R4.3 google reviews extremely generous No food and wine knowledge but charge accordingly… So many better experiences to be had in Potts point. And on revisiting this post it’s funny to see after all this time My menu remains pretty much unchanged lol the sole owner Cleary hasn’t got a creative side…..

Nice wine bar in Potts Point. Good wine and good atmosphere. Just know that if you’re there in the final hour before they close they will be stacking up all the chairs and tables around you, and loudly moving and clanging kegs - which somewhat ruins the ambiance and vibe

Bar Sopra is our go-to for kicking off our Potts Point Dining tour. Located on the buzzing corner of Macleay Street & Challis Ave, this is a great place to people-watch whilst sipping a fabulous Gin Fizz cocktail or a glass of fine Spanish, Italian or Australian wine. Accompanied by a selection of tasty tapas or a decadent charcuterie board. The interior design is by Guru Projects with style and comfort in mind. Aparna and her team are always welcoming and pay attention to the details when it comes to looking after their guests. Our tour guests are always impressed and know they are in for a good night after starting at Bar Sopra. We can't wait for more warm summer nights in this special room.

Great vibe. Food was fantastic, cocktails hit the spot. Neighbourhood atmosphere and prices. Highly recommend.

I was today at early arvo with my friend and we ordered two paellas, there were taking a long time but the waitress was very sorry, explaining what happened inside the kitchen. She was apologetic for something that wasn't her fault, she was surely empathising with us for the long wait and we found that lovely, she checked on us the whole time how we were. Great customer service and great paella, pairing great with the catalonian beer

Awesome corner venue to hang out with friends which becoming my regular joint!!! Simple but delicious food with banging drinks, totally worth to visit

First time there tonight. Amazing staff, amazing drinks. Must try the martini’s. Highly recommend.

A nice little place on the corner of Challis Avenue and Wylde Street. Small plates available to help keep you level whilst drinking the decent choice of wines, spirits and beers. Estrella Damm and Sydney Brewery Pale Ale on tap. Quick service, nice staff. Good position for people watching. Not overly expensive. Hints of a Spanish tapas place, stylewise.

Absolute pleasure dining at Sopra bar!! Great atmosphere with friendly staff this place has the recipe for a great night out. Highly recommend :)
