Much better visit this time round. Had chairs that were more reclined than the ones along the back row. Amazing show, very informative and almost fell asleep from the comfy chairs.

The show was great, speaker was very intuitive and engaging, overall worth the money. Just come on time for the events otherwise it’s a bit annoying when some people waltz in last second and interrupt the show.

A lovely hour or so star watching though it was a bit wordy, and more film clips would have been good. But overall an exceptional performance by a volunteer group of people who made you feel safe and welcoming and clearly know their stuff. Highly recommended.

We had a great time & thought the presenter was excellent, knowledgeable, well paced & easy to understand. I'd really like more animated presentations of the stars. The entry procedure was managed well by a professional group who are all volunteers

Never been here but found it very interesting. Did a show about planets and host was very good. Friendly staff, facilities good and managed to watch about life in space.

An amazing place to visit. I visit a couple of times a year and today took my granddaughter for a Christmas event. We were looked after so well and thanks especially to the lovely helper who let my granddaughter borrow her scarf because she was cold. We really enjoyed our visit. Thank you so much.

Have been twice now and I can’t fault this place…! Both shows were GREAT, and you can just tell that all the staff there is genuinely passionated and happy to be there! Would recommend 100%. (Small tip: arrive early to avoid the seats on the edges that don’t recline)

Amazing display off space and commentary. So much information. We saw the seven wonders off space. A fair price for entry. Only comment is parking it needs more signs up to give directions. People doing the parking were doing there best but from main carpark its a road to building you would think not to drive down

Absolutely amazing place kids loved it and I thought was really interesting

I would highly recommend visiting, we’ve been a few times now with my 10 year old autistic son, who loves everything space! John is a fantastic speaker, not only is his knowledge truly amazing, he is also a very motivating speaker. I truly believe he has been very inspirational for my son, who has learnt so much from his talks and now wants to go on to study Astronomy. All the staff are generally passionate about what they do, my son has high anxiety and struggles in social environments and the staff have been so friendly and happy to make adjustments to support him by letting him in first. Without their kindness and support I’m not sure he would have felt relaxed enough to to access this experience. Thank you so much for all your hard work 🙂

Approximately 30 of us went to the Planetarium for an office team building day and it was just wonderful. Everybody thoroughly enjoyed the presentation and it was clear how passionate the volunteers were. A huge thank you to John and the other volunteers! We shall definitely return!

I visited the planetarium with my 6 year old son in order to learn about our solar system. The building is clearly showing its age and the facilities are from the 1980s. The staff were professional and knowledgeable. However the show was outdated and the technology old. Closer to a PowerPoint presentation. I love watching documentaries about the cosmos. I would avoid until the premises receive some funding or upgrade their projector. A disappointing experience.

Fabulous! Well presented by real enthusiasts for the layman. Excellent presentation and great value for money. I loved it.
