My wife and I really enjoyed our stay here, beautiful landscape surrounding the historic vineyard, the staff is very friendly and accommodating. The food served in the small restaurant is delicious and locally sourced. 😋😋😋 there are cats and dogs here, also very friendly 😅 of course we also booked a wine tasting with Giacomo. The first time I tried wine with chocolate (both black and white), what a combination 😍 it was a pleasure to learn about the creation and of Brunello from Giacomo. He shared lots of insights and stories with us. 😎👍🏻 before we left we bought several bottles also one bottle of Grappa, which was also part of the tasting. 🍷 🍇 Recently I ordered some more wine from Giacomo and he sent them very well packaged. The bottles were protected by styrofoam, which also helps to shield the wine from hot or cold weather- perfect 👍🏻 Already looking forward to my next encounter with Giacomo. 😃

Had a really amazing stay. Owner and staff were really welcoming and the wine was excellent. The view around the area is a nice break if you're coming from the more urban city areas like Florence or Rome. Highly suggest to visit during the summer. The restaurant does provide breakfast, lunch and dinner and provides enough variety for a short stay. A must visit if you love cats and really friendly dogs.

A kind of magical places, quiet, merged in nature. The owners are great, kind, a wonderful family. Amazing food and wine. Not at all expansive, with the chance to camp with tent and caravan. A paradise!

Absolutely fantastic place. We stayed for 3 nights in June 2019 and it was perfect. It is placed just few minutes outside Montalcino, in a quiet and lovely place, easily reachable by car. There are many places you can visit that are nearby. The owners are wonderful people, very friendly and helpful. They are animal lovers so you will find many dogs and cats in the courtyard. The food was also fantastic, everything we had was fresh and delicious. Also, they produce local wine so you can visit the cellar, have a tasting and definitely buy some bottles of really good wine. We highly recommend this place if you want to appreciate real Tuscany.

Our stay was great! The room, the food and specially the people were very nice. Laura did everything to please us, she showed us around the farm, telling us the name of every plant and what it was used for. In the next morning she made us salvia tea from her garden. We love natural food and ambience free of noise. It will be in my memory forever. There is nothing in life than love and kindness. 💘

Staff Moerra was very kind and made our stays at il Cocco happy. It has beautiful house, garden, and also lovely dogs and cats. We had dinner with Brunello di Montalchino wine. Overall I satisfy with the stays there.

This is a great little farm with wonderful food just about in the middle of nowhere. You gather around one big table and share a meal with other travelers.
