Salou itself is lovely loads too do,plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from. It's a shame this hotels food let's it down.

Just had a 10 d5 stay here and loved it. Hotel was very clean, maids came in daily to clean and change towels. Food was fab. Went all inclusive. Had access to a self serve drinks area for beer and soft drinks. Room was adequate for what we needed, not massive but we only really sleptthere. Staff were very friendly and helpful. 5 minutes away for main strip if you want busy but quiet enough if you want it that way around the hotel. Children's entertainment daily. Plenty of shops around the hotel. Beach only a 5-10 minute walk depending how fast you walk. Would definitely recommend staying here and will return.

Only stayed for 3 days from 14/7/23 to 17/7/23. So glad it was only a 3 night break. Friday night dinner was ok, but the breakfasts were terrible. Also it’s almost impossible to get in the lifts during meal times, and the dining hall and pool are on floor -1, so if you have any mobility issues, you will find it difficult to get round this hotel. Rooms clean and average size for 2 people.

Stayed here with my sister and mother beginning of September. Was supposed to be for a week, but mum took poorly and ended up in hospital with a really bad chest infection. So much so, they wouldn't let her home without the assistance of a flight nurse. Ended up staying on at hotel best Mediterraneo for a total of 3 weeks. The staff were amazing, especially Estrella who managed to let us keep our room on for the duration, which was paid by the insurance. All the staff, were so friendly and were always asking for updates on mum. Credit to the staff at this hotel. Also Rachel from Jet2 was so kind and helpful towards us. Kept in touch and helped where she could. Thank you all so much. Mum back home and is recovering well xx

I wasn't in the hotel but my family was staying here. Its a lovely hotel. Close to everything. Can't comment on the food as I didn't est here but from what was said it was nice and a lot of choice. I did go into the room and they were lovely with a few English channels. The pool was nice but very cold.

I stayed here for a week with my family of 6. The pool doesn’t open until 9:30 which is somewhat ridiculous and there isn’t enough space around the pool for the number of guests staying here. We’ve come at the end of the season so can’t imagine what it’s like in the middle of July. However, the rooms are nice and are cleaned daily. The staff are all very friendly and helpful with a special mention to Alex. The entertainment staff were great as well, providing activities for all ages, with another mention to Meg and Judith. Overall, our week away was relaxing and sunny.

Location was great, rooms very small with very limited space for clothes (5 hangers for family of 3) good choice of food and staff very pleasant. The only negative about this hotel and the reason it was only 3 stars from me was the very poor maid service - (beds not changed, floors not brushed, had to ask for towels on multiple occasions, shower not cleaned for duration of stay). Also there were only two lifts for the hotel and 1 broke for multiple days which can make it difficult for wheelchair users or people with walking difficulties to access their rooms.

Room's were clean and comfortable, the food was lack luster at best, and the location was perfect. 2 minutes walk to the beach with every amenity being within walking distance. Some staff were polite while others were on the verse of an existential crisis.

genuinely the best holiday i have ever been on - no joke! ALL of the facilities are spotless, staff are kind and helpful. the food was beyond amazing, as a picky eater i was eating things i wouldn’t have dreamed of! the pool was always clean and there was enough sunbeds if you got there early😂. there was never anyone running or pushing, staff handled ‘sunbed run’ very efficiently. the entertainment was first class - special shout out to Megan and Alejandro for being absolute stars. they always made sure to say hello whenever myself or my family saw them, they are both incredibly friendly and approachable. they went above and beyond to make me feel welcomed and happy in the hotel, they even got me to sing at the end of an evening last week! Alejandro bonds amazingly with the children and Megan is great with older kids/adults, they both left us amazed at how well they work. as a 3-star hotel i was expecting less quality shows/daytime entertainment but it was all beyond anything i expected. despite some technical difficulties, Megan and Alejandro went above and beyond to put smiles on the guests faces and worked so hard to put on the entertainment we loved. a big big special thank you to these two for making me feel so included and for giving me a holiday to remember! ❤️

Told they can't give glass of water on all inclusive and have to pay extra to buy a bottle from the vending machine. Despite paperwork saying soft drinks and water are included in all inclusive.

Absolutely lovely hotel. Great rooms, bar and pool. Great location and met a lot of lovely people (Johnny and family from Ireland and Kelly) get special mentions. Would definitely return and recommend.

Only disappointment was we were not given water or refreshments with the meal as we only booked half board? We live in Spain and your meals always include water, wine, or a beer or lemonade. Apart from that good stay

Brilliant staff, Teo in the restaurant always remembered our room numbers and was extremely friendly. He even asked when one of us weren't there. Faraz, Akram, Arnold and the other waitresses were very attentive and helpful. On the minus the pool is much too small for a hotel that size. Hence we didn't use it. The food choices great but not if you're a vegetarian. Labels aren't on all the food and need to be clearer. Rooms are good but do need a thorough clean. As I noticed there was still hairs etc on the floor. They don't use vacuum cleaners. Think this would help them. Walls in bedrooms aren't sound proof nor is the double glazing. When booking this hotel don't take a room looking out on the road if you want sleep. As the road in this concrete jungle gets very noisy. Lovely shops close by and of course the beach. There's a lift by the door on the way to the outside bar. I would use it as lifts are small and busy. Please open your inside lounge always as not everyone wants to sit in the sun or outside.

Recommended. Stayed here for 10 nights at the end of September - for the price and star rating I really cannot fault this hotel. Rooms basic but have everything you need; there are multiple plug sockets, decent air con, a working television and a good shower. Cleaned daily. We went all inclusive and when we did eat at the hotel the food was fine - usual things you would expect to find in hotel buffets, along with a chef stationed at a grill to cook various cuts of meat and burgers on request. Special mention to the pizza which unlike any pizza I’ve ever had before but in a good way. Bar staff are great and even when the hotel was quite busy at the start of our stay they kept on top of queues easily. There is a self service Estrella tap and soft drinks machine, but this area of the bar was closed for the majority of our stay. Drinks on AI in general were good - Estrella, a local radler-type beer, sangria, wine, and a large selection of local spirits. The location of the hotel is good - we’ve been to Salou before and stayed nearby previously so we had no problem getting around, but for first-timers it’s less than 10 minutes walk to most places which are reasonably central, and 5 minutes to the beach if you’re a quick walker. Busplana services to Tarragona, Barcelona and various other places stop almost right outside the hotel at the bottom of a small hill which it is located one. I would definitely consider staying here again when we come back to Salou.

New hotel for us, good choice, tourist location, everything very clean and well cared for, friendly, helpful staff, good food, perhaps dinners had little variety, Saturday night nice gift of roses to the ladies and my little daughter. Treats for the children. Hotel entertainer boy, magnificent and brilliant in his work, equally with the adults and with the children, very patient, funny, nice, super friendly and pleasant trying to offer some fun, fantástic music aquagyms and "mini-disco" for the children with happy songs, which It is appreciated to have fun on your vacation. Friendly waiters, but at night they seem tired and wanting to finish, there was an option to choose a song from the customers with good music to dance to, they had it cut right away, 11:45 p.m., it is not understood, it is a vacation for the customers, Spain is fun. Choosing parking is difficult to find parking in that area.

We stayed here for a week from the 2nd August 2022. Rooms cleaned daily and towels changed. Good variety of food for all, entertainment every night if you like that kind of thing, it stops at 11 o'clock so that was good after a very busy days. Very enjoyable stay.

Great hotel, very clean, rooms with very comfortable beds, nice pool, restaurant with very good food, maybe repetitive dinners. Very nice, friendly staff. Excellent animation couple, funny, pleasant, very attentive with children and adults. Negative I don't see the hotel mascot, my son is disappointed, he wants to take a souvenir photo.

Stayed here fir the first time with my family for 1 week all inclusive and from day 1 it's by far been the best salou holiday we've had yet.... all staff members were so lovely and welcoming especially in the restaurant. The rooms were clean and modern. The food was great so much selection and difference foods ever night. Would highly recommend for family's!!!! All round great place 😁 definitely be back!

New hotel for us, good location, close to the beach and in the tourist area, everything very clean, good restoration, quality products, long meal times, friendly, helpful staff. Rooms perhaps a bit small, but there children. Very friendly daytime reception, immediate waiter service, very clean and well-kept buffet restaurant. Chambermaids rooms good cleanliness. Excellent animation with animator Alex, pleasant, attentive, helpful, friendly, tourist help, makes fun aquagym, children's games, happy mini-disco nights, the children have a great time, when it is their holiday they miss him, my little boy last day cried for separating from Alex, next year we will surely return. Good choice, I recommend it. Negative, the bathrooms and elevators in the afternoon after the pool, the clients are not careful, the floor is wet and dirty, I would constantly demand cleaning, being an area very frequented by everyone. The pet did not come out all week, we had seen a foam party, a snack party.

Really well equipped hotel maintained in an absolutely pristine condition. Pool is spacious and offering plenty of loungers which are all clean and in good condition, but get there early... There's a policy of not reserving loungers but it's not really enforced and they get towelled up quickly. Rooms are comfortable and air conditioning creates a cool little haven although the rooms might benefit from a chair and a kettle if I was to be really picky The staff are outstanding. Their patience and professionalism was exceptional, all very well prepared to deal with people who don't speak and Spanish whatsoever. I experienced a medical emergency during my stay and the assistance and concern they showed for my family was very much appreciated. Having gone with prejudged misconceptions of all inclusive holidays, I found the food is so much better than I was expecting. Quality food freshly cooked is served at the buffet restaurant and there's so much variety there really is something for everyone. Perfect if your kids like custard on their sausage and salmon! Good selection of free drinks on the bar and the measures are HUGE! There are cleaners everywhere and they literally scrub it top to bottom daily! Really easy access to some really nice beaches within easy walking distance anthough it is a bit hilly. My only criticism, and it's pretty herd to find one. As a Brit, we've had a bit of a culture shift away from public smoking. I understand in mainland Europe this isn't the case and it's certainly demonstrated very clearly all over Spain. However I can't help but think it would bring a lot to have separate smoking and no smoking areas outside, especially for a resort that caters so well for children.
