We enjoyed our stay and the food served. Steamboat was nice too with very fresh ingredients. Very polite and helpful staff especially the restaurants' waiters. Room is vintage, clean and spacious. However would suggest to refurbish cushion of the couch and also provide firmer pillows.

Absolutely superb. What a wonderful hotel. Truly. Great location away from town, with lovely views of the golf course greenery across the road. The decor is beautiful, the staff are first rate, and the restaurant food is excellent (both breakfast and dinner). Our Deluxe Room, Balcony, was spacious and well laid out, with a super bathroom. There's a lot of history in this property, and we were delighted that we selected it. I can't imagine staying anywhere else if we return to Cameron Highlands

The hotel is located in a beautiful location overlooking the gold course. Really good service and even the breakfast meal is not like other hotel. It is provided upon request and service is top notch. The theme is old school English style and the stay is very relaxing, comfortable and I do feel like I'm at a vacation. The receptionist, waiters and the staff in general are very friendly. My only wish is perhaps to enhance the overall look and feel so that it looks new despite looking classic. I will definitely return to this resort. Previously I couldn't enjoy the spa due to the waiting list, but I'll definitely try out the spa next time.

Absolutely wonderful staff and hotel!! Did their high tea and 2hour strawberry couple spa and I highly recommend both. Would like to specially commend your lovely front of staff Hafiz for being so kind and thoughtful during our stay. He knew it was our anniversary and set out to make it a memorable one for us without asking. The housekeeping staff came twice a day to check if we needed anything and made us adorable towel swans and complimentary flower/cake. The hotel is extremely well maintained and super clean and classy. Pls give Hafiz and your staff a pay raise and promotion 😄😄 the staff here truly go the extra mile 5/5 stars!

Very serviced oriented. Staff are attentive to customers, especially during meal times. Do take note there’s no lift in this hotel, so need to specify the need for ground floor rooms for elderly. Because I came with my elderly parents and though I specified that I needed rooms close to each other, I did not mentioned the need for ground floor, to minimise stairs climbing.

This facility is priced and marketed as high end Hotel . I stayed 3 nights unfortunately, it does not meet expectation 1. The breakfast lounge staff although were friendly and attentive but problem in conversing in English . They had my order wrong 2. There were white paint stains in the room hardfloor 3. The bathroom need to be upgraded . The Amenities are aged 4. The fitness center is mediocre . Does not even have a squat rack nor bench press. In general , at this price it does not stand up for for what I paid for

If you have some extra money to spend, do come here for afternoon tea. I highly recommend it. The food is great, the ambience is awesome and it is just a nice place to sit and chat with your friends and family. So wear something nice, chill and take lots of photos around the hotel. My only complain is for the pianist: please update you playlist good sir, something from this decade would be nice.

Speechless and in awe by the hospitality that we have received at Cameron Highlands Resort. Initially, we were skeptical if we were overpaying as there were many other more affordable options. However, we have read great reviews and decided to try it for ourselves. We were impressed! Service: Impeccable service from housekeeping to service staff... The whole team demonstrates their dedication to service. The warm greetings whenever we return from our sightseeing, the warm towels and tea when we first arrived and how they make us feel at home - home away from home. Special Mention: I would like to specially thank Ravi for his warm smile and amazing personality. My 7yo daughter keeps raving about how much she likes Ravi because he is so polite. I would also like to specially mention Kirtan who always makes sure we are well served during our meals. My hubby enjoys his conversations with him. Quality of Stay: Perhaps the hotel may be older than many newly sprouted hotels in Cameron, but if you are looking for a place that has a cultural edge to it, then this would be an excellent choice. I was worried at first as well since I'm travelling with kids and my elderly mother. However, we were all impressed by the cleanliness of the rooms and the way our rooms are always made up when we go out for our activities. The housekeeping staff made sure that we were not disrupted and like the story of the elves and the shoemaker, they always clean up quietly when we aren't around. Whenever we leave our rooms, it will be in a mess. When we return? Viola! The room is clean and fresh again! SPECIAL memories: My kids would definitely remember the fire lighting experience as well as the daily fish feeding experience. They had the chance to light up the firewood at the fire place and we received a surprise momento that warm our hearts like the crackling fire... The koi fish feeding was what my kids looked forward to every day after breakfast. Food: I'm actually very thankful that breakfast was served to us amid the rising covid cases. It gives us a greater peace of mind that guests are not handling food by ourselves in a buffet line. The pastries especially the croissant is our family's favourite. Please do give Gonbei a try for the steamboat experience! Some may find the price on the pricier side but honestly, if you want to have an amazing and relaxing evening, Gonbei should be on your list just so you can have the wholesome experience of steamboat at Cameron Highlands. The service staff are very attentive and it's really a great place to round up the day. To wind down, you can also head to the lounge for drinks. My daughter is so impressed by the pianist that her dwindling interest in piano was revived with this trip. >_< A huge thank you to everyone at Cameron Highlands Resort for blessing us with such a memorable stay. The Christmas ambience is spectacular so anyone looking for a last minute Christmas getaway, do check out the hotel.

We spent 4 days here and I have to say I was disappointed based on the other reviews. The Good: Hotel staff were really friendly The location is fairly central The free walk was really good and the staff were knowledgable on the history and surrounds The Bad: Not sure if it was just our room but the road noise was loud with with cars racing down the road at night (its on the main road through the CH) - they provided ear plugs but i don't get the reviews saying its peaceful unless there are rooms with better soundproofing? Again might have just been our room but the bed was not comfortable The food was quite a bit more expensive compared to other small luxury hotels in Malaysia (like the Danna, the E&O), the quality was just average and the options were limited. Think the hotel overall could use a bit of a refresh. Felt a bit tired but perhaps its meant to be a bit rustic. If you are a foodie there are lots of other options but you will have to drive to get to most.
