Decided to try this shop after saw alot good Google reviews. Almost went wrong shop due to blocked signboard by next door. Food : Amazing good especially the fish head soup n signature pork belly. Salted mantis prawn is so fresh n tasty. Service : Superb , patiently explain their menu. Environment : Clean n good place to chill. Reasonable price and highly recommended

Highly recommended. Their fish head steamboat is a must and so good. Broth is excellent especially during the cool breeze air. Ancessesstor pork is a must too. Service is great. Everything is good. No wonder review is so good!

Boss very friendly and recommended a few dishes. 1. The half chicken - if you are health conscious, this dish is for you. Almost no sugar no salt to a point, tasteless. Chicken is fresh though. The peppermint sauce that comes with this dish is unique, which is not my cup of tea. And it costs $40+! 2. Japanese pork belly - definitely enjoyed this dish. Strong flavor. Unfortunately certain pieces are tough and chewy while the majority are soft and tender. 3. Stir fry watercress - love it. Not overcooked, not overly salty. Just nice I am sure they have many other nice dishes which I have yet to explore. Just the hospitality alone, I will visit them again next time.

Food quality assured. The tea leaves smoked chicken with basil dip was superb. The locally grown watercress was so fresh and crunchy, while the piping hot claypot yam and chicken soup completes a wonderful dinner warming our stomachs in the cold night. Besides, for those who wanted to follow the dinner trends in Cameron Highlands, the restaurant, too, offers steamboats to meet your craves. The price was affordable. The hygiene of this restaurant was great. You can judge by how they maintained their washrooms. Old but clean. The owner uncle was so friendly and kept sharing his passion of maintaining the food quality and his life experiences. Overall a great and highly recommended place to visit for your dinner in Cameron Highland and I will definitely come back in my next trip.

A restaurant that we visited twice during our three days trip in Cameron. They serve super good food that we would definitely pay another visit! Their fish head steamboat is so delicious and special as compared to other restaurant, everything is just fresh, original, and just right. Their signature dishes such as the ancestor recipe deep fried pork belly worth a lot of try!! I could finish 2 bowls of rice with this dish!! “Home Taste” for real. Thank you for serving good food.

We went around 6pm, it was quite crowded but we only waited for 5 mins to be seated. The service was not bad, both auntie and uncle served us well. The dishes we tried were based on the recommendation given on google review. All the dishes were delicious, especially the pork belly! However, the butter prawn was okay only. We didn’t really taste the butter. Overall, it was a good dining experience here.

Food tastes good especially the ancestor recipe fried pork belly and fish head steamboat ! The soup from the fish head steamboat is so heart warming with all fresh veggies - not to forget the melting yam. We literally finish up everything ! Overall, food is so delicious and worth the price. Definitely will be back if we do a return trip to Cameron !

Wanted to check this place out after reading the many good reviews. Indeed, the signature dishes, Fish head hot pot and the Deep Fried Pork Belly, is a must to try. All the eight of us enjoyed the tasty food that evening. Food are reasonably price too. Chat up with the friendly owner Vince and even tried his specially concocted Sake, blends very well with the hot pot soup indeed. Thanks for the great dinner experience. Highly recommended when you are in the Highlands!
