Me and my boyfriend booked a room at this Holiday Inn over the weekend for our trip to Hershey Park since the Holiday Inn closer to the park was fully booked. We arrived after a long drive and go to the check in and are asked for the last name of the reservation and are told there’s no reservation under that name? So we try my first name and then my boyfriends first, and last name, still nothing. I show the lady at the front desk my confirmation number and email and she proceeds to tell me that they are fully booked, that there’s no available rooms left, and that there was nothing she could do and no one we could talk to… while we are 5 hours away from home, unfamiliar with the area, and my cell phone is almost dead. She’s offers me a charger and tells me to call customer service to figure it out… after 30 minutes of waiting I finally get in contact with customer service and they confirmed they saw a reservation on their end and they called the front desk to sort things out. She comes over to us and tells us she doesn’t know what happened and that she should’ve checked the papers with all the names and reservations… are you serious? I can understand a computer error but she dismissed us so quick and treated us as if we weren’t guest and didn’t even attempt to accommodate us or fix the issue when it was that simple of a fix. We finally got into our room and it’s no prize. Finger prints all over the headboard, stains on sheets and curtains, and mold in the shower as if the customer service we were given wasn’t already enough. We left to try to enjoy the rest of our night and when we come back our key cards don’t work. That thankfully was resolved but overall we were very displeased with our stay here.

My husband and I were on a trip to Hersey Park, this hotel was 30 minutes away from the park but it was worth it. The Manager Rosa was helpful from the moment we walked in the door. An issue with the reservation came up but Rosa cleared it up quickly. We got to our room and it was clean. For the cost of the room it was better than expected. Bed was comfortable and woo hoo...there were DOVE products in the shower and for hand soap. The morning of our check out there was an impressive breakfast....meat, eggs, cereals, yogurts, french toast, fruit, oatmeal, coffee, tea, apple juice, etc. I would definitely stay again. Rosa and the staff were friendly, professional and helpful.

Okay where do I start?...... Front desk lady last nice was great. Looked really clean at first. Then as I get to my room the carpet looks bad not sure if it needs to be replaced or if they are getting replaced it was coming up from the floor I did trip but didn't fall and looks like it hasn't been vacuumed in a month of Sundays. And the toilet wasn't cleaned there was used groceries painted on the inside of the toilet bowl. The floors need some sweeping and vacuumed. The bed was OK, the pillow were amazing. And then there's breakfast..... Do you honestly call that breakfast? The eggs bacon and biscuits and gravy were actually unedible. Eggs were way over cooked and had an awful taste to it. The bacon looked like jerky but I can chew jerky better and it tasted awful. The biscuits were hard as a rock and the gravy was way too thick and had a very off taste to it, and they had the biscuits and gravy displayed where you'd normally keep the cinnamon rolls very displeasing to the eye. I'd give breakfast a -10 (negative ten)

On the positive side, the room was nice, but there were several other minor issues. When we checked in, I wasn't recognized as a diamond member nor was I offered amenity points. Usually they are posted by the time I get to my room. When I asked about it later, she said she didn't know about it but would make sure my rewards number was in the account (it has been for several years) The room itself was roomy and clean, but outdated. No USB ports, but enough power outlets for what we needed. The floor space alongside the ice machine on the 3rd floor and lobby had a lot of trash. These were the only 2 we were at, so I will assume it was like that throughout. The hall carpet on our floor had ripples due to age, and there were little bits of litter here and there. Obviously the staff keeps the rooms clean, but doesn't pay much attention to the common areas. The breakfast was sparse. There were only 3 hot trays, two of the cereal containers were empty, and many of the other usual IHG items weren't there. I asked the morning desk clerk about my amenity points and his response was "Sorry, I don't know nothing about that". Sorry folks, this is not one of your better properties.

Not a good value. The hotel is dirty, dirty and dirty. The staff isn't helpful or knowledgeable, but they have time to play on their phones. The breakfast bar was perfectly fine with a good selection. The water treatment building nextdoor isn't attractive either.

We stopped here for the night. The front desk staff was welcoming. We had a first floor room with king bed. Not sure why we had a handicapped room as I had not asked for it , but the bathroom was not very accommodating as the water from the shower got all over the floor plus there was no heat on the bathroom. Plus there were stains on the wall in the bathroom. The room had lots of space but was not that cozy and the cleaning products or spray they had used made me start coughing. There was free breakfast , I got cereal and fruit but there was a hot food bar. It is pet friendly with a grassy area that my dog used. Overall it was ok but i think the cleaning could be done a little better with fresher linens.

Stay at a lot of hotels for kids soccer and futsal. This hotel was “renewed” maybe in the last 5 years. Rooms are ok 3 of 5. Staff are friendly and will get the supplies that you need: cot, sheets, etc and these will be clean. Rugs are old and stained, but vacuumed (not shampooed) and common areas with hard floors are not cleaned often enough. For example, it’s Saturday am at 6:30 right now the front desk staff is on the phone on a social call :) which is fine if your work is done I guess? However this floor is gross. Chips and bits everywhere from folks who socialized down here last night. So, 3 of 5.

Our room was nice and clean. I liked that they were eco-friendly by providing pumps of Dove hand soap, lotion, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. The breakfast was very good.

There was a reservation snafu caused by the 3rd party we booked through but the staff was super helpful with getting everything straightened out. Everyone we dealt with during our stay were very friendly. Room was really nice and very clean. Free Hot breakfast was almost as nice as the one we paid $13 a person for just weeks earlier at a more expensive hotel. Will definitely go back the next time we need to stay in the Hershey/Harrisburg area

The friendly staff and quality amenities, as well as centralized location we’re outstanding. The facility is clean, comfortable and close to services. When I come back to the area, I will definitely be staying again. It’s very refreshing when the management makes you feel like family.

The hotel was a bit outdated but the breakfast and the pool were amazing. Beds were comfortable and the rooms were very clean. The buffet breakfast hit the spot! Sausage, bacon, eggs, pancakes, Danish, plus the standard fruit and yogurts and cereals.

Rooms we very clean. Don’t count on the free breakfast it wasn’t that great, but that’s ok I don’t expect much of the free breakfast. Outside of that staff was nice and room were clean. We didn’t use the pool but that also looked very nice. Not too far from Hershey which was also nice!

While I always find Holiday Inn hotels to be decent and a good value, this property exceeded my expectations. The hotel staff was very friendly, helpful and efficient. The room was immaculate and even smelled nice as soon as I walked in. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was great. The hot breakfast was better than what I usually experience when it's free.

It's not great, but it was fine for what we needed. Did our friend get stuck in the elevator? Yes. Are they a tad understaffed? Yes, they are. Was the included breakfast good? Surprisingly, yes. It all worked for me. Close to major highways, pet friendly, 25 minutes from Hershey Park.

Came her for a soccer tournament at Hershey, the hotel looks nice from the street. Front desk area is ok, but carpets are worn and stained, the BREAKFAST was very limited in selection and quality. The eggs runny and the bacon limp. The gym is super small and the hotel was super crowded. There wasn’t anyone to help us w towels or any service. I would not recommend choosing this hotel Pay a little more and find something cleaner and upscale

Clean comfy beds there was a weird smell when we first walked in but it went away. Good restaurants deliver to your room. It was decent and provided much needed rest.
