Brunch place close to the British Museum. Food is mediocre in general but the presentation is pleasant. English breakfast is above average. Bacons and sausages are not overly salty. Hash brown is golden and crispy but a bit too tiny... baked beans are good. Fruit waffles look very good but the fruits are not the most fresh. Waffles are quite tasty though - fluffy and not overly sweet. It's not a bad brunch choice if you happen to be around the area, but not worth visiting from faraway.

Went around 10:15 am, no reservation and was seated right away at a bar top type seat. Had a cappuccino and the Eggs Florentine with side of hash browns. Coffee and food came pretty quickly and were both delicious! Portions were fantastic and satisfied me until dinner time 7 hours later! Waitress was sweet and attentive. Place is close to the Brit museum and has a back garden as well. Highly recommend!!

The food is really good and both the English breakfast and the waffles were fantastic. We showed up very early and were able to get a table without reservation and waiting period (a rarity). Strongly recommend making a booking to get your spot. The staff was efficient and nice.

Loved the Traditional Full English Breakfast! High quality ingredients cooked to perfection. The only note would be the bacon which was too salty to my taste. Otherwise, excellent dish! Kind and attentive staff, also cozy atmosphere.

We enjoyed breakfast today, I would score this 4.5/5. The quality of the sausage was fantastic, a proper butcher's sausage. I had the American breakfast, it would have been 5/5 if they had used streaky bacon, you can make that much crispier than back bacon (advertised as crispy bacon). The fried egg was only just cooked. Fresh OJ lovely if a bit expensive given it came with lots of ice, they could ask if you want ice or not. Really friendly staff, generally attentive and would recommend and return. OH had vegetarian breakfast, nice and hot and was served on warm plates. See pics.

Great brunch food here! I would recommend booking as they seemed to be quite busy and popular! I had the vegetarian English breakfast, and it was so delicious. The staff are nice and polite too. The space is a bit cramped, as the tables are quite close together, but still it was a cozy vibe inside. Would love to come again and try their other vegetarian dishes.

This was our second time visiting for brunch and it’s safe to say we will be back! The atmosphere is wonderful, it’s clean and prices are very competitive. We had the shakshuka and the protein breakfast, both were absolutely delicious. Generous portions too, so we were full until dinner! In addition to the delicious food and lovely staff, their cappuccinos and chai lattes are amazing!! Highly recommend! Cannot stop raving about this place!

Really friendly staff who despite being super busy accommodated my friend and I. We had brunch there Saturday lunch and it was so good we returned Sunday morning. We were remembered and got a nice welcome back. Personable service. Crispy non oily hash browns. Yummy 😋

Went here for brunch and was pleasantly surprised. The food and coffee was delicious and freshly made, we tried the American sweet and savory waffles - really delicious and highly recommend, cheese toastie - huge portions, latte and a Spanish latte - really nice balanced coffee. For the quality and quantity, the place was amazing and the staff was quite nice as well. Highly recommend booking a table for weekend brunch though, there's a queue for about 30-45 mins at peak times. Do give it a try!

Lovely experience! Staff were friendly and professional, didn’t feel overwhelmed by then constantly checking in, always had a smile on their face. A wide selection of food choices from sweet to savoury, breakfast to lunch! The waffles were delicious, and portions are generous. Plating is phenomenal as well. The coffees also had latte art on them, can feel the sincerity and care from staff. They have lots of vegetarian options, very inclusive. Booked a table at 1:30 but turned up early around 1 pm on a Thursday afternoon, restaurant was busy but staff still quickly managed to clear a table for us! Good atmosphere, a bit small but part of the overall aesthetic. Would definitely visit again!

What English breakfast should be like! Very tasty, and the artisan title is not just there for show. The bread is excellent too. Coffees were very well made. Not my favour profile, but still very good. Would be amazing if you'd have two choices of coffee beans! Definitely worth a detour for breakfast!.

The food was absolutely delicious, the best meal we had during our stay in London! Both my husband and I had a traditional English breakfast with poached eggs and mimosas. The staff is very nice, and the place itself is so cozy. We will definitely visit again when in London!

We didn't have a reservation but went around 10:30am and probably waited 15-20min...they were very obviously busy and we didn't mind queuing. Service was very fast once we ordered. I got the traditional full English breakfast with English breakfast tea which both were amazing. They were easily able to accommodate subbing the mushrooms for another option. Definitely worth the wait, great food, Definitely popular for a reason and all at a reasonable price

Visited on 4 June 2023. Went for the Traditional English Breakfast and it was good. Every side dish was on point. Service was good. I would recommend this place with good food and vibes to anyone. You might want to try to get a booking as it was quite filled during my visit at lunch time.

Victoria House coffee and food came up in our research for near by places for brunch. Perfect relaxing brunch spot. Try to get there right around when they open. It does get packed pretty quickly. I got the protein plate with halloumi, added salmon and avocado. Definitely a very filling breakfast and thoroughly enjoyed all the fresh ingredients. One of my favorite highlights is the honey latte. Don’t forget to stir. The honey is at the bottom. My boyfriend got the Traditional English breakfast, he was able to finish the whole thing and fully enjoyed all day fresh ingredients as well. What I love about this place is the service and the friendly demeanor of all the staff and atmosphere. Even though it is a small café everyone around us, fully enjoyed their time there and loved their food.

Wouldn’t normally relish sitting outside in a back street (inside was full) but the food and service are so good here. Best coffee we’ve had in ages. Really enjoyed our brunch, thought we’d eat rather than join the big start of day queue at the British Museum. So glad we did! We will book next time, this place is popular so you might have to queue unless you reserve. Would recommend 😊

Amazing food and service! Had the vegetarian full English and good grief was it good! My partner is milk/butter intolerant and they made extra care to be sure that she was taken care of. Everybody was so friendly and helpful. Come for the food, stay for the service! My food was phenomenal and very flavorful…perfectly cooked- I enjoyed every bite. Will be back!

We had breakfast here on Monday morning. Food and service was excellent. A member of the staff apologized for the delay, due to a ticketing issue, in receiving our order (it really wasn't that much of a wait) and gave us another round of drinks and some hash browns on the house. Staff was very friendly and attentive, highly recommend for breakfast.

Good service and delicious food. Very filling and priced well. The chicken shawarma wrap is amazing and same with the waffles. Super long wait to get in tho. Make sure to reserve a spot in advance.

Best place in London we’ve visited so far. Very high quality foods that are more affordable than other cafe places. No complaints but watch out for long lines ( you can book online to skip the line)

Wonderful breakfast spot! I ordered the traditional English breakfast and a cappuccino, both of which were delicious. The service was excellent too, with the staff being friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great breakfast in a welcoming atmosphere.

Came here at 11 am on Sunday, and there was a small queue outside. Fortunately, I'd made a reservation in advance, so I was seated straight away. I ordered the avocado on toast with poached eggs and a coffee. The service was efficient and friendly, and the food itself was delicious and presented nicely. It's busy so I'd definitely recommend booking in advance, especially during peak times.

The place is very close to British museum and it’s a perfect restaurant to have a snack before/after visiting the exhibitions. We went there for breakfast. The staff was extremely nice and accommodating. I ordered the tuna melt sandwich. It was nice but it lacked taste for me. However, it kept me full for many hours. The waffle was tasty.

Absolutely incredible! We enjoyed the English traditional breakfast a lot & the portion was huge! The coffee had got good kick in there! Friendliest staffs ever! Would recommend to make reservations beforehand especially weekends. Definitely a fabulous way to kick start the day!

Busy diner serving breakfast and brunch, stone's throw from the British Museum and 10 minutes walk from the West End theatres. We booked in advance for 11 on Sunday (strongly advised on weekend mornings as most eateries open at noon). All of us loved the food and drinks. Dishes presented perfect for social media, and taste as good as they look. Prices very reasonable for the area.

We discovered this place on our visit to London, and we would book flights back just to have this breakfast again! Outstanding food & service! I got the protein breakfast and my husband got an omelette, after seeing the berry waffles we had to order them as well. Truly one of the best breakfast meals we've ever had. The manager and staff were all extremely friendly and helpful.

I found myself in London as a tourist and staying in the British Museum area of the city. I found this place through google search and decided to try it for breakfast. It’s an excellent spot for a great breakfast. I’m vegetarian and was not disappointed with the number of vegan and veggie options. Service was v quick and friendly. Food was excellent and plentiful. I’ll be back, probably tomorrow.

Such a nice place. It’s quite crammed (but not uncomfortably so), there was even a queue outside for walk ins so it’s definitely worth making a reservation which luckily we had. I couldn’t fault a single thing. Avocado toast with poached eggs: the eggs were perfect, and the feta was a nice touch. Really good coffee, and lots of alternative milk options. I’m even pretty sure the orange juice for our mimosas was freshly squeezed. Service was great too, very kind and friendly.

A little hidden gem near Holborn/Russel Square with a variety of brunch menu (some are really special!). Super nice staff and dog friendly. Food portion is huge and the taste is absolutely amazing. The presentation is also perfect. They don't have many seats and are quite popular, booking in advance is recommended to avoid disappointment, but the queue is also not so long.

For having a typical English brunch, this place is highly recommended. I can say that in London I have hardly tasted such delicacies. The staff are very polite and professional. The price is consistent with the quality.

Lovely staff, they made everything work and always made sure we were okay. The waffles were incredible. Strongly recommend the compote. Not too sweet and clearly homemade. 10/10 birthday brunch

Awesome food, coffee, and tea! Atmosphere is pretty nice too as it is not too crowded but not too quiet when we went there. Prices are very reasonable for a restaurant located in central London. Will definitely return someday to try other dishes!

We really enjoyed our breakfast. It was absolutely fantastic and the staff were super friendly and catered for extra requests. A wonderful place to start the day in London.

Wonderful breakfast. We both went for the protein breakfast, two slices of toast with avocado and packed eggs, with garlic mushrooms and Halloumi, with a small salad. Great value for money and really filling. Got there as they opened and it filled up really quick, so would advise booking. Will definitely visit again if in the area.
