Personally I wouldn't recommend this hotel. We arrived at midnight and asked for an extra mattress, and we were told that we had to wait until morning. The mattress was very old and sagging. For me the hotel is quite big and they should've used ergonomic mattresses as the hotel guests are definitely a lot. I have a spine problem, and the mattress was very uncomfortable. The bathroom was not maintained well. I could see clear mould on the tiles. The water heater in our room was not working well. The water pressure seemed to be the cause of the problem. Taking a shower was a completely unpleasant experience while staying there. The water was not hot or warm, and the food for breakfast was decent. The view was great, though. The only things I am happy with the stay are the breakfast and the view.

Contrary to our expectation from the reviews we read, the hotel was pretty decent. Basic good room. Spacious. Cleaned well and the carpet was clean too ( too many reviews on dirty carpet) we stayed in the new wing. The breakfast is below average. We didn't take a breakfast inclusive rate anyways, and only had their breakfast on the first day. There are other local places which were nice options for breakfast - walkable. Overall a good option to stay in. If the Cameron Highlands resort and the old smoke house hotel are sold out/ exorbitantly prices for your dates.

Nice location, great service from the staff. Efficient check in and out. Breakfast buffet was okay, not great. Got placed in a room furthest away from the reception, good that it's quiet. Very hot showers. Great for the cold cold night... Will be back again

Nice hotel with friendly staffs. Booked 2 queen bed room..mountain view..they have coffee/tea/mineral water in the room. Provide local malaysian breakfast if you purchase their breakfast. Covered and open car park for guest. They have children playroom/library/gym/pool table(1 hour rm20). Walking distance to Tanah Rata town and shop lots. Clean room and good spot.

I like the place. Very nice sort of like 4 star hotel. The room that we stayed is comfortable with mountain view. No ac, only fan (but can't adjust the speed) which is enough because during the night and morning it was freezing cold. The room that we took was super deluxe with bath tub and it was spacious. The room service was also fast and good when request to tidy up the room. Just that I didnt recieve toothbrush but got the the soaps/shampoo. The place is at the hill where you can jog here in the morning. We went here for honeymoon and it provides room decoration (pay extra). Overall it was a nice stay here.

*overrated hotel. *We stay new wing 6th floor. *Soap holder rusted *shower glass door faulty cannot close *When water fill in bathtub u can see the water not so clear, bit brownish. *No air con , have to open balcony door at night, facing main road, random loud bike/truck pass by will affect sleeping quality. *Cleanliness need to improve, we can see some left over rubbish from the last guests. *Carpet along the corridors got stains everywhere , looks like didn't wash for a while. *Staff service normal. *Mattress a bit hard, not comfy. *Breakfast never try, no comments. Pro : room spacious, easy parking(weekday) , reasonable price.

For me the hotel location are at decent place. Located at Tanah Rata with town just 500 meter walking distance down the hill. The hotel room condition are good with ample space of room and toilet + balcony. Some unpleasant experience happening during check in where the front desk give us the room that not yet clean up. However, they upgrade the room to Deluxe Triple which is great. A lot of siting area at lobby and they also got gym, child play room, library and coin laundry. This hotel is recommended.

Our Deluxe king room is huge & facing the hills & forest. We get to see a beautiful sunrise. While the sound of the birds & insects is so melodic. Tv channels are not interesting & blurry. Dusty furniture, dirty smelly & old carpet, dirty bedsheets, etc. But the bathroom is considered clean & the water heater works well. They provided toothbrushes & other amenities such as a hairdryer, etc. However, the surrounding of the hotel is not well-maintained. Can see a few rubbish. The hotel itself is very old & needs refurbishment. Their breakfast buffet is so-so. They have a small gym with treadmills. But it is way better to jog outdoors. A library with all Japanese language books. A coffee shop/bar (selling cakes, waffles, drinks), a mini-mart, an indoor playground, a hall & a snooker table. The workers are nice, especially the F&B team & the front desk. Parking is abundant. But the worst is the roadsides to & fro Cameron Highlands which are dirty with rubbish. Wondering if the authority even cares about tourism industry in CH.

The room was dusty and I could not sleep well. No bedbugs, but definitely full of dust mites which I am allergic to. Overall poor maintenance even in the new wing. Can't imagine what the old wing is like! The breakfast was terrible- chicken nuggets were not fully cooked (frozen in the middle) and the nasi lemak was hard. Overall not worth the price I paid for the family room and on the first entry in the room we wanted to check out, but we already paid upfront in full. I won't be coming back ever.

Had a two nights stay here in late March. A classic hotel with good amenities, a good location, and a good view. But the people running it seemed to not care so much about cleanliness. The carpet was dusty and stained, the walls had stains from water damage, paint was chipping off, and so were some of the furniture. There were also ants that crawled all over the room and some got into our laptops. We were very excited when we saw the bathtub, but the excitement didn't last long when I noticed the dirt accumulating at the bathtub handles, the rusty bathroom rack, and the dirty shower head. I would also have to mention about the absolute sketchy attempt to repair the remote control, why not just replace it with a new one? Outside of the room, the lift button looked too dirty to press. The breakfast provided was unsatisfactory at its best, as they couldn't even clean the plates properly. Great view, great location, great potential, but ran down by people who have no passion for their jobs.

It’s really an old building with not much spent on maintenance. The rooms have the rundown feel. TV didn’t work. Bathroom are old. Overall the cleanliness can be improved. Dust everywhere. Towels are old. It’s an ok place for budget traveller but don’t expect much. Buffet isn’t something to shout about. Less choices.

A 3 star hotel which surprises me as I thought it would be 1 star after my stay. Worst breakfast I've had in a hotel. Decor is 50 years out of date. No air con in rooms. Tiny beds which were rock solid with no space to even open our suitcases. Not even particularly cheap to stay at. Very disappointed.

Stayed in Room 432 and i was astonished upon entering the room. The wall paint is crumbling, the cupboard door is broken. Not only that, the door lock is not functioning properly, where is the safety? The room’s hair dryer was broken so we called up room service to request for another hair dryer. The worker came and gave us another hair dryer but the wire has been broken and it's been taped up using black tape, which is dangerous as it has a risk of a fire breaking out or get electrocuted. The windows were broken too, it can't be close fully and the lock wasn't working. The lighting of the room isn't good too. Besides that, the water pressure in the bathroom isn't good too plus the towel rack in the bathroom was broken. We paid almost RM300 and we only stayed for a night, but this is the facilities we get instead. Please improve your facilities and safety for customers.

I had a wonderful stay at Heritage Hotel Cameron Highlands. The charm of the heritage architecture combined with the breathtaking surroundings made my experience truly memorable. The highlight, however, was the breakfast – a delightful spread of fresh, local ingredients and a variety of delicious options that set a perfect tone for each day. The attentive staff and cozy ambiance added to the overall warmth of the stay. Highly recommend for a serene retreat with a touch of historical elegance.

I went with a tour group and was given room 558 at the new wing. Must say that the room is clean and spacious and offers a good view. Bear in mind that the switch for for fan is actually in the closet!. Breakfast is really subpar as what other reviews said. Overall I have no complains for my three nights stay at Heritage.

Beautiful, beautiful resort. This will be my go to place. Plenty of parking space, easily accessible to most of the stops in Tanah Rata, worth walking to most of them. Surrounded by lush greenery, Food is amazing! Their buffets is easily some of the best i’ve gone to. 39/pax. Room is huge and well kept, i love the tall ceilings. Wifi is decent, massage chairs are great, staff are super friendly and accommodating. Bath is great, and the pricing is super reasonable! Highly recommended

3* but feels close to 4/4.5*. Cozy feel, cottagey style. Quiet not much food spread during breakfast but hey, 3* right? Had the best room and balcony view. Family loved this hotel so much they wanna be back again.

Location os good in term of scenery since it’s on the mountain but 1 km from the convenience store and restaurant. The room is old and a bit dirty with no aircon but the weather is nice in Dec. the water is yellow. The breakfast is not good that i can only eat omelet.

The hotel is a beautiful old colonial style building on a hill overlooking the highlands. Overall is ok except for their pass card, everytime we go out we need to ask for a new one to enter again, Still will recommend

Title: Heritage Hotel: Disappointing Room, Outdated Furnishings, and Subpar Breakfast I recently had the unfortunate experience of staying at Heritage Hotel, and I feel compelled to share my review. Here is my honest assessment: The room I stayed in at Heritage Hotel was the worst I have ever encountered in a three-star establishment. The hotel itself is old and in dire need of renovation. The furnishings were outdated, worn out, and showed signs of neglect. It was disappointing to see that the management hadn't made any effort to replace or upgrade them. To make matters worse, I was charged RM230.70 per night for a room that offered such poor quality. It felt unjustifiable given the condition and lack of maintenance in the hotel. I expected more value for the price I paid. The breakfast provided at Heritage Hotel was equally disappointing. The quality and variety of options were subpar, leaving much to be desired. Considering the rundown state of the hotel, it was perplexing why it would be categorized as a three-star establishment. Overall, my experience at Heritage Hotel was highly unsatisfactory. The room was the worst I've encountered in a three-star hotel, with outdated furnishings and a lack of attention to detail. The fact that I was charged a substantial amount for such poor conditions only added to my disappointment. Additionally, the breakfast did not meet expectations. I would not recommend Heritage Hotel based on my experience. If you are seeking a comfortable and well-maintained accommodation with satisfactory amenities, it would be wise to consider other options.

Room: Superior twin Pro: nice building with a english cottage style theme. Nearby with all the necessity in the area and can walk to all the nearby attractions. Parking is free for guest. Cons: greeted with pile of dusts and hair lying on all corners of the room. Room much needed for a renovation and repairs, toilet stenched with damp smell.

Over all is good...but need maintenance... Price: 3 star Clean: inside room 4 star, out room: 3 star Bathroom: need cleaning as can be seen, there is some dark spot on the paint. A good jet hot water. Things available inside room includes products of cameron highland. I enjoyed the tea. 3 water bottles, 3 cup, water heater, coffee, freezing box.

Pros: cozy, comfortable, clean rooms, lots of drinking water, good location sufficiently away from main streets. Cons: 1. Room didn't have views - we booked a mountain facing room (in the new wing), we were given a room without any view in the old wing. 2. Not enough parking, we had to go around multiple times around the parking and sometimes park on the street. 3. Only breakfast is available. No lunch or dinner. 4. Breakfast for vegetarians extremely limited, just bread and cereals. 5. Very unclean crockery. 6. Room essentials like cream, toothbrush were not provided.

Enjoyed staying here although I thought that the service can be better. The free buffet breakfast are great and yummy. Morning view was spectacular

The hotel is located in a prime location so accessibility is super close. The views from the hotel are magnificent, the new wing is relatively much better, prices are affordable. The breakfast is however highly disappointing, no vegetarian options, no fresh counters and mostly Malay food with no variety, so if you’re ok with that there shouldn’t be any complaints. It’s cold so make sure you carry some warm clothes, no aircon in the rooms as the weather is chilly enough for you. No fancy amenities but whatever they have is decent. Parking is ample on the premises.

This hotel has friendly staff delivering warm towels and other needs to guests right after a phone call. However room cleaning may have missed a few too many spots as dust noticeably accumulates on the surfaces of furniture, lamps, drawers, corners of the room. Maybe everyone is content with rooms in the new wing while I'm in the old wing. I love the balcony here that isn't shared. Cold air seeps into the room so there was no need for the fan (that was provided, there was no air con and no need for one).

One of the more cheaper and budget-friendly option if you’re traveling to Cameron Highlands. The room is spacious but it could use a makeover since the decoration is from a time gone by. Staffs are friendly and helpful along the way. Suitable for family and business travelers alike. Plenty of sightseeing to go to.

The rooms were clean, spacious & comfortable at an affordable price. Beautiful garden/hillview. Hotel decor & ambience was nice. The staff were friendly & helpful. Ample parking space in the basement. Food was average.

The front office staff, concierge, and especially the manager (Mr Jim) were so friendly, professional and courteous. I just checked in and am already enjoying the stay. Clean room, nice toilet and nice view.

This is my favorite hotel previously but now not longer due to that the old Chef is no longer there and no more old menu only has a new menu that is the same as other hotel offers. Unlike old times they have their own burger signature that i really enjoy and will book this hotel every time I come to Cameron Highlands.

Near by bus station and not very far with downtown. The quiet place and you can enjoy your vacation mode fully. The room is not bad but you need to familiar with the place to go upstairs for the first day at there 😁. Delicious breakfast and nice customer service 😊

hotel is kinda old style with old furnitures. The staff are great, always with serve you with patience. Tooth kit and slippers not provided in hotel room, but you may request from the receptionist. Breakfast served is quite basic. Overall is okay.

Good location on hilltop 10min walk to Tanah Rata Town with lots of dining options. Rooms need refurbishment even for the "new" deluxe rooms facing the nice mountain view...strong musty smell daily during our 4D stay. Buffet breakfast is very limited.
