Very crowded tea centre. It's quite challenging to drive up here by yourself. I would recommend to follow a tour which they will bring you up. The queue for the food is very very long. Many choices of pastry and cake. I love the green tea cake. The scenery are beautiful. Love the greens.

It is a very nice & relaxing place to hang out. If you want a nice breathtaking spot at the cafe, u better be early. Their cakes are quite good. They have indoor & outdoor. The road up to the plantation is quite narrow, so be careful when driving. The view along the walk-up is also very nice. There's also a shop up there that sells all types of tea. So if you're buying souvenirs, this is a good place.

I love the idea of opening a cafe here, you will be looking around at the beautiful landscape and enjoying the view here. Parked at the bottom and walked a bit like 5 minutes to reach the cafe. Crowd with people all the time, hardly even get a nice table in the balcony. Nowadays they have been extended the cafe and come out with some strange flavor of cakes, foods just ok.

Nice and cooling weather. Bring a jacket if u need. A lot of people on the weekend. This place open from 8.30-4pm. The road up is tight. Try not to drive big car. There are 2 cafe here. One is for high tea. One is for main meal. Car parking is free. A short walk from car park to the cafe. There is a tea shop selling the BOH tea.

Must visit place in the Cameron Highlands. Breathtaking scenery of greenish tea plantation on the hills. Weather is always cool. Entry and parking are free. There is an observation deck at the restaurant, which offers a scenic beauty to our pictures. The road leads to the plantation is too narrow at some places and need to drive very carefully. There is a factory outlet available, which sells so many varieties of teas from their own factory. We can do a factory tour at specified times, which is also free. Overall an ideal place to sit and relax by enjoying the cool breeze... Easily can spend 2-3 hours

1-If you are in Cameron highland, it is a must place to go. 2-If you are solo traveler and like to ride motorbike so rent one and avoid all those traffic jam and have a breathtaking journey.. 2-Other things you need to know of BOH; It is crowded, having tea and some cakes can take some time because of the long lines there.

One of the 'must visit places in Cameron Highland'. The view is still spectacular even though it's cloudy. The price is standard for a tourist attraction. The food is okay. Personally, they are good but I've had better mee kari and soto. The mushroom soup is delicious though.

On the way to the Tea Centre, you need to drive through a narrow road and required to climb the stairs reach the Tea Centre and café processing area. It's a nice place to chilled out at the Tea Centre. The panoramic views of the tea fields and the fresh air will make us eager to see the scenery. They offers a variety of desserts, ice-cream, hot & cold tea plus others beverage as well. It is nice to have a cup of drinks & munchy some dessert while you enjoy the beautiful scenery from the tea farm. However, don't highly expect that, the dessert & drink gonna give you any surprise of fresh taste. So far, it's only taste average.

One of the main attraction in Cameron Highlands. It is not that hard to get to but the road is small with lots of potholes. So do be extra careful while driving. There is plenty of parking space. If you have kids or elderly you can actually drop them off at the top. There is also a buggy to the top but I think you need to arrange it beforehand. The steps to the centre is quite steep and there will be a lot of people taking photos so be careful here as well. The centre itself is quite big and there is tour that you can join. The food is so-so, tea is just tea, and there are better scone elsewhere. The price is on the higher side. Tips: walk straight past the main food counter to the other food counter and seating area that is less crowded. Overall it is still a good place to stop if you are in Cameron Highlands. To me, just once is enough.

The BOH Tea Centre in Cameron Highlands is an awe-inspiring testament to the artistry of tea cultivation. Nestled amidst the verdant embrace of the highlands, its undulating tea plantations stretch to the horizon, creating a breathtaking vista of natural splendor. The aroma of freshly brewed tea permeates the air, inviting visitors to savor this time-honored elixir. The tea lounge provides a serene vantage point, where one can contemplate the beauty that surrounds. It is indeed a sanctuary of tradition and natural grandeur, leaving an indelible mark on all who visit.

Came here around 0630AM to watch the sunrise & the view is spectacular.. so worth it to wake up early to watch the sunrise so I recommend to come here if you ever come to Cameron Highland. We wait till 0830AM for breakfast at the Boh Tea Centre, the food taste average. The strawberry tarts is very dry 😅. Again, the view at the restaurant is amazing 😁

recommended place to visit!! TIPS - You can hike up, the first part of the hike is okay! The last 30 minutes of the hike is really scenic and makes it all worth it!! -If you are driving, be careful as the roads are really windy and sometimes only fits one car. - Try the strawberry cake, it is worth a try!! cendul cake is very good too!!

Nice view. Ample parking space. The road is narrow but manageable. Just stop at the shoulder when another car is passing from opposite direction. To get to the cafe, you have to climb the staircase. But if you have passengers who have difficulty climbing staircase, you can drop them off at the cafe entrance. But the driver still have to climb up the staircase after parking. Tea at the cafe was quite nice, but food choices were limited. At the tea shop, they only sell tea bags but not tea leaves.

One of the Best Heritage sites in Malaysia! Countless visitors made the meandering hilly roads to this award-winning tourist attraction to enjoy the spectacular landscape and the cool weather. However, the top draw in my view is the opportunity to witness the hectic routines of harvesting and processing tea leaves at the adjacent tea plant. Don't miss out other interesting feature of the visitors center like century old but well preserved tea processing machines and iron fire furnace located at the rear of the gallery. Both are worth a look. Unfortunately, factory tours are currently suspended due to the pandemic, and it's a real shame that tourists are discouraged from discovering the vicinity around the visitors center.

A must go place if you at Cameron Highlands. A trip will not be complete if you didnt visit this place. BOH tea company birth place and their Tea Heritage / Historical Site. Journey up there required a lot of patience but you will get endless satisfaction once you reach the Tea Center. A place where you can get super stunning greenery , great highland tea plantation views. Nice fresh brewed tea and variety of pastry is served here. You can purchase Boh Tea Products here at their designated shop. Sometimes they have a good bargain and promotion. Great place to enjoy with your kids and family.

I still find this place is the coolest and most relaxing tourist attractions in Cameron Highland. The only cons is that, you have to drive very carefully up here as the road is terribly narrow and you can just fall of the cliff there if you are beginner driver. So, better don't come here if you are beginner driver. But once you reached to the top, you can breathe the cooling and fresh air and have your breakfast or lunch here.

Overall, it is worth to visit this place. Definitely will come here when i coming to cameroon highland..

19.11.2021 @ 8-9am One of the must go hotspot in Cameron Highland... Road into BOH centre, certain parts is very narrow and blindspot cornering, advise to turn on your full headlights and before turning into sharp corner, pls give 1-2 honk. Advise only those who is skillful in manoeuvring their vehicle to drive in, or else it will cause bottleneck to others as they cannot judge the spacing and width of the road when 2 vehicle from opposite way cross path... My visit this time, the Korean Cheese Bun is a good pick... order teh ais which is most mamak taste better... teh tarik is so-so... but the main point for this attraction is the scenery for picture taking... food and drinks is secondary to me... pricing wise as is tourist attraction, basically its slightly expensive than your RM 2 teh tarik 😅... Compared to my last visit, saw a lot of improvement such as cemented parking lot, which had drawn up line and spaces. The small stretch of road beside the settlement also cemented now, last time is muddy when raining and we walk over wood plank put on the mud. The stair up to the centre seems to be maintain periodically. Last visit in year 2019, there is only 1 cafe and the seating capacity is very very limited. Today's visit, there is another cafe behind (but all items sold is same as the one in front) and the seating space there is even larger and more spacious than the existing one. And it seems they are expanding further at the back now. *Basically it's say open at 9am at Google map, but latest info from FB is 8.30am during this period.

Place is fantastic and the menu ordered were great. However some pastries were above average price comparing to other places in Cameron Highlands but its on top a hill so understandable. Place was aesthetic and staff at the merchandise store were friendly. There also they can give you a tour at their factory and give sample drinks for you to taste. A very good experience. The challenging part was to get there you have to drive at a narrow and scary route plus need to climb up 200meters to arrive at the place. Hence, its not suitable for everyone.

Largest tea estate in Malaysia with a spectacular view of the greenery. The roads to reach hilltop a little narrow hence require a lot of patience especially when it's the flow of vehicles are heavy both ways. Awesome cafe that serves good spread of pastries, cakes and of course many varieties of tea both hot and cold. Highly recommend for tea estate touring. From the hill base you may choose to drive up to the cafe or simply climb up the hill stairs to take in more of the green goodness.

A lovely Palas Boh Tea plantation and worth a visit although the road to the plantation is extremely narrow and very stressful to drive. The road is not recommended and not suitable for bigger vehicles. Other than the road, this place offers a very relaxing panoramic view of the green tea plantation. An easy walk through the stairs is required to reach the viewing deck and cafe. The cafe is extremely crowded even during the weekend and be prepared to queue for 1-2 hours if you wish to order any food or desserts.

If you're plan to visit this place, please be there by 8.30 am sharp! The road to BOH plantation is quite narrow. Limited number of tables available for breakfast and expect to queue about 20-30 minutes to get the table. Price for tea and pastries are quite reasonable as well. There is a BOH tea shop if you would like to buy various types of tea products (some of the products are very hard to find in the supermarket/mall)

Try to avoid going on the weekend as it can gets very busy. The road is unsealed and quite narrow. If you wish to take photo closer to the tea leaf then you'd need to make a stopped midway. For young kids or elderly, you could drive all the way up to the cafe and drop them off. The cafe has good choices of tea, dessert and cake, but it is quite expensive. The cafe also has plenty of big windows and huge panoramic viewing platform for taking photo.

No real access to the plantation itself. The drive to the viewpoint is a bit chaotic. The road towards the centre was not maintained as it should. Even though we were here on a Tuesday when traffic is expected to be lighter, it was right and congested. So I would avoid coming here during peak season. Having said this, the viewing point structure was nicely build. It was airy and provides a good view of the plantation. The toilets needs to be better maintained and cleaned though. There is also no toilet paper provided and some of the taps were broken. Having been here, I don’t think we’ll come back. Will probably check out the other plantations and probably some less well known and more exclusive trails!

Our highlight for the Cameron highlands. The view on the way to the tea plantation is simply spectacular. Our guide gave us a brief history of the plantation and also gave a brief description on the tea processing procedure. Once inside the plantation we enjoyed their premium teas and pastries at the coffee shop and stocked up on tea supplies from their shop next door. Being a public holiday the factory was closed but still felt it was a great experience.

This place is very recommended to go when you visit CH. You need to hike to arrive on top of the hill. If you bring elderly, you can drop them off on top of the centre by car. Then, you need to go down to park the car. The view along the journey is amazing and amusing. You can chill and eat at the restaurant. The price is affordable. You also can buy various types of tea at the centre and you can enter the tea factory to watch the process of making tea.

We visited in early March with our kids and had a wonderful time. The weather was pleasant, and we booked a day tour through Klook. The guide took us on a 4x4, which was reassuring since the road looked daunting for self-driving. The view from the café was spectacular. There is a boardwalk with stairs leading down, but we only went halfway before turning back. The area is surrounded by tea plantations, and we thoroughly enjoyed trying their tea and cake.

View is great but the food isn’t, but you need to climb a long stairs to reach this place so be prepared ya. And if you are driving, do take note that the road is very narrow so it is best to have an experienced driver else everyone will be at risk

Very nice farm area, mainly for the balcony views. Gift shop is also amazing with so many different teas and for sale at great prices. Cafe area is way too busy and service is absolutely poor with lines lasting probably 1 hour. Not good enough.

  • 4/5 Eric T. 2 years ago on Google
Long way which is approximately 2km with a narrow road inwards (from the main road) and at many points the road is small enough for a vehicle to pass through only. That's the reason it has many stop-over points to allow other side traffic to flow. This trip is slightly rough, and bumpy due to the potholes and bad-conditioned uneven road. The scenery is breathtaking, serene, and has a scent of fresh air. Worth the trip to enjoy some fresh air and beautiful sea-like rows of tea trees. If one needs to have a break or rest, here one could enjoy a cup of tea (eg. traditional, herbal, fruity, & etc.) and have a cake or two. They serve pastries too. On the opposite end, they serve Sorbet in many flavors like Mango, Strawberry/Rasberry, Lemon/Tangerine, Green Tea, Vanilla, etc. The best time here is in the morning and on weekdays to avoid jams and traffic woes. For information, there is a small Tamil primary school there (right below the BOH Centre) and school buses use this same road to transport students.

One of the best place to visit in Cameron Highland. Good view, good weather, good food and of course, good tea. The view is too nice where you’ll get a good photo No matter which angle you took from. (Blame the photographer if don’t get good photo. Lol). Better to be there earlier in the morning to avoid crowd. Need to beware of the route to the tea center as some of the place only able to allow 1 car to cross at the same time. Definitely the right place for relaxation with friends and family.

  • 3/5 Natavut B. 2 years ago on Google
The place is nice. The tea and bakeries are normal. I was also looking for boxes of tea gift but the sample mixed with sugar. I tried to ask the sample without sugar but the staff refused. So, I just can’t spend if I don’t know your product. The road is hard to access and don’t want to take risk of falling the cliff to that place, anyway.

Good place to go. Be extra careful in driving up as the road is very narrow and slippery with the recent rain. Some drivers are too impatient. Need to go up to viewing area and you may see the scenery and Boh tea factory. The cafes are selling the same thing so no need to crowd in the first one

The BOH Plantation and Factory enabled us very professional way to see behind the curtain. And behind curtain was a wonderfully maintained farm. Special thanks for nice visiting center where you enjoy the beautiful view and many phases of tea’s agricultural work (harvesting, create young plantation etc…) Or just enjoy a cup tea in the rural environment. The tea drying factory visit was very good with the beautiful smells. Of course, you can buy different tea product in the sample shop. If you’re not sure which than you will get appropriate information about the different tea.

Nice tea garden having great spot for photo shoot. Also have cafe with balcony. Foods and beverages price reasonable. Toilet can be improved, dirty and some spoiled cubicle.

  • 4/5 Felix L. 11 months ago on Google
It was a cloudy day but the tea plantation scenery was still breathtaking nonetheless. We took so many great photos around the area! The foods are slightly overpriced, and cake texture was bad. The factory tour was very underwhelming but I won't complain because it's free.

  • 4/5 Han Zaw O. 11 months ago on Google
The view from the deck is amazing. You can get only Tea. Not a coffee. Mostly crowded and if you wanna get serenity vibes by drinking tea, better not. People are full at deck for taking photo. Best spot to understand the green plantation and weather. Weather is around 20-22’C. Food is good. We tried cake and tea bags in variety. Tea Terik is a Must. Wheelchair assist is convenient but need to park at tea center. The lower carpark is by step only.

Adventurous narrow road to the plantation! Scenic tea plantation views. The access is by flights of stairs ***there are alternative tar road that go all the way up to the tea house, ask the workers around. Free tour at the tea processing factory. Free AV room about the plantation. There are 2 tea houses serving food and beverages with scenic views.

We have been a dozen times already & never get bored maybe because of the green scenery, weather, good tea & good food at their cafeteria. The cafeteria was huge with a hill view. Busy during weekends, public holidays & school holidays. To avoid it, do come on weekdays only so you can enjoy your time peacefully.
