What a great addition to our neighborhood! Sitting in a very residential street, this cafe is a gem to be found! Go through the front door, and be greeted by two smiley faces as the owners make you feel very welcome in their beautiful space, filled with natural light and lovely plants. Their cappuccino is delicious, and the hot chocolate (I chose the 40%) is an indulgent, frothy concoction that you can’t miss! Pastries are fresh and very tasty as well. I highly recommend it!

Such a lovely spot! The owners are so kind and helpful, always giving me great advice on which beans to buy. My dog also appreciates the treats they offer, to the degree he now drags me inside whenever we walk past.

An absolute gem that was discovered (not quick enough) by myself and I keep coming back despite the hour travel from where I live. The friendliest and most welcoming people operate the store, serving coffee that warms my heart. The selection of coffee beans they bring in each month never fails to widen my horizons and Lodestar Coffee has become my favourite bean dealer ! My favourites are definitely their filter coffee and mocha. You can expect a nice time there whether alone or with acquaintances :)

Came here randomly and found this lovely place! Good coffee, good people, good service, good music, and good vibes! It becomes one of my favorite spots in London now. Amazing local coffee shop in Lower Clapton. Owners super friendly and coffee/tea/hot chocolate/cold drinks all perfect. Great to sit in or take away to the nearby park. Also dog friendly and give out doggie biscuits which my dog loves!

Best coffee in the area, no competition. Great offerings from excellent roasters with multiple espresso, filter, and pour over options. If you're coming here and just getting the same thing every time, you're missing a trick. Great service too, love having a chat about how the coffee tastes with someone knowledgeable but also down to earth and kind. No snobbery here, just a great atmosphere. My new favourite by an absolutely massive margin.

Today was our first visit to Loadstar Coffee and we loved it! My oat milk latte was delicious, the coffee was very smooth so I might even go for normal double shot strength next time. My little son enjoyed a cheeky ‘big-boy-ccino’. Bora the barista was super friendly and we really enjoyed our time here. It’s evident that coffee is a big passion here and they pride themselves in making it just perfect for you every time. We will definitely be back!

Lodestar - it's my local.. the excellent coffees and delicious pastries pull people from all around - & some are very stylish. It really is a good and friendly place to be. I go every day and it's always a joy.

Lodestar is the best café in the local area and one of my favourite in London! The coffee is always on point and with a good selection of guest beans to take away too. Bugra behind the bar is very knowledgeable and gives the café a friendly vibe.

Where do I start, The ambience is just perfect. Calm, relaxing and just spot on to enjoy exceptional coffee. Wonderful coffee choices - Jazz fruits on spro… balanced and yummy Batch from Lucid, rum and raisin. Effin yummmmy Delightful velvet peach hand brew. The place is beautiful, a coffee lovers paradise.

Absolute favourite local coffee shop! Lovely house espresso and constantly changing selection of beans, filter + guest espresso. Staff is incredibly friendly, welcoming and truly passionate about coffee. Pastries are super delice too :)
