Lovely little place with a delightful owner. Really interesting coffee taste in a good way! If it had a bathroom it would get 5 stars (not sure where to put it though).

Amazing coffee. Really great flavour and very refreshing over ice in the heat. Staff really friendly and the place has a nice atmosphere. The bagel was fab and fresh. Went nicely with the coffee. Will definitely come here again as the coffee tastes really good. Definitely worth walking a little bit further down the road to get here.

This is a lovely coffee shop with a great house blend. I almost bought a bag to take away. A rich toffee, fruity blend which will please most palates. The actual coffe itself is well made and presented, these are baristas with skill and pride in what they do. The bagels are part of what brought me in, they taste great and the fillings on offer are top notch, I recommend the salt beef. There are plenty more options that I will return to try. Maybe I was just hungry, maybe they just tasted sooo good, but the portion size was alitfle small, but you are charged fairly for that too. Let's just say I could have happily eaten another. All in all well worth a visit. It was quiet when we visited at about 11am on a Monday so it's difficult to talk about atmosphere, it is decorated very well. No lounging chairs, stools at high tables, but it is dog friendly and you get lots of points for that.

I wanted to find a place to drink coffee and work a little. The place has free wifi. However, I was very disappointed visiting this place. Ordered Cappuccino and couldn't drink at all , asked them about the taste , they told me it is normal. And they have asked me to leave at 15:45 but in google it was written that they are open till 16:00 and i arrived at 15:00.

Had a brief stay in Reading, was desperate for good coffee, and Lincoln Coffee House was this lovely little place that I stumbled on. Ended up going there almost every morning for a nice latte. The staff was so pleasant and chatty and I adored the calm atmosphere. Also, the place actually uses ceramic cups if you sit in! Perhaps an odd complaint but after COVID, a lot of coffee places that used to have more robust sit-in options switched to takeaway cups whether you sit in or not. But not Lincoln! I got to have my nice cup! This place was such a pleasant surprise and I am so happy I found it!

FANTASTIC coffee, extremely friendly staff and great bagels. Independent coffee place that I wished was everywhere (but then they probably would be ruined). We were visiting for Henley and started each day here. So much better than the coffee chains!

There is more to coffee than just a punch of caffeine. These people love what they are introducing you to. No bitterness, but flavour. Best Espresso I had in Reading.

I don't think I could write enough good things about this place. no matter where I am in reading I actively trek to get my coffee and bagel from these people. Many a challenging day has been remedied here, its such a nice alternative to boring corporate chains and so so worth it in taste + price. Don't know how I'd have survived the past year without them 🤣

While their bagels and service is normally been wonderful, I can’t say I will be back this time. I believe they have some new staff now working there as someone new made my bagel. She served me on the till and typed my order, which was a smoked salmon and egg bagel. Then she went to make my bagel and used her same hands (no gloves and I did not see her wash her hands) to pick up the salmon and place it on my bagel. Not very hygienic!

Unbelievablyyy delicious bagels. I don't know what bread they use but it completely changes the experience of traditional bagels. I was also extremely impressed with the decaf coffee, as I'm used to decaf options being more bitter and tasteless than caffeinated ones - but not here! Also big shout-out to the owners, who are genuinely lovely people. Can't wait to go back!

Lincoln has great coffee and bagels! The staff and owners are very friendly. A great option for a coffee break from work or lunch. I love the hot chocolate in particular 😁

Really fantastic Coffee. I'm no expert, but most places I find that the coffee is very harsh, strong and bitter, which is something I am not such a fan of. The Coffee at Lincoln is so fresh and tasty to me, really tastes like chocolate and fruit, which I appreciate. I buy the beans as well, and they are the best I have ever had! The food is great too and the cafe is really nice and friendly.

The owners really know their coffee and show a real passion. Just what we need in Reading. I haven’t tried the bagels yet, but they do look delicious. I’ll defo get this next time I’m around!! If you’re looking for a independent speciality coffee house, then this is the right place.

10/10 Lincoln Coffee House is by far the best coffee shop for fresh coffee and food! Apart from the pastries all food is made to order. Highly recommended for the morning brew or even a cute date.

What a cup of poorly handcrafted flat white with burn milk. Disappointed with its quality after requesting another cup but no improvement..

I discovered the Lincoln Coffee House on a recent vacation. I enjoyed their breakfast sandwiches so much that I came back for all the remaining days of my trip! Staff is lovely and coffee is great!

Great location, lovely and knowledgeable staff. Their beans may not be amazingly designed, but the quality is great. They served fermented beans from Brazil when I had a coffee there.

Great staff, great food, but what the heck is the manager of this coffee house thinking? There’s enough work for 4 employees behind the bar. Maybe even 4 wouldn’t be enough for the constant queue here. Poor two girls running around like crazy, not even have a minute to breathe nor offer great customer service just because of lack of staff! Owner/manager… wake up and hire more people!!!
