Amazing scenery, clean sandy beach and clear sky. The sound of the waterfall is calming for meditation. Fresh for swimming and a bar just around the corner to chill and grab a cold beer while staring at the horizon at sunset. It is indeed an amazing place to visit.

Very very popular with locals, overpriced restaurants. Easy access along the beach and roads. You need some dexterity to climb over slippery rocks. I was a bit underwhelmed being Australian.

A breath taking spectacle!! The falls, the boating experience and the fresh seafood is quite a magneting catch. The calmness of the river before the plunge and the chaos in the plunge is so electric. Watching the local fishermen dive, snorkeling and fishing, armed with their harpoons is another sight to behold. Engaging activities around the falls include; Swimming, football, jet skiing, boating and most especially eating and drinking. As concerns the prices, they are quite moderate... Also, more jet skis will make the place much more fun, likewise more food options at the local restaurants. About souvenirs; there's a wide variety, from paintings to sun hats, locally crafted hats, earrings, necklaces and beads, carvings, wine holders etc etc And the sun sets, nothing could be more fascinating. it's really a place Worth visiting

Very beautiful site, after a canoe trip at the foot of the falls, magnificent scenery. Lunch on the small peninsula. A great landscape to enjoy from the bank, in a canoe, or at the table in front of a good dish of prawns, lobster or braised fish. Need to visit yourself!!!

Great experience! You can take a canoe ride to cross (about 2000frs/person) the small river so you have a great view of the ‘waterfall.’ Access to the beach is free, coconut water (500frs) as well as other drink types (limited in choice, about 1000frs each) are sold here. They have grilled shrimp in butter, it tastes amazing, but a little pricey (10.000frs for 30 medium sized). Take a swimming suit, you’ll love it!

I really appreciated the greeting by Landry and his friend nicknamed “le dauphin” (the dolphin) who is in charge of the food. Some of us were afraid to approach the falls by boat, they did everything to make all of us feel safe. Great experience approaching the falls and get wet. After spending sometime sunbathing on the ocean side, we came back to eat flavourful crayfish with fried plantains.

Where the river Lobé meets the Gulf of Guinea! Cameroon, Africa. If you are a white person not from here I might be a bit overwhelming when you arrive here because the “vendors” come at you a bit aggressively. Have not fear! They are polite and respectful. Just be clear that you have a guide already or choose one of the vendors. You will have a wonderful time! My guide and captain did a wonderful job. We got right up close to the cataract, which was exciting, but I never felt danger or any discomfort. You need to be highly mobile and a bit fit to take on this adventure. On the island across the way we Ordered beer and coconuts. It was a delightful experience. The ocean water is (coincidentally!) Guinness colored but don’t let that put You off! The water is warm and there are no surprising obstacles . Just smooth sand! Also, everyone around these parts is physically very beautiful. Have fun y’all.

Even if you spend only one day in Kribi: go and see this! Get a coconut for 500, take a bateau to the other side for 10.000 FCFA, go swimming and have a long walk along the beach. Beautiful spot.
