Hearing so much about Sedona's outdoor stuffs to do, areas to relax by the water, we just had to check it out! • The drive to Sedona from Flagstaff was short and scenic. Seeing all the Ponderosa pine trees and red rocks alltogether is another level. We already planned a couple of places to visit with short hiking trails. Apparently, there's over 400 hiking trails in Sedona, and we didn't plan to do all that. We were not in the mood to hike but weren't in the mood not to either 🤣! We decided to drive to Courthouse Vista, a popular trailhead hub with red rock views. From there we can already see the Courthouse Butte up close but we went climbing up Bell Rock to get a perfect view of the whole Sedona. It did not disappoint! We didn't have to hike all the way up, just turn around and it's right there! Breathtaking, peaceful and we were speechless! We stayed for a few hours and took it all in. • "Thankful for days when my body takes me to places like this. My heart is so grateful every time nature takes my breath away. I can't imagine life not seeing beautiful destinations." • For more outdoor adventures, follow @Bodintures

Great hiking- would rate as easy to moderate. Not good for strollers as it’s paths are rocky. Such a lovely hike and had some fun climbing! We attempted the loop north to northwest direction and ended up climbing on the back side.

Loved this hike! Easy access, quick accent and big views. We found / climbed ouf way atop 2 different mesas and sat in peace for the sunrise. Extra special being the first and only humans on the mountain:). Get out before the sun wakes, it's so worthwhile!

This is the most beautiful place in the world to me. Sitting on Bell Rock while looking at Courthouse is the most peaceful place for me. It’s where I feel so small and the world feels so large, but in the same breath I’m one with the rock I’m sitting on. The vortex energy I’ve always felt here is what brings me back every spring to the same spot. The scenery is amazing but the feelings I get when I’m there far exceed what my eyes can even begin to see. This is heaven to me. You do need a pass to park, or you can just park a few miles down the road and they’ll shuttle you here. I’ll just be laying here on this rock. It’s where I belong.

Nice hike from the parking lot with toilets, although it may get very busy and it'll take you a while to find a parking spot. Also you'll have to pay a $5 fee per vehicle unless you have the National Parks pass which you can just display on the dashboard of your vehicle. The hike is easy at the beginning but if you want to go up to the bell, it will require some scrambling skills over the sand rocks. There is plenty of people going up in several ways, but be careful, especially on the way down and if it has been raining as it will get slippery. Great views from the heights of the bell, and if you go up with your ropes and harness, you'll find some anchors to clip to get to the very top of the hill.

This trail has tons of great views of the whole surrounding area. We showed up just before 9am and the lot filled to capacity by 9:15am. You have the choice to climb Bell Rock or hike around it. You can also use Google maps to find the vortex nearby. We stumbled upon the Rector Connector trail, it was was nice, windy foot patch with few shaded areas but moderately easy.

Baby bell has some gorgeous views and the hike is very fun! We brought a packed lunch and enjoyed an hour munching and laying in the sun surrounded by the beautiful landscape. Highly recommend!

Trail sort of marked but in different directions and not super obvious or just one way to ascend. It doesn't seem like it's possible to get lost. Some people just head straight up the steep center and others wind around to find easier paths. We did both and towards the top went around the far left before coming back to the center to reach top of the left pillar. Felt great to reach the top. The views are incredible all the way up. Need lots of water and good shoes.

Outstanding hike! It was definitely challenging and not for beginners if you want to make it to the higher points. Good idea to wear hiking shoes as well. Amazing views at every turn. Would do it again.

Absolutely incredible place. Try and get there for sunset or sunrise as the light is magnificent. You need time just to sit and watch this vista. It's well worth the time. There's easy parking and stunning views just a two minute walk from the car park. If you want to hike there's lots of opportunities too.

Great spot to climb around on the rocks and enjoy fantastic views! Gets crowded but the light near sunset is spectacular.

This was a very nice experience!! The hike is awesome!! The Vortex in the area gives you a nice sense of tranquility!! Definitely has amazing views!! It's a must do!! On a side note parking is a little bit of an issue, a small wait.

One of the most amazing trail in Sedona, especially during this time of the year. I have to warn you, follow the trail according to your health. The final part of the trail could be slippery. However, when you finally at the top, it is all paid off, the view, the wind, the peace. Something can’t be e painted with words but the experience itself.

The awe and wonder of nature. Parking was tight but worht it to wait a little. Relatively easy to go up farther than you'd think...to Courthouse Butte. Bell Rock maybe harder.

Got to the Bell Rock Trailhead parking lot in the dark to hike the Bell Rock Climb path up to the middle of the bell itself. I was hoping against the forecast to see the sunrise in some form but I didn’t have any luck on that day. But still, the view up there was spectacular, and the climb up was not difficult, so all in all still a great experience.

A very fun and exciting family hike trail! We did it in December on a snowing day. The snow melt on the hill rock. Therefore, the trail was not so slippery, and there were numerous interesting mini creeks and water falls cascading down along the hill rocks. The chuncky and round rock slabs invite one to explore and discover fun ways to climb up. Hence, you dont have to follow the trail path. My ten year old kids lead the way up and enjoyed the trail very much. The view was fantastic.

One of the most beautiful rock formations ! Bell Rock is a very popular for hiking. The trails are well mapped. You can choose the level of difficulty for your hikes. The summit is about 4900 feet (1494 meters). Parking is five dollars. One of the most photographed landmarks. Would definitely recommend that you visit if you are touring Sedona.

One of the most strong vortex sites in Sedona. Dogs are welcome too. Amazing place!

MUST VISIT HERE IN SEDONAAAA! IM SERIOUS! Warning though: Climbing the bell rock itself though takes a little bit of courage. It's quite dangerous. But you can still enjoy the view without going up the rock. :)

Beautiful place to spend the evening watching the sunset. We got there 1.5 hrs before - got up to the rock (halfway up) and sat and relaxed. Lovely.

Great short hike, but not the easiest one. Sometimes is hard to find to right path to the top. The views are breathtaking!!! Wear high grip hiking shoes, the rocks are slippery. If the northern parking is full try the southern one, it's 15 min on foot to Bell Rock trailhead on a mostly flat trail.

This starts off as a trail but turns into a steep, unmarked climb. I'm surprised people consider this a beginner level hike, as most of it is not what I would consider a hike at all, it's a climb either up loose rock piles or giant slippery sloping rock faces. I had fun, and saw incredible views before I had even gone far. Parking was difficult, very few spaces.
