What a hidden gem in Lugarno. Love the decor here and the food and drinks are delicious and well presented. A great place to grab drinks with friends or could make a great date spot. The sliders were tasty, the truffle fries are great too!

Vibes of an inner city, popular bar with the service and friendly staff you'd expect at your local. The cocktails are up there with the best of them. Comprehensive selection of drinks and very cohesive menu. Would not look out of place in the CBD but selfishly love that it is in Lugarno.

We (the residents of Lugarno) are really lucky to have the Respite Bar. The service is awesome and friendly, the food surprisingly good and very interesting (and vegetarian friendly), and the grog fairly priced. Online booking is fast and easy. There is really nothing to fault.

Respite is one of my favourite bars the drinks are a solid 10/10. What keeps us coming back is the staff. They are so lovely and always happy to have a laugh

Food was expensive for such bad quality do not order the steak it's pre cut to hide the cheap meat. Service was ok. Music so loud if you want to have a conversation with food ... not worth price or drive time

I have been to this bar a number of times but recently held a private function there and I cannot recommend them highly enough. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The food was top quality and the cocktails are amazing! No complaints at all!!

Simon and the team are fantastic hosts and create a city vibe but at local accessibility and pricing. Very knowledgeable and passionate which comes through in the food/drink offerings on show.

I cannot fault this place! Everything was 10/10. The interior, the service, the drinks, the food & the vibe were outstanding. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Good food but a small venue. We got Olives, focaccia, burrata and the salumi plate to start. We also had the bao bun platter which was very nice. The truffle parmesan fries didn't have a strong truffle taste. It wasn't bad. The apple surprise was quite good. The flavour combination was good and wasn't too sweet. The serving size was good. We appreciated the non alcoholic decaf affogatto being catered too. The Angus sirloin steak was cooked well. The XO Ravioli was great too!

Great little cocktail bar to enjoy a cosy atmosphere without having to go into the city. Perfect for date night or a catch up with friends. Will definitely be returning. They offer non alcoholic versions of most of their cocktails too.

Quaint and comfy local bar. Service is always on point. The service itself is what keeps me from coming back. Great atmosphere overall. Highly recommend
