Hidden gem for breakfast/brunch in and around reading. The service was really top notch. We had a full English breakfast and sunshine mocktail and thoroughly enjoyed it. Cafe Yolk 'down the road' has got some real competitor! Loved their pistachio and vanilla lattes! Highly recommended and will visit it again soon.

What a breakfast place. We go there every now and then and always find it home away from home. Family run cafe who welcomes you as friends with genuine warmth. Food is always consistently delicious and awesome. Great ambience, addition of a fire station to keep you warm. Recommended for breakfast and brunch (I haven’t tried other times but I am sure it will be no less). From me as a very critical person when it comes to good, Monty’s is the place to go.

Nice cafe staff go the extra mile to ensure your happy. Very good customer service the place is really clean. Good selection on the menu we had spicy chicken wrap, Chicken tika wrap, Full English breakfast and mango juice. All on point.

Wow, what a beautiful breakfast we had here. Great service and attention to detail. Our food was super well made and well portioned with a fair price! The eggs were perfectly cooked, the bread was a great thickness making it easier to eat, great portion of beans that don’t end before everything else in your plate…great flavour out of their sausage and turkey bacon. If we’re ever in Reading again, i’d like to go back there to try other dishes. We left very satisfied and recommend the visit.

Lovely little café. The Chicken Tikka lunch platter was well presented and very delicious. The café latte was also excellent.

My wife especially pointed out the detail in everything that was done for us 👍🏼 - Service was warming and polite - Food which included full breakfasts plus turkey bacon/mushrooms and fresh OJ could not be faulted 🙏🏼 - properly cooked fried eggs (no goop/uncooked whites) 💪🏼❤️ - Coffees to go plus a side biscuit We talked about how good this was for a while after while we drove home 👏🏼 Thank you for your kindness and lovely food. Hopefully we can stop by sometime again. Picture to show the plates did not leave anything left to finish 😇 Price was great for everything we got (I would have paid more knowing it was as tasty as we had) and we came away very happy.

Such a lovely cafe to visit when in Reading. The service was amazing, the staff were all so friendly and helpful. I had the orange hot chocolate which was nice but very very sweet! Will definitely come back to try more of the menu!

What a lovely find. Superb little restaurant with outdoor (covered) seating a small but diverse menu. Food was freshly cooked and very tasty, highly recommend the sausages.

I always love going to Monty's. The food is always gorgeous, so are the coffees, and baklava. It makes me feel like I'm on holiday.

I came today for breakfast at Monty's and I can safely say that this is the best breakfast I have had around Reading. The vegan breakfast and lamb sausage mezze are the best. The hidden jewel is Honey date dip. One needs to try it. It is heaven! Mr and Mrs Ibrahim,the owners, are so hospitable and friendly. Please try this cafe as it's the one of the best around this town.

Nice cozy brunch place run by family with quite a mixture of Lebanese/Turkish and British cuisine. The lamb sausages,hummus and chicken shawarma are the must tries whereas the falafel was lacking some flavour.Also, the salmon with cream cheese was mouth-watering and super fresh. In terms of beverages I loved the homemade Turkish tea and coffee as they were very original and full of aroma, however the iced drinks again were disappointing and not up to the mark. The outside seating area with greenery all around you is quite impressive for meet-ups/brunch dates. Also the place is not on the main road which makes it very quite and comfy to enjoy your cup of coffee in serenity. Overall I would highly recommend this place for this authenticity and ambience.

Excellent place, not to far from the hospital. Very well priced and good vegan options (had spicy falafel wrap with chips and a black coffee). Staff are super friendly and service was great. Small inside area, large outdoor (covered semi indoor) area. Nice atmosphere. Will be back.

It's very family friendly cafe. Staff are very welcoming, kind and professional. Food is delicious, fresh and well prepared. I rarely try Turkish coffee outside but their Turkish coffee is just perfect and very good. Surely will visit again. ✨

I have to say, there is absolutely no competition when it comes to Monty’s. When a cafe is perfect, it really is perfect. There is no competition to their hospitality, to their cleanliness, to their hygiene, to their quality and standard of food. This family is the most professional and outclass breakfast cafe in Reading. No complaints, we are just really grateful for such lovely food and exceptional service. If I was younger, I’d definitely be coming here more than just once a week. Probably every afternoon for Arabic/Turkish coffee. Absolutely love this place!

Great athmosphere, very welcoming staff . Great place if you want to have halal breakfast and turkish food . I ordered egg scrambled - halumi- chicken tauk . Only thing is parking is quite hard to park around the cafe

Wow! What a great place. Fantastic set up, amazing service and great scrambled eggs and milkshakes! Heaters in the undercover area to keep warm and great coffee. We visited at the weekend and we’re not at all disappointed. Personable people always make visits to places like this enjoyable, and the family here were lovely. Would recommend a visit to anyone looking for a bite to eat or a milkshake!

Amazing service, and scrumptious food. I can't fault this place at all. The couple who run the cafe do it so well and with a big smile. Always looking to keep their customers happy. I took my Dad here for his Birthday breakfast and we were so well looked after. The owners surprised my Dad with a cake, the couple really made my Dads day. Highly recommended. My family and I had delicious coffee and cakes here over the weekend. The coffee was fantastic and my daughter devoured her fresh strawberry juice! The service is also second to none. Big smiley faces and such a warm welcome to us and our children. Centrally located and close to Royal Berkshire Hospital. I would definitely recommend a visit.

I went in today and had a lemon mint drink and exceptional oat latte. I asked what vegan offerings they had and they kindly gave me a falafel taster. It was so good that I had the falafel wrap! Excellent customer service and premium quality coffee and food. Thank you, I'll be back.

The food and service was amazing. I had a greek salad which ofcourse doesn't come with chicken, but they managed to sort it it out for me to have the best lunch in Reading. Thank you so much for the poaitive service and keep up the good work!
