I went to see the doctor to discuss the city scan report which did not arrive. Anyway, i was in lot of pain and wanted to see any doctor available so i waited for 45 minutes and got appointment with Dr Issat Khan - one of the least caring doctor i have met. She was too lazy to pull my emergency report from the system and said I believe you that you have a knee fracture. I said it pains alot can i open the banded and show you the swelling. She goes na don’t open i will not be able to help you. The emergency people should have done it right 3 weeks ago. I was like what should i do next!! I am in pain she goes sorry come back tomorrow and see the doc who referred you for scan! They should not be in the field of service!! Mia - at reception os beautiful 😍

I Personally had a bad experience here. As a young mum I felt treated poorly, Dr Iffat Khan rushed my daughter and I didn’t do the normal check up procedure, also calling my daughter a “him” twice considering she was in all pink… also asked a question about cough syrup the Dr response was sarcastic and rude “they wouldn’t make medicine for babies would they if it was unsafe” as i was just curious of the side effects. Overall walked out upset, all I can say about this place is the reception ladies were nice made me feel welcome however Dr Iffat Khan was rude, unprofessional and put me down.

I’ve had Dr Khan as my doctor for a few years now and I have found her to be very professional and caring to her patients. I’ve had a few problems in that time and she has been very efficient in her diagnosis. I found her friendly and very easy to talk to.While she is available there is no other doctor I would see.

I used to go there just for Dr Hadbaa she was so nice listened to our problems and was very good with child. it’s sad that she has left and so did I switch to another GP. Difficult to get appointments and some doctors do not know how to handle the kids. My 2 year old was scared of doctors and was crying during the visit. The doctor told me to keep him quiet before proceeding how on earth a 2 year old knows to keep quiet. Poor kid was saying thank-you at the end the doctor didn’t even bother to respond.

I've had multiple issues with this place. Prescribing wrong medication (the pharmacists next door know more than these doctors), long wait times (both when booking or phone appointments), no standard guidelines, each of them tell you something different and just overall no sense of care. They want you in and out, they treat you as a number rather than a human. Absolutely poor service in every way.

I had an appointment with Dr Labina Butt with a very sore throat, swollen lymph nodes, green snot and a very chesty cough. I explained my symptoms mainly being my very sore throat, she asks if i had tested for covid yet, i told her i did and that it was negative i also explained that i have had covid twice before and it’s not nearly as bad as this, she looks at my throat and tells me it’s “cherry red” but she didn’t want to give me antibiotics because : “you could break out into hives” ?? - when i told her i have no allergies, she then tells me she’s going to do a nose swab (not telling me she’s only testing me for COVID) - not any other virus’s when i’ve already told her it’s not covid. She tells me to come the next day for the nose swab at the pathologist as it’s closed, instead of doing it herself. She explains that she will call me about my results that should come in soon (it took 2 days) If i need to come back for the antibiotics she wouldn’t give me. But i wasn’t getting any better, i did not get any phone call and obviously my nose swab come back as NEGATIVE So i waited 3 hours at another medical centre to be listened, helped and cared about and given antibiotics straight away no question asked, I will not see this Dr again such rude service.

Medical care is great at Optimal Health. We have been making bookings for our kids vacinations and general checkups without any delays. Appointments have always been good and the our Dr Steve has always been there for our family and their health care needs. They even fitted us in for emergencies without any issues, providing the best care for our family when we needed it. Thanks so much for being there for us and so many other people and families in the community. Great reception waiting area and toilet facilities in the medical centre as well 😁.

The receptions staff, Doctors and other medical staff are all very friendly, respectful, patient and attentive. The doctor I see is very thorough and asks all the right questions to get to the bottom of the issue. They are very good in my opinion at keeping to appointment times. Even though they do have drop ins that may be urgent. So it is understandable that occasionally there may be delays. I know if it was me in that situation I would want to know I am being cared for. I would recommend attending this clinic.

I have been a patient since medical centre opened. Reception friendly and helpful. Have seen a few doctors for different reasons. Always seen close to appointments times. Nursing staff are very good and make you feel relaxed. Love having most appointment options at one centre.

Dr Iffat Khan... When I first moved into the area I still travelled to Liverpool to visit the doctor I had since I was 14 years old then he retired. I tried several doctors in this area but I was not happy with any if them then my daughter recomended Dr Iffat Khan at Optimal Health. I was so impressed with this wonderful doctor...she cared. I soon needed her help more and more and allways found Dr Khan to be the most caring and dilligent doctor I have ever encounted. I was scared for my son as he was getting very sick and his doctor really didnt do much so I brought him to Dr Iffat Khan as it turned out she saved his life. All in all not just a wonderful doctor but a wonderful caring human being and I will allways be so thankful of the day my daughter told me to see Dr Iffat Khan

Staff is very friendly and approachable. She showed a lot of patience when trying to accommodate and getting my personal details. I asked for a Chinese doctor and she patiently looked into their system to find me one. She even checked with her colleagues. No one was immediately available so she gave the open schedules and asked me if it is fine to book me on another date. This is a medical centre that would listen and take care of the needs of its patients. The doctor was not one who would just quickly check you and writes antibiotics. They check their patients thoroughly. The surgery itself is great plenty of room and nice and clean. The waiting area has comfortable chairs with tv screen, a nice place to stay in while waiting for your turn. Highly recommended.

I've been attending Optimal Health since moving to the area around 4 months ago. Each time I've been they have been absolutely fantastic and the wait times have always been reasonable.

Dr Lance Holland Keen is amazing, as a veteran he has looked after me and my specific needs for over 4 years. He is wonderful. Reception staff are always lovely and accommodating.
