Beautiful food at this lovely new restaurant, with very friendly and welcoming service. The salmon was beautifully cooked and the pizza tasted like one you might have in Italy. We will definitely be back to try more of the menu. Thank you!

Alecco appears to be a new gem in Buckhurst Hill. So far I've only had take away pizza (3 times) but being half Italian I know my pizza and this place really hits the mark. The dough is spot on for me with great quality toppings flavoured to perfection. The rest of the menu looks interesting and I can't wait to sit down for the full restaurant experience. Grazie x

I took my sister here for a pizza lunch for a birthday treat. The pizzas were amazing. My neice who is vegan and has tried many said this was the best vegan pizza she had ever had. The staff are really friendly, welcoming and accommodating to any request that we had. I can't wait to go back and try more items from the menu!

The food here was wonderful! It was all fresh and delicious and very authentic. Between us, we had the risotto, arrabbiata, a pizza, and truffle fries. It was all amazing - especially the risotto. The chef came out to give us our food personally and everyone who works here is super warm and friendly! We will definitely be coming back and also ordering takeaway! Thank you!

First time was tonight .what a hidden gem .service was superb. Staff so friendly .pizzas was excellent felt like we was actually in Italy. No rushed to order .got there at 6pm .left after 11pm.everything was lovely .wine to dessert to coffee. Can't rate this restaurant enough. We greatly enjoyed our visit to Alecco Restaurant. All the food we ordered was very tasty and Wild Mushroom Risotto was exceptional. The customer service was also superb. Definitely visiting again to try out more things from the menu :)

Thought we try Alecco out after a refurb and pizza was superb. Pasta also good pizza stole the show. Menu has great selection without being to expansive so they can make sure every meal is good. Good selection of drinks and my partners rose wine was excellent. We had a takeaway pizza here a few weeks ago too that better than any of the chain pizza places by a mile.

Best pizza we’ve ever had! Sabrina the hostess and Alex the chef are just amazing. Tailored the pizza to our requirements by making it a bit more spicy, and it was lovey! Will defo be coming back!

I stumbled across this restaurant after searching for independent Italian restaurants since my local independent had ceased trading. I was not disappointed. I rang ahead to check they had availability and they were able to accommodate us at short notice however after being sat the place soon filled up so booking ahead is highly recommended. Being from the catering trade I am fairly conscious about the places I dine in and the hygiene though with Alecco I was taken aback. The place is immaculate and the staff top level. Upon entering we were pleasantly greater by Sabarina the FOH lead. She sat us and returned for our drinks order a few moments later after a brief chat to introduce herself. The stages of service were perfectly spaced out not to rush us or too much time for it to lag. We spoke of the menu and asked a few questions on the ingredients and she was able to answer every question in detail. The food arrived in good time considering everything was cooked to order and freshly prepared on site. The flavour and presentation were faultless. Portion size is perfect and the quality unquestionable. Alec the chef is very professional, and his CV speaks volumes with the list of establishments he has worked at with a certain Mr Ramsey's restaurant on the list and was reflected in his food. I would like to think I am relatively particular with my food, but I could not fault a thing nor would I want to. We had 3 courses with a good serving of drinks each, and I thought the bill was very reasonable for what we had. They offer many traditional Italian flavours as well as dishes such as Steaks and Fish. I do not believe you could leave this establishment disappointed from the food, service, or cleanliness of the establishment. I will definitely be returning in the future and, in fact, can not wait. I only wish I had found it earlier. Credit to both Sabrina and Alec, who were on shift during our visit. Although our bill came to £130 nearly half that was for drinks. I believe you could have 3 courses for 2 people for £50/60 with a drink each and that would be a fair price.

Delicious food cooked by a passionate chef, attention to detail was spot on! Squid and beef carpaccio were divine and our steak and pizza cooked to perfection. Service was friendly and welcoming. We'll definitely be back soon to try more dishes - thank you!

My family and I had a delicious meal at Alecco’s today. They took good care of us, particularly with a dietary requirement, they were very knowledgeable and reassuring. Every dish was superb and enjoyed by all. Thank you to the very talented chef. We look forward to coming back!

The food here is amazing! So nice to have an authentic Italian on our doorstep. We tried the crispy squid , burrata and beef carpaccio for starters. They were all delicious. The 3 pasta dishes we tried were the best I've had in a long time. The service was great, very friendly and it's nice to see the chef cooking all the fresh dishes in the open kitchen.

Came for the first time this evening to celebrate my birthday with my wife, kids and parents. The food was fantastic and Sabrina was wonderful. The lone chef in the open kitchen was an absolute machine and still everything that came out was perfection. Will recommend to friends and come back.

Friendly and welcoming service with good food. If I could only eat one meal for the rest of my life, it would 100% be the beef carpaccio starter! It was delicious (as was the burrata and pizza)!!!
