4/27/23…-Stopped at Izzy’s and had tried something new on the menu and it was delicious! Chicken and Waffles with a side of fresh fruit. My son tried the eggs Benedict and as usual, Izzy’s food is consistently good. Thank you, Izzy and staff, your food is delicious! I just accidentally deleted my previous reviews! So sorry because they were from when Izzy first opened. Izzy’s 33 happens to be one of my favorite breakfast and lunch places! Izzy, the owner is so very friendly and his food is delicious! Joana, has always been a friendly, accommodating server. Your just going to have to take my word for it, the place is clean, there is a beautiful back garden and the food portions are more than generous, served hot and delicious! My personal favorites, the breakfast stack, the creamed chipped beef skillet, the quesa birria tacos, when on special and his breakfast burger is cooked to perfection! Now there also is a large selection of French toasts and breakfast sandwiches that are on his menu that I have been told are also very good. If you have not been to Izzy’s, you are missing out on a wonderful, local restaurant! 11/1/23 My son and I decided on breakfast at Izzy’s. So happy to see they added their skillets back on their menu. It could be a change of season thing; but, I’m so happy they are back. I personally love, the creamed chipped beef skillet. It’s so very good and so filling. As always, Joanna, is so pleasant and nice.

Finally found a great breakfast place that reminds of some of great breakfast places in Oklahoma. If you love a little spice for breakfast you need to come here. This small cozy place has outstanding selection. Check out there website for pics and make your you treat yourself to churro and hot chocolate. Before you leave.

Came here based on @FullOnPhilly's IG video and it did not disappoint. Great service, huge portions, and every bite of the French Toast dishes we had were memorable. Will definitely be back!

Wonderful restaurant great service I felt right at home. I will say I loved everything that I ordered especially their signature Blue Point crab soup. The best calamari that I've had in most of Philadelphia's finest restaurants. The chocolate mousse and creme brulee are spectacular. I highly recommend the skirt steak with chimichurri sauce for the garlic butter steak. Any one of their steaks is cooked to perfection definitely a must to revisit in the future.

Very impressed by this restaurant! I had the tastiest vanilla latte and ordered the loaded pancakes for my meal. Their whipped cream must be homemade because it is absolutely delicious!

The place is a little small but it was absolutely some amazing food. The staff were super friendly even though we were a really large group (26ish). We all had different things to eat but everyone enjoyed what they had. Portions were good as well! Looking forward to going back someday.

Get the Frescas Con Crema French Toast if you love French toast and strawberries!!!! Super decadent, super filling, super delicious! Very creamy and fresh! Absolutely delicious and will order it again! Cute restaurant! Lovely brunch spot! Very friendly staff! Cute neighborhood in South Philly. Street parking is very packed so plan to hunt for a parking spot around the block.

Izzy's Cafe is a good Brunch spot that opened a year or a year and a half ago. The Customer-service is always on point, in addition to the good food. The different types of French Toast, Huevos A La Mexicana etc come correct.

We had a delightful experience at Izzy’s 33! The menu has many good savory and sweet brunch options. I went with the Huevos a la Mexicana and it was delicious. My partner enjoyed his Loaded Pancakes as well. The service was good despite it being very busy this Saturday morning. Definitely recommend!

This place was a great start to my birthday adventures. We had a great breakfast. The crab Benedict was delicious. Also indulged in a mint ginger lemonade which was so good. Small space but customer service was good and food was delicious. Definitely recommend

Excellent service from Erena, excellent breakfast, very nice interior and exterior dining areas. We've added this place to our very short list of "go to" places in our neighborhood. Looking forward to coming back and trying dinner.

This place is such a hidden gem, I must've driven past it a million times. We had an absolutely fantastic breakfast here and will definitely be back! The carnitas skillet was delicious, but the creme brulee on French Toast was out of this world. Can't wait for my next visit!

My family is nothing short of blessed for having Izzy’s walking distance from us. All of the food is fantastic and the service is warm and welcoming. Come hungry because the menu and the portions are both huge. The antique tin ceiling is really cool and they did an amazing job with the space making it cozy but not claustrophobia inducing!

I have eaten here 3 times and I have been blown away each time. The food is unbelievable. Who is the chef?!!? They deserve an award. Do not sleep on this place. Both breakfast and lunch have been fantastic!

Pretty amazing South Philly Mexican breakfast restaurant. We can with a party of 8, called about about before and then again 15 minutes before arriving and was promptly seated in their outdoor patio. The fan was perfectly positioned and the area was so cute. All of us ordered different items from duck scrapples to the tostadas and waffles. The food for some of us was over seasoned, but for the most part, an amazing experience. Service was impeccable. Don’t forget the drinks! Cucumber lemonade and thr horchata were so tasty and refreshing!

Breakfast wake up call, perfect spot to start the day!! First time trying out this restaurant and definitely will go back to try all the other dishes that they have I had today the Huevos rancheros totally delicious! My son-in-law had the eggs Benedict Parking can be a little tough but not impossible. It is worth trying to have breakfast at this place.

Cozy BYOB brunch spot. We had great service and loved the variety of Mexican and Italian options and twists on food. Gotta have the horchata as well.

This is a must - quick and friendly service and food that will change your outlook on what breakfast should be. My partner had the coffee cake french toast which had a wonderful espresso sauce, the brioche bread was perfectly cooked. I had the chilaquiles plate, which had both red & green sauces which were both packed with so much flavor in their own ways. Can’t recommend this place enough!

Great breakfast stop in south Philly! Izzy’s has a very peaceful feel, and everything we ordered was absolutely amazing. It’s not a quick stop, but it is clear everything was made as we ordered, making it worth the short (15-20 minute) wait for our meal. We definitely plan on returning when in the area. Ordered: French toast with berries and whipped cream & chicken and waffles bowl

Wow! Arrived 9:30ish on a Friday morning. We were the only inside table. Others came in and went thru to the patio out back. Great service. Beautiful plates and super tasty! We brought our own champagne, ordered fresh squeezed oj, and had mimosas with our breakfasts. Service was a little slow, but totally worth the wait.

The food was really good. I really want to give them 5 stars, but the service was not good at all. They were very friendly, but if you didn't flag them down, they didn't check on you for refills and things of that nature. If they had been slammed, I would've given it to them, but it wasn't busy at all. Hopefully, they can get that very important piece together because the food was very good, and I would definitely go back.
