I love going to places with Speakeasy vibes but this location blew them all out of the water! This space is massive. You walk in the bottom floor where there is a gentleman manning the elevators. In the elevator, you will find the secret password. Once upstairs, you immediately are embraced with old Hollywood vibes (the downstairs was like this too) they ask for the password and a door opens. Inside you have various different vintage themed rooms to sit and have a cocktail in. There is a Charlie Chaplin themed roomed with one of his original hats. The cocktails were delicious and bartender friendly. Not a single complaint or thing I would change. I look forward to being a regular here.

What a unique restaurant there were many. places such as rooms with old time cameras and motion picture machine. The Servers are dressed in roaring twenties types costumes. The speakeasy bar had a is a silent movie playing at all times. The food was excellent the entertainment was really good also.

Unfortunately we will never go back to dine at the Speakeasy. The number of reservations they took prior to the concert set the staff up for failure. Our reservation was for 6:00. They would not allow us to go up to the restaurant at first. I didn't look at the time when we finally got seated but it was after 6:30. We ordered as soon as we sat down but by 7:45 we still did not have our food. The concert was supposed to start at 7:30 and they came in and told us they were going to hold it for 20 minutes which would have been 7:50. So we asked for it to go so that we could get to the show and unfortunately when we got down there it had already started. Our food was overcooked even though we didn't get a chance to eat it there. Sad to say we will never be back. And I was really looking forward to the experience....

First time visiting, such a fun place! The whole theme of a speakeasy is really cool and you even have to give them the “password” in order to enter into the dining area. Service was great, our host and waitress were supper attentive and the food came out pretty fast. Boardwalk shrimp cocktail was so good, fresh large shrimp! It comes with 6. The mini slider trio was delicious, pulled pork, meatball and pot roast. Dessert - flourless chocolate cake with mousse also delicious. They have live entertainment they starts around 8/8:30 and that was super fun as well. Will definitely be back!

Great food, but the drinks could have be stronger. It's a fun atmosphere for dancing and live music. Our server was on the slow side, but they were very busy. The one thing that took away from giving 5 stars was when we got the check, it had a handwritten note saying, "credit card fee 0.03% sorry." But that is completely untrue. It was actually almost a 2.8% credit card fee and they don't tell you until you get your bill. This information should be on the menu because the average person does not carry hundreds of dollars on them in cash.

Ehhh. 1920’s theme place. I feel like there was a lot of potential but Seemed like the owners have not done any up keep in a long time...maybe they thought it went with the theme?.. lol Food was good, menus limited- was more like finger food/apps. Drinks were very good and the live music was awesome, everyone was dancing!! I’m bit of a critic-our table was all wobbly and chairs legs were broken. & Our waitress wasn’t nice either which didn’t help BUT- I think if you went on like a double date or bigger there it would be a ton of fun. Only thing I will say is if you go later in the evening parking was a PAIN. Had to park 3 blocks down at 8:30

I'm updating my review. Screwed up and added the wrong review to the Arcada Speakeasy. Great experience! Service, food, drinks, and solo acoustic Kip Winger was all very awesome. Plus I'm almost 50 and had my first ever bourbon cherries. They're phenomenal. Thanks to Ron Onesti for another awesome night at the Arcada.

Sinatra Sunday was great! The special was great, the entertainer Vince Amor had a wonderful voice and the tiramisu cocktail was sooooo good. Such a wonderful atmosphere and experience ❤️.

I think they could definitely use a revamp of their dinner menu. Was not impressed with the selection. However- the Flatbreads were pretty good. Cocktails are good but highly overpriced.

Dare you to take the elevator to the second floor! Best remember the password too, otherwise ya out. 😉 Looking for something different, stop in on a Friday or Saturday night. Bring ya best dame too! Just show up early, don't want to be left out! Later, got another job to run...

Amazing atmosphere in the Arcada theaters top floor. The shrimp cocktail was great and the Charlie Chaplin Chicken was delicious. Louis Armstrong cover band that was so good you thought you were back in time. Dinner and a show was perfect. I wish I knew about this place sooner. Tons of shows all year round.

This is an excellent place to grab dinner before a show. The food and service excellent. The restaurant is beautiful with plenty of historic and music related decor that gives an impression of an old school "Speak Easy" right down to the tricky bookshelf that moves aside and allows entry into the dining/bar area. Highly recommend!!

Awesome place, nothing else like it. The speakeasy upstairs is absolutely gorgeous and the seating is so comfortable . Love the atmosphere, you’ll feel like your in an Italian family’s living room, the Decor is totally Italian, Capidimonte lamps, furniture from Italy. The shows are always wonderful. Great food, great service, great entertainment. LOVE THIS PLACE. Highly recommend it!

Good venue taking you back to the roaring 20's. With over 400 antiques throughout the place you will feel like you've stepped back in time. Service is always excellent with the servers dressed in the era. Food is good but menu is limited

We went to a 20s cabaret show. I had a great time although the audience was louder than the entertainment. The ambience of the club is fabulous. Can't wait to go back! Service was great also.

Had dinner before the Geoff Tate show in March. This is a great venue and the service was outstanding, thank you Kim! The food and drinks were mediocre at best with a choice of only 2 entries, Salmon or beef filet (very salty) both came with the same sides. I would give it a go again, skipping dinner for drinks and a show.

Very cool place,it has a 1920's vibe. Good service. Live music, dancing and alcohol. It's has a pretty small menu, very tasty though. It's also right above The Arcada!

  • 4/5 Kumar J. 4 years ago on Google
The place was a snapshot in time. There's a room dedicated to Chaplin and silent film. The wall of this room was had about 50 antique cameras mounted on it. The decor was either original or old enough. The entertainment was talented. We had the appetizers, shrimp and flat bread. It was alright. This place is great if you want to time travel. Guests are encouraged to dress up.

  • 5/5 Chris C. 4 years ago on Google
Great place! Don't hesitate to go have a drink and check it out! You will definitely feel like you have stepped back into the roaring twenties.

1920's atmosphere tucked away in downtown St. Charles. Food and service are great, and they book very good entertainment. Parking can be a bit of a challenge on weekend nights. Definitely worth a visit!

The Best place to go for good food Great Drinks and Good live Rock & Roll music from the 50's and 60's...

  • 4/5 John F. 4 years ago on Google
This visit was for the Sunday family style Italian dinner. We had a table of 12 and had a good time. The speakeasy room is very unique and provides a party atmosphere. The food was good but a little on the warm not hot side. Meatballs were tender and generous in a perfect Italain gravy. My recommendations to improve would be to have extra salad dressing on the table as it is very lite as is on the salad and have more than one shaker of parmesan cheese for a table of 8 or more. Fun time as usual at Arcada.
