I have been to this hospital a couple of times now and every time the rude receptionist, especially the one with the fringe and blonde/ginger hair does not know how to talk to customers. A lot of people self fund their operations/consultations and do not expect to be spoken to in a horrible way. Being a receptionist is representing your organisation and being the front of house is key.

Unbelievable! Shocking! Unacceptable! I am still shocked seeing that they are still allowed to provide healthcare services and no one takes actions against them. Definitely, I will do it! They just rip the patients off, it is nothing about care and I am saying that as a healthcare professional. I booked an appointment with Dr. Panesar, being concerned about my left site swollen jaw. I paid online £ 200 to book the appointment and I got to the hospital. After more than 30 minutes delay, I had a short discussion with the doctor and I agreed to have a nasoendoscopy which lasted about 3 minutes. 5 days later, I received the invoice : £370 (220 consultation and 150 the nasoendoscopy). They put me to pay for the consultation AGAIN , £ 220 instead of 200 ( which was paid online when booked) and the nasoendoscopy, £150 which I paid for same day. 2 weeks later, they send me an email, informing me that I still have an outstanding debt of £130. Obviously, I thought that it is another mistake and I sent them the proves of my payments for the whole consultation lasting 15 min, explaining that I paid for everything. I received another email confirming my payments where they thanked me for using their services. I still have all their email. After a while, I got another email saying that I still have to pay £130. I wrote another email, asking if they are able to check my payments and again I sent the proves. Nothing received till few days ago, when they sent me another email ( 4th time now), saying that I still have to pay £130. I called them today, 1/09/22 and a guy explained me that I must pay the equipment the doctor used for my nasoendoscopy. I did not know what he is talking about, as I was not informed about this aspect before or during the consultation. I would have decided whether to pay or not. This is ridiculous: 200+150+130= 480 ?? What for? For an endoscopy who lasted 3 min?? This mess must stop! It is lack of respect for people who pay, who trust them and who are already stressed because of illness. It is not fair for people who really think they can find a solution at this hospital. Now, this is harassment, I am feeling harassed with consequent emails sent by them, telling me to make payments for something I was not aware of. I am going to inform all professional bodies and media about my case, because someone has to stop this sick approach of the hospital.

Gastric sleeve carried out here by Mr Humadi and team, the care has been excellent from the get go. Shout out to the lovely nurses on the ward (Sarah J, Jessica, Samantha, Bucy) nothing was too much trouble and I was consistently checked on as to whether I needed any liquids, painkillers etc. Would not hesitate to use Spire again, thanks so much for changing my life.

SCAMMERS. Be warned of this unprofessional company. I paid £300 for a 15 minute consultation with 𝐃𝐫 𝐉𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐇𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐞𝐬. Before the appointment they sent me 3x PDF documents in one email. On the day, Dr Hughes did a visual examination and proceeded to put a camera up my nose for a closer inspection. A week later I get another invoice for a further £175 for the camera examination! Which in all honestly, I was fine to pay IF they made me aware it would be an additional charge beforehand or even at the time. That's £475 for 15 minutes. I was in disbelief and wrote to them. They said there is a sentance in the 3rd PDF document that states "additional charges may occur for use of equipment". I haven't signed anything to agree to this. They have then tried to offer waivering the £175 charge if I go ahead with a very expensive procedure. I have asked for the details of their regulator which they repeatedly ignore and instead send invoices with a debt collection email attached. Having the displeasure of dealing with Kelly Hudson which seems to be a bored receptionist getting a kick out of it. Please do not visit this place.

I have used this private Hospital a number of times. Each and every time I have to wait for over 15 minutes to get through to someone - currently waiting as we speak and its 25 minutes and counting. Absolutely ridiculous for an expensive private hospital. I would recommend trying Princess Margaret Hospital for those who can travel that little bit more. Ridiculous!

If I could give a negative score, it would be minus 1 and the only reason for giving any score at all is the fact that they were actually open. As a private hospital, they have certainly got a long way to go in dealing with patients! My dog gets better treatment and service from the Veterinarian practice & specialists! If compared to airlines, its like paying for a first class ticket, but afforded budget airline service!

In overnight for a procedure. No issues at all. The staff were all incredibly friendly, attentive, supportive and competent.

The hospital is good but when you call, it is so difficult to talk to anyone. you have to wait for many minutes and the answering machines options are so over the top for a hospital, where people are of course calling if they are sick and anxious and not for pleasure. I guess as a nation, we have made talking to humans impossible and the answering machines options are ridiculous.

Had a routine procedure at this hospital today. The care I received was amazing. Dr Enwar, nurse Carole and student nurse Anna Areia were so caring and understanding of my hospital anxiety. They made me feel really comfortable. Brilliant hospital

Have attended here monthly for 5 years since my wife was diagnosed with cancer. Only issue has been occasional parking problems. Thankful for insurance otherwise extremely expensive. Excellent service always, both as inpatient and outpatient.

I had a hip replacement operation at the Thames Valley Spire. My surgeon, Mr Risha Chana was first class. A lovely guy, who did a great job. The staff at the hospital are very special, caring people. I could not speak highly enough of the team, at this hospital. Not only were they empathetic, had great knowledge, they made the experience, as fun as a hip replacement operation, could be! Many thanks to all of you at the hospital Kind regards Brian Mc Dermott

This is meant to be a private hospital and we complain about the NHS service which is far better than the service you get here. Very poor communication the nurses don’t explain anything properly and processes are rushed through. I have had treatments through the NHS and another private hospital and this one was the worse experience I have had. The nurses take so long to attend to you in your room even when there is a only a hand full of patients. Even the staff serving the food are unfriendly and the food is worse than the NHS. If you give constructive feedback on improving on the services they get so defensive. The rooms are ran down and the service standards are definitely not of a private hospital. If the face fits then you will be looked after otherwise just keep waiting until someone knows what they are doing. First I assumed it was agency nurses but found out they actually employed by the hospital. Honestly if you are going private go to another hospital where you get what you pay for. I will not be recommending this place to my friends or family. If your consultant is based there try to do the treatment elsewhere if possible. MRI and blood team was brilliant the problem is the nursing team. I was told that I would have a call with the pre-assessment nurse that will be 45 minutes long it lasted 12 minutes she rushed through it and there was missing information like what to do with covid testing. Each time I have been there it has not been busy so don’t know why the service is so poor. Please avoid this place unless there are improvements done to the service which I doubt they act like they have taken your feedback and do nothing. Poor communication and unprofessional your better going to the NHS :-D

I had a Z-plasty for a contracture on my thumb, carried out by Mr Armstrong I am so happy with the result i now use my hand like normal whereas before my thumb was tucked under and I struggled to use it. The whole team were very positive and helpful i had the actual surgery with Mr Armstrong at the slough location and they were all so nice and made me feel very comfortable, the Phsio was also really good. I would recommend!
