My friend and I stumbled upon this place while walking through Deptford to find a nice place to study, and this cozy little cafe did not disappoint at all. It’s warm and friendly and the lovely girl was so kind and made us feel welcome and cared for. The food is delicious with a great selection of free from choices, and the drinks are just as good. Couldn’t rave about this place more, it feels like a special little gem tucked away in Deptford.

The place looks ok, indoor and outdoor seating space, nice selection of cakes. Very close to Deptford DLR and High Street. They also do lunches by looking at the menu. But the coffee wasn't the best, it had this bitter taste and was not hot enough and for £3.10 I'd expect better.

Friendly staff but my goodness, we had two slices of cake (banana chocolate) and it was super dry and felt sure it wasn’t fresh. Cannoli was another disappointment- it was tasteless and soggy and the prices of the cafe don’t justify such poor quality. Will not be recommending their food and snacks to friends.

Great little place. Most of the staff are friendly. Random hours and often shuts early without notice which is a shame. Nice coffee and nice service service. Cakes are a little sweet for me but it's all personal taste.

We are from Argentina, we were there on April 20 with my wife because we were looking for the music complex studio and we went in to have a coffee. The attention was excellent, the lady who served us was very friendly and the atmosphere of the place was very pleasant. We enjoyed that moment and we will definitely return on our next visit to London.

I had the pleasure of visiting this coffee shop and I must say, the coffee and pasta made by the old gentleman there were the best I've ever tasted in London. The flavors were exquisite and the attention to detail was evident in every sip and bite. The coffee had a rich, smooth taste that lingered on my palate, while the pasta was cooked to perfection, with the perfect balance of flavors and textures. The experience was truly unforgettable, and I highly recommend this place to all coffee and pasta lovers out there. Hats off to the talented grandpa behind the counter!

Today, my husband, our 4-year-old son, and I dropped by “ The Coffee Room” while passing through, and we were pleasantly surprised by the exceptional customer service we received in London. The atmosphere was friendly, professional, and cozy. We had a delicious coffee, Sicilian cannoli, and they even kindly offered us a cinnamon and raisins roll from their bakery. We truly enjoyed our visit and would highly recommend it.

Fantastic coffee. The beans they use taste great; the perfect strength and depth of flavour. The chocolate cake - sublime! You think it would be quite rich, but it really isn’t and is light and fluffy. I highly recommend a visit!

Popped in while passing (sat outside with bikes of our own choosing which is obviously a busy road) but inside was lovely with a cosy atmosphere. Couldn't recommend stopping here highly enough! Cakes are a joy, get the carrot cake and you won't be upset, moist and tasty with a perfect amount of icing. Coffees are great and service was too!

The best place ever !I recommend the coffe room 100%,food is amazing ,the place is very very clean and about the stuff…they are very very nice and respectful,full of joy and happiness!!!!

AVOID: when ordering online smoothies do not mention milk as an ingredient. Other drinks will offer the option for different milk, smoothies do not. They also do not offer an order notes section. The person answering the phone did not gaf at all.

Lovely place and the food looks unreal! A little pricey but the food looks decent - Chai was ok nothing to write home about, needs more flavour to come through, really subtle taste.

Today I have a very wonderful lunch to The Coffee Room Deptford. The secret ingredient is Mirela tomato sauce, sublime ♥️ It is a good place for job meeting. We ordered vegetarian lasagna, parmigiana and gnocchi al pesto. Delicious!

I really enjoyed our last several visits to The Coffee Room: we felt very well cared for, thank you so much!! Your pastas are always enjoyable and have been a delightful treat for our work days. Can’t wait to be back after the holidays.

I ordered a matcha latte and received basically just milk instead, so disappointing. This is the only cafe on my way to work but I will not be using again. Unfriendly service and the lady overcharged me, if their prices have gone up then they need to change that massive board.

I visited here for the first time, it was a work from home vibes and ordered a cup of green tea as they had no matcha. The tea costs £2.80 and was unable get any free hot water top-up. if your working there is no free wifi. As a cafe, its has nice outside tables and clean inside but as a workplace 2 stars. Pastry looks well presented but didn't try any. Still on the search for a workplace cafe in the area. Gaff cafe around the corner is cheaper

Lovely gem in the neighbourhood. Good coffee, friendly staff, very good pastry - love the pistachio bignet (first time knew about it and tastes good!) Only 5 coffee can get a free croissant!

Had an iced turmeric latte which was lovely. Tables are nicely spaced and they even had an air conditioner! Cosy little place with very nice staff, though I only met one person working there.

Lovely little cafe/coffee shop in Deptford. Awesome array of sweet options and sandwich’s, lots of drinks, and a lovely range of meals to choose from. Also helps that they have lovely deep sofas and cute wee tables. Cafe is kid friendly, has a high chair and has space for buggy parking outside. Only draw back is they don’t have a changing station in the bathroom, so you have the change the kids on the floor. Would happily return as I’m keen or work my way through their amazing range of sweet treats.
