I chose JOIA for a special celebration, and it turned out to be the perfect choice. The restaurant exudes an inviting atmosphere that strikes a harmonious balance between modernity and comfort. The star of the evening was undoubtedly the cuisine. The dishes were a symphony of flavours and artistry. What truly sets JOIA apart is the breathtaking view of the Battersea Power Station. The restaurant's strategic location offers an unrivaled panoramic view that makes the dining experience truly exceptional.

We came in last night, the view was so good, the welcoming amazing! They took us upstairs to show swimming pool, the starters were ok, the main was not good at all:(!!!! We both could not finish the cod, we said it was not good and the waiter told us it is probably because we do not know what cod is😂( how funny) , I ordered dessert as wanted eye bleach after the main course and we could not finish it either:(((((((! Came back home very hungry! I have never had top table experience like this in London! What a shame! The interior is very good and we like customer service. I wish we could be refunded for this dinner.

The food was really good! All ingredients were fresh and we were not disappointed by any of the dishes. The Steak was exceptionally delicious. Adam was our server for the night and we couldn’t be happier. His eagerness to help us choose what to eat as well as his constant smile and positive attitude, made our night that much more special! Our only comment would be that the music was so low that all you could hear was other guests chatting really loud. Would have loved the music to have been a bit louder to cover some of the chatter!

We were served by Adam, a friendly and professional Portuguese man who knew the menu very well. He’s lovely. Order process was smooth and efficient. The place is beautiful. We will definitely be back again.

This is a great low key classy place to grab some really good cocktails. The service was absolutely great and the drinks were very good. The staff were all amazing. I highly recommend checking this place out and staying for a few drinks. I am definitely coming back next time I am in the neighborhood. Great views!!

Great ambience and view, good customer service but disappointing menu. I’d have to say Henrique Sá Pessoa is my favourite Chef and I’m Portuguese, so really had to visit this place. However little bits disappointed me such as: unflavoured “amêijoas à bulhão pato” dish/starter with “mexilhões” and mixing up Spanish food with Portuguese one. I usually only review in 1 or 5 stars, however will review with 3 stars because of the ambience and service itself.

A jewel of a place (joia means jewel in Portuguese) full of charm. Loved de combination of pastel colours and the ambient music conducive to a relaxed meal, the friendliness of staff and the unmissable view. The food was amazing: well cooked and excellent presentation. The menu consists mainly of traditional dishes but with a twist - like pão de ló (a traditional cake) with goat’s cheese ice cream (sounds revolting, believe me, it’s not). The suggestions made by the staff were spot on and made us very happy. The meal ended with a nice touch: they offered my friend a small birthday cake to celebrate his day. It was easy to book a table but it was a Friday, it might be trickier on a weekend. It may feel a bit expensive, but all things considered - neighbourhood, decoration, excellence - acceptable, especially for a special occasion. Really lovely. Highly recommend

Such a remarkable evening we had at Joia. The restaurant sits on the top floor of a hotel overlooking Battersea power station, and has a sleek rooftop bar for pre-dinner drinks. The food is amazing and it stay true to the Portuguese way of serving people: generous portions, lots of flavours and good olive oil! Service was friendly and efficient and the wine list was reasonably good (missed some of Portuguese reds). Definitely worth the visit.
