We enjoyed visiting this during the day. Entrance as only a few dollars per person. We spent close to an hour exploring all the nooks and crannies. Lots of old cannons to see and a park like atmosphere.

Went here during a day trip to Havana. It was an ok walking through the Fort to see the firing of the cannon but the best part to me was getting to watch the storm rolling in over Havana I snapped a few pics with my camera :)

Best time to visit at 8pm to have enough time before the cannon is fired at 9pm. It is a nice place to watch the sunset and view Havana also. At the end you’ll find many taxis and they’ll ask for 10usd to cross you over back to Havana.

For 100 CUP you can visit this very historical site. If you're in Old Havana for a few days this is a must do. Every single night there's a show commemorating the cannons blast at 9:00 p.m. make sure you show up around sunset so you can see the city in it's most beautiful state and capture show as well. They have gift shops bring water. **Make sure you have a way to get there and way back. Because you can't walk back into thru the tunnels. It shouldn't cost more than 10€ from Old Havana, I'm sure you can negotiate at round trip for 15 - 20€

This fort and procession at nine pm with the cannon shot was more than amazing. This was the last stop in our full day tour of Havana and what an experience.

Historical fort built to prevent enemies entering Havana. Very nice scenic view of old city Havana and surroundings. Must visit if in Havana. Highway recommended.

A great fort yo visit. Cost is a bit high compared to what a Cuban pays to visit. Feel taken advantage of, but worth the price. Souvineer shops located inside
