Absolutely horrid shop with lots of unhappy trying to get benefit of their customers staff. Outstanding attitude to customers with no desire to help at all. Also the policy for returning items is auful as everything is on a credit note, so you cannot return anything with refund, only with the credit note. I would stay away if I could. Really. It is that bad. My experience was that I forgot my credit note, paid and remembered about it straight away. Said sorry can I please pay with my credit note instead. The answer was no, you cannot. If you paid that is it. But I asked if you could void the transaction as it was 3 seconds ago. No, we cannot compromise a store policy. What? It was a minor mistake that the second I tapped a card I rembered re credit note I had. I begged them with no result. And of course 2 credit notes is better than one. And probably a manager would get a better comission. There is no thought that customer matters and the grateful happy customers are the key to success for any shop or business.

It's a good shop with lots of great Football equipment. I would recommend it.

Customer service is very bad in this shop. Went to buy sports shoes and we felt as if they are doing us a favour. So left without buying. Also a very small shop with very less selection. Zero stars👍

2 days ago I bought a pair of Skechers trainers. I didnt have time to try them on as my car park ticket was about to expire. I asked the guy who served me if I could return them if didnt fit/suit me. Yes, he said. He didn't mention to me though only for exchange though. I am not happy at all about this..what shops nowadays don't offer a refund!! Not happy. Not helpful in store..even the Manager was not helpful. No customer service skills here.

Just went into sports direct for the, second time to change a jkt that was too small for my grandson. I returned to the shop a second time as it was pointed out the jkt is sold a TV sports direct. Card details verified but was offered a, credit not why was that. The jkt hasn't been worn I would have liked the money returned to my card.

DONT USE THIS STORE!! Ample of the staff members are unhelpful. Once bought a product that said it was in the SALE and when I took it over to the counter I had already payed for it and I noticed that it hadn't been taken off. I asked why wasn't it taken off, they said oh it wasn't meant to be in the sale. I then asked if I could have my money back and they refused to even though I had a valid receipt.

Ashley served me, he was polite and very knowledgeable.

Cheap and cheerful. I’ve heard a few arguments from customers and cashier.

I was not very impressed, staff didn't seem to be interested and not helpful at all.!

Popped in on Sunday to buy my son some football boots and left with my money still in my pocket. Two young kids upstairs serving one of them disappeared out the back and the girl on the shop floor was just wandering around and told another customer its not her job to help with the trainers? There were at least 4 other families there trying to buy trainers/football boots but not having much luck. No doubt they left shortly afterwards like I did.

This is one shop I'll never be going back to and will advise everyone i know thw same. I purchased a £40 trach suit for my 7 year old grandson 4 days ago. Returned home to find it was filthy around the neck so went to exchange it for another on. As they didn't have any I expected a refund or at least some money back. The patronising manager said he would only exchange or give a credit note. Neither of which was satisfactory to me as the goods were faulty. Ironically it was no cheaper there than JD sports so I know who will get my money in future.

Mike Ashley...He's a poor owner and you can tell is just in it for the money. It's all about the profit margins, not the customer service. He told my ill friend, Jonas Gutierrez, that he was service was no longer required, that he is surplus to requirements - how rude is that?! I think he should sell up and then maybe I'll consider a 5* review.

I bought a bag and i asked about refund policy they said that i can refund or exchange it within 28 day but thay didn't say that they don't give money back they just do a credit on a piece of paper. I want it to exchange the bag but they didn't want to give my money back. The menager said that he can only speak to the person that was serving me that day.

Good selection of sports products.There are some bargains if you're willing to spend time and the store is situated in the Ashley Centre. Footwear range is surprisingly broad and includes a range of walking boots etc..

Never has any of the shoes in size 9

Basic customer service, average. Despondent and apathetic.

Plenty of stock. Good prices. Helpfull, friendly staff.

Don't believe the opening times they canteen get that right

The guy I spoke to could not be bothered.
